Nice stay. Clean and enjoyed my morning coffee with the Keurig.

We scheduled last minute due to changing hotels from a dirty hotel we had already booked, and Budget Inn had a room available and was actually cheaper than the first hotel! The staff member when we arrived was friendly and handled check-in quickly. The room was clean! Bed sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was quiet! I was afraid it was not going to keep us cool because of how quiet it was, but it worked well! Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Tub/toilet area was small but not horrible. The fan in that room was fairly loud and after a minute or two it would make a grinding noise every other second. It is attached to the light so light had to be off for noise to stop. We were in Room 211 I think. That was the worst part of our stay but would rather deal with that while showering than a filthy room! Overall the room was quiet. (Second morning we could hear neighbor shower turn on but wasn’t overly loud) Area was quiet and felt safe. We were pleased with our stay!

I always stay at this motel when visiting Grand Canyon and Northern Arizona. Convenient location and easy to park your car. If you just need a place to spend a night, this is ideal. Sandy at the reception is very accommodating and helpful. During my last visit a blizzard in Flagstaff cut my travel plans in half and I asked to cancel the remaining days of my reservation. I got a refund with no problems. As a tourist from Germany, I can recommend Budget Inn to everyone.

Nice budget motel

From the outside, it looks a little sketchy. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, though— and that’s the most important thing to me in a hotel. The bed comfort was average or slightly below (this isn’t the Marriott). The bedding and towels were cheap and could stand an upgrade. The sink had a slow drain. It’s in a convenient location and you can’t hear the train (a concern for a lot of hotels in Tucson). I was on the second floor so can’t speak about overhead noise. I did hear the next door people come in late one night; but it wasn’t overly noisy. Would I stay here again? If I were on a budget, yes. For a romantic vacation, no, but that wasn’t the purpose of this trip.
