This house was decked out for Halloween with out any decorations. Driving up to the property, I noticed the uncut grass (all the neighbors lawns were properly maintained). The soffit on the second story roof over the garage had sections of it open for critters to take shelter in the cold.... The yard was a disaster, the rear porch was peeling (paint) and appeared rickety, the fire pit was large enough to burn several matchsticks at once, but nothing larger. There was nowhere to sit (except some decrepit folding chairs that should have been thrown out years ago), the advertised BBQ grill has been broken for considerable time. NOW it is time to go inside.. Poor shape from the curb appearance to the interior. Poorly maintained, dirty, worn, smelly garbage in the kitchen, master bedroom shower filthy and worn, master bathtub had hairs and bugs in it. Toilet runs on and has not had a good cleaning in some time.... Pots and pans were from a salvage yard, not even a thrift store. Dirty dishes in the sink constantly. Sticky counters, food caked microwave (the one that sort of worked), heat (?) was set in the low 60's for the comfort of the owner's pocket, not the residents comfort. DO NOT STAY HERE, better to seek a bridge or a homeless shelter, not the Y at Thurmont! What a poor reflection on VRBO!

Room was very clean ,Quiet , house was immaculate as was the neighborhood.

This room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for an easy ~15 minute commute to business I was attending in Frederick, MD. Cristian's house has tasteful decor, open access to utilities and full kitchen, and is quiet in a very nice neighborhood. I opted for the room with private bathroom; there were others in the house who used a separate shared bathroom but I never saw anyone and they too were respectful such that it was conducive to me being able to study and sleep without the need for ear plugs (unlike most hotels I have been in). There was even a small fridge in the room which was also very convenient since I did not have much and thus no need to put items in the large common area kitchen fridge downstairs. There was a minor mix-up in getting the access codes in an email from Vrbo, but Cristian navigated the situation well and helped me gain access as soon as I reached out. You may wish to carry/bring a small flashlight if you do not have one on your phone in order to best see the doorknob access devices. Overall would recommend this site and look forward to my next stay.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend to celebrate an anniversary. The room and bath were clean, spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor and wild animal theme to the decor. This was our first experience renting just a room & bath in a house with shared areas. It was so much nicer than a hotel to have a full kitchen, living room areas and even a game room!
