Home Sweet Dome offers the perfect blend of relaxation and beach adventure.

Location: Jamaica Beach community of Galveston, Texas

Beach access: The home is just 20 yards from the Jamaica Beach community beach access point! You’re a quick walk away, cars and golf carts are also allowed to park on the beach.

Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Jamaica Beach community pool (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day - $5 per person) and city park.

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: Up to 3 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: There is room for 4 cars in the driveway.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

Step inside Home Sweet Dome and be greeted by an inviting open concept living space, perfect for families and friends to gather. The living room, dining area, and kitchen flow seamlessly, creating a warm and social atmosphere. Three comfortable bedrooms and a full bathroom are located conveniently on the first floor. Two bedrooms contain king-size beds and the third has a queen-size bed to ensure a restful night's sleep for everyone.

Upstairs, a loft area offers additional sleeping options with two sets of full-over-full bunk beds, perfect for kids or extra guests. There's also a full bathroom and a laundry room on this floor for added convenience. Outside, the expansive wrap-around deck beckons for relaxation. Unwind in the sunshine, gather for meals under the stars, and enjoy the breathtaking view of the ocean waves just steps away.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 9 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Firstly, the location of the house is spot on. walking distance to the beach and quick drive to the store. Couldnt ask for a better location. The kids loved the bunk beds upstairs. The main issue I had was that the floors were damaged at some point by water as they were peeling up in the kitchen and living room. This caused my older parents to trip a few times and letting the toddlers walk around the house was stressful because of the sharp flooring. Water damage on the walls aswell from the skylight it seems. I felt this should have been relayed to us beforehand. Also, the wifi did not work for the 3 days we were there which made getting the kids to settle down before bed a struggle. Someone should have checked that the wifi was working before we checked in. Other than that, the house was awesome and a great location. But for the amount of money we spent to rent it, the floors is just unacceptable for me.

Dirty dishes in the sink when we arrived, & flooring was coming up although an attempt had been made to reattach it with painters tape. The a/c went out the first day, so we had (very nice) maintenance folks there working on it until we finally got some relief halfway into our 4-night stay - until then it was 92 degrees inside (we had our 80-yr-old mothers with us). When I called about a refund for part of the trip, nobody ever got back to me. Rent at your own risk!

The location and the outdoor patio is the biggest pro. The house has wood flooring that are broken and coming up, sealed with peeling blue painters tape. There are cracks in the walls and dirty skylights. There is no storage for food or places to hang wet towels in the bathroom. The beach is easily accessible and a short walk.

We were a small group that came in for a couple of days and picked the perfect house. Loved that there was 3 bedrooms on the first floor for my elderly mom and her friend so that they only had to tackle one set of stairs. The bedrooms were spacious with big comfy beds. We didn't think the upstairs would feel spacious but plenty of room for us. Walk to the beach was perfect.

The ceiling was collapsing and 1/2 of our family (all of the 5 kids) could not stay up there due to the moldy cracked ceiling. My children literally had to sleep in our beds. Ruined the whole vacation. We better be getting money back

Loved our weekend getaway! House was great and so close to the beach. We rented a golfcart and it made the trip even more awesome! There is a convenient store, little restaurant, liquor store and margarita to go place all within golf cart distance. We loved corn hole on the deck and there was plenty of seating for all of us. I think the only negative was no rinse off shower downstairs. It would have been so helpful with all our sandy kids.

Nice unique looking house with small cosmetic update needs. Close to beach. Don’t forget anything important behind like us because you won’t hear back about it from owner. June weather has the water feeling great. Beach was clean and not too crowded. Had some jellyfish and baby sharks in the area. Enjoyed parking on the beach!

We enjoyed our stay - close to beach . Interesting shaped home but it worked for our purposes. Do wish they had a little table inside to sit at for card games and meals. They do have an outside table but there is no shade and it is always windy. House was in good shape and there were nice big beds in all three downstairs bedrooms. Just a quick recommendation- the palm tree by the stairway could use a trim - hard to get up the stairway without being tickled by them and hard to see the beach when sitting in the great deck chairs in the shade. Thanks for responding to our every question .

We stayed mid-week in February at this property on Jamaica Beach. The house was as advertised: really close to the beach and the beds were good. The view from the deck was really great and the wood deck chairs really comfortable. The kitchen was really well supplied with cooking equipment. Suggestion for the owners: Put up some hooks and/or shelves in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall, this is a great beach house that sleeps a lot of people at a reasonable price.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beds are very comfortable and the deck and ocean view are wonderful. Kitchen is well supplied with appliances that look brand new. It would be good to have some towel racks or hooks in the bathrooms.
