UPPER LEVEL: Relax in a king size bed with a Smart TV (Roku - streaming & Live TV) in the room. The ensuite bathroom has a tub, shower, and even a skylight where you can catch a peek at the stars on a clear night. Sheets, pillows, comforters, nice supply of towels, washcloths, bodywash, shampoo, & conditioner are provided for both levels. The loft has a convenient workspace with a desk and USB port lamp (free WIFI). There are also 2 preschool size cots available in the master bedroom closet for guests with little ones. LOWER LEVEL: Includes a sofa with a pull-out, queen-size bed and Smart TV (Roku - streaming & Live TV). A laundry room (w/ a starter supply of laundry detergent) and a full bath with a shower are attached to the kitchen. This level boasts a cheery, open lay-out with lots of natural light. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch or on the back deck and take in the peaceful views of nature and wildlife. Don't be surprised to find some wild turkeys, deer, or even a hedgehog strolling by. The deck has a gas grill and patio furniture for four. Behind the deck you'll find a fresh supply of wood available for the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals and has newer appliances. The dual coffee maker (pod and drip) is supplied with regular coffee, creamer, sugar, tea, and K-cups. Some decor will change seasonally. GTA OWNER'S CLUB: This townhome is located in the heart of the Galena Territory. You will have full complimentary access to the fabulous variety of Territory Amenities including: ~ fitness center ~ indoor swimming pool (open year round) ~ 2 outdoor swimming pools (seasonal) ~ cafe (seasonal) ~ game room & video arcade ~ gymnasium ~ outdoor basketball courts (seasonal) ~ outdoor tennis & pickleball courts (seasonal) ~ Lake Galena Marina (kayaks, canoes, fishing boats & pontoons for rent) ~ Marina Bait Shop ~ Thunder Bay Falls Park ~ Shenandoah Riding Center (with riding fee) ~ Nordic Center (sledding, snowshoeing, and ice skating - all equipment for rent) GOLF: Non-prime season is March 29 thru May 9. Prime season is May 10 thru October 20. Off Season is October 21 thru March 31 for North Course. MAIN ATTRACTIONS: MAIN ATTRACTIONS: roughly 6 miles away in historic downtown Galena - the Belvedere Museum, the Galena Jo Daviess County History Museum, the Ulysses S. Grant Home are some of the historic attractions. In addition, you will find performing arts, festivals, tours, great shopping (modern and antique), and a lovely variety of dining. Chestnut Ski Resort is just 15 miles away. In the summer, they offer zipline, alpine slide, river cruises. ***A SPECIAL perk for our summer guests ~ our townhome has access to an additional semi-private outdoor pool, open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. ⇨ 7 day stay = 20% discount ⇦ Host Business Hours: 9 am to 9 pm, 7 days per week on VRBO Messenger. If you have an emergency please dial 911. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Due to owners' allergies, cats are NOT allowed on the property at any time. ONE DOG IS PERMITTED. Violation of this policy will result in a $200 fine. Damage caused by a pet or failure to follow GTA pet policies will also incure a fine. A medium size doggy bed, 2 pet bowls, a couch cover, and a few toys are provided in the property. 2. No parties or large gatherings! 3. No smoking! 4. This townhome sleeps four and uses keyless entry. 5. You must be 21 or older at the time of booking and present during the entire stay. We do not allow third party bookings. 6. We are unable to issue refunds for weather, sickness, or similar circumstances that are beyond our control. It is recommended that you purchase travel insurance if you desire a refund for these situations. ***Taxes reflect exact amount required by IL state and local county lodging tax laws.

Nice little townhouse in the Galena area. Dana and Nathan are great communicators. Check in was extremely easy and the unit was well appointed. All the amenities of the Galena Territory owners club were available as were the Eagle Ridge Golf courses. Galena itself is only about 15-20 minutes away for shopping and lots of restaurants. We were very please with this location and would definitely use it again

Great time of year. Wanted to see leave color change. The townhouse was perfect for relaxing, quiet and all our needs were met. Not a busy time in community, due to no golf. Was alittle disappointed that the game room in the owner's club was closed. But venturing into Galena and driving the country roads was enjoyable. Even cooked out on the grill. Would stay again.

I only have good things to say. Property is located in a beautiful part of Illinois. Was very clean, very comfortable, very quiet. Lots of bunnies and wild turkey roaming around. Practically had the pool to yourself most of the time. Just steps from the condo. Golfers dream. We explored most of our week. Iowa/Dubuque one day, Wisconsin another. Galena a couple of days. Beautiful State parks only minutes away. I would highly recommend this property and these hosts.

Very impressed with this updated villa! The decor was pretty and we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and nice linens. We also appreciated the coffee bar! The Galena Territory golf villa at Walnut Hills was everything and more. The perfect location- close to Main Street and all its offerings, and far enough to enjoy the nature and beauty of the outdoors. The home was clean, well- decorated and comfortable. The outside deck and front porch area, with chairs, gave us the chance to relax while listening to the birds. My husband and I enjoyed the trails on the property. Our morning hike gave us an opportunity to explore the beauty of the golf courses and surrounding homes. Thank you to Dana and Nathan for their communication, flexibility, and use of their lovely home. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful, relaxing townhome. The king bed was very comfortable. Stairs to get from the parking can be a bit taxing on a hot day, but should not detract from this very nice home.

A great place to stay. The owners are very communicative, the location is near one pool with easy access to the big clubhouse pool complex, horses, hiking, the waterfall, and a very short drive to downtown. It's a pretty and very clean place and we saw a family of pheasants in the backyard. Recommended.
