The Heron House is a fully equipped home for your relaxing getaway or for a fun filled family trip. You will love entertaining your guests on the upper deck with our gas firepit and cozy chairs or fire up the grill and show off your grill master skills

Play a round at one of the 7 lakes or drive 15 minutes to downtown Bentonville and Crystal Bridges. At the end of your day come home to the best view on Lake Rayburn where there are two firepits, a picnic table, BBQ, books, board games and two fishing kayaks. Come make memories at The Heron House. Our family group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed the weekend at Heron House. I revelled in the glorious decor, upper end furnishings and well equipped kitchen. The deciding factor for us was the peaceful lake view. The notebook in the house tells the code for the kayaks and other helpful info. Host Regan was responsive in getting more beach towels and answering questions. She arranged guest passes and I paid for them at the clubhouse. She texted passes and brochure with info. We would gladly stay here again and again!

This was my family's second year staying for a week at Heron House. Everyone loved it, from the 3 year old to the 70 year old to the dog! Our favorite things are the kitchen, which is fully loaded for cooking, the kayaks, the life vests, and the multiple porches and sitting areas so everyone can spread out. Oh, and comfy beds after long days on the water. We hope to make it a family tradition and return for a third year!

We enjoyed the beauty of the lake from the house, and while floating on rafts and kayaking. It was quiet and peaceful. It was also close to hiking, activities in Bella Vista and Bentonville, groceries (we used a nearby Walmart), and food. The house was cute, well-kept, and had everything we needed. It was great to be able to bring our dogs as well. We would definitely stay again!

Bella Vista and close by Bentonville is a great overall vacation destination. Our dogs loved the boat access driveway going straight into the water. 50 acre lake was perfect for kayak and paddle board! Golf, hiking, biking and a world class art museum was awesome!

The house was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed having the dock on the lake at the edge of the yard. The community had only dead end streets so there was no traffic. The lake was small so there was no loud boat motors.

This house had everything we needed for our stay. It was really nice to have a pack n play and a high chair that we didn’t have to pack and bring with us. The view was beautiful and everyone enjoyed the lake and getting to use the water toys. Thank you for letting us stay here and make more memories with our family!

We had a wonderful time. There's SO much to do in the area and this home was delightful. Perfect bedroom set up for grandparents (upstairs) and family with kids downstairs. We've stayed in the area before and want to mention the parking & driveway was so convenient.

This was one of the most relaxing Girl's trips we've ever taken. The house is easily accessible but located out of the hustle & bustle of Bentonville. We enjoyed the lake view with morning coffee & relaxed with evening lights on the water after shopping. Absolutely perfect!

We rented the property for a weekend tournament in Bentonville. It is in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed the furniture and decorations. We did kayak several times which was fun. It’s a quick drive to Bentonville and right off of highway 71. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a cousin’s trip to celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. We picked the perfect weekend as it was 60’s and 70’s. The lake is beautiful all throughout the day but especially at night. We had plenty of room for all 5 of us and just a quick drive to Bentonville, food or anything else you need. You need to stay here!

Enjoyed this place tremendously! Great layout! Hi-speed internet! TVs in all the bedrooms and common area! Great open kitchen/living room area! And the lake views!!!! Kayaks were awesome and easy to access! Loved the fire pit too! And loved the outdoor space with the upper and lower decks and the hammocks! Quiet neighborhood and great area to walk the dogs!

Stayed here with our parents over the Thanksgiving holiday. The space is beautiful and quiet. Lovely walking trails, and good access to restaurants and shopping. Home is nicely stocked and very comfortable. Thank you!

We came for a girls weekend away and our stay at the Heron Lake House was fantastic. The house had everything we needed, we enjoyed kayaking on the lake. We were also close to many beautiful hiking trails, plus a quick drive to downtown Bentonville. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place on a quiet, small lake. The only problem we faced was one member of the group fell near the front door. The big rocks are very hard to walk on, especially for seniors. there should be safer places to walk

We had a wonderful time. This was a perfect fit for six of us. We spent most of our time out on the deck looking at the beautiful lake and relaxing. It had everything we needed and then some. I will recommend to others and would love to stay again!

This was the perfect lake house getaway for a week of relaxing near our family in Southwest Missouri. The littles loved swimming and fishing off the private dock. The adults enjoyed exploring in the kayaks. We were so happy that our dog could join us, too. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and we loved that there was a coffee pot AND a Keurig. Friendly neighbors. We can't wait to come back!

We had an amazing time here. The property and lake is beautiful. Only complaint would be that I tried to call the property manager due having trouble locking the door upon checkout and got no response. Was able to figure it out another way but never heard back from anyone. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to come back very soon!!

We stayed here with three kids ranging from 8-13 yrs old. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, cook, swim, relax, and enjoy each others company. The views of the lake are beautiful, especially in the mornings drinking coffee on the back deck! The lake gave us a place to cool down and play after mountain biking all day in Bentonville. The kayaks they provided were clean and easily accessible. We did find out that the dock next to the house is the public access dock, which was very busy this time of year. Everyone is friendly, so there were no issues sharing the lake/dock! We definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to this area!

We had a wonderful time at the Heron House. The kitchen had all the amenities you'd ever need. Very, very comfortable beds!! The instructions at the house and ahead of time were clear and easy to follow. The kayaks were fun too! Great time!
