Great place to stay! John gave me strength to move forward and get myself out there, never give up.

John was very helpful and opened my eyes up about living in the moment and doing what you want to do. Your place is absolutely beautiful and keep doing what your doing and thank you for your hospitality and friendly advice.

Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man alles bereit ist zu teilen teilen (außer schlafzimmer)

John ist ein Super Typ! Wohnung hat alles was man braucht , sofern man teilen ok findet

Nur ein Bad für 3 Parteien , wenig Privatsphäre

Would go again any time, enjoyed our time with host!

We could walk to the beaches, very handy to lots of things, including of course the ferry, beautiful sightseeing opportunities, all good! We did not expect that, but cereals etc were provided for breakfast. Very comfortable beds etc. ..... no complaints at all, nice electric blankets (if you like them).

Everything was perfect, very nice helpful host. It was pretty cold, but the aircon in lounge warmed things up beautifully. Perhaps a little blowheater for kitchen/dining could be good to heat up those areas quickly while preparing/sitting.

John was very friendly and left us to it which was good after an arduous journey.

The 2 single beds were not the most compfy but ok.

The owner John was an absolute delight! He gave us lots of great tips of what we could do around town, and was unbelievably friendly. The house was super clean and John let us borrow his washing machine and dryer. There was even a nice and toasty fireplace for us to roast our marshmellows. If we ever come back to Devonport then we know where we'll be staying!

The only thing was that the water gets super hot - careful not to burn yourself!

Everything was there that I needed to recuperate from my adventures and prepare for the next one. John was friendly and helpful while allowing me to make myself at home and do my own thing. The house is handy to the town centre and to the beach and bluff and in a quiet location. The fresh vegetables in the garden were a bonus!

John is lovely and welcoming. Instantly felt at home. Beautiful back yard with an apricot tree. Walking distance to the beach and lighthouse. Will definitely catch up when we’re back! Thank you! Sophie and Mitch

John was a very accomodating host and did his very best to cater for mine and everyone's needs.

The location was fairly close to all services. The host was very approachable and friendly.

I found it tricky standing in the shower without a shower mat.

John was a very welcoming host and was also very helpful in giving us tips about Cradle Mountain and other local knowledge. There were snacks/fruit available and a good breakfast. We could also join him in the lounge room and enjoy a pleasant outdoor area.

The bedroom was warm ( but had opening windows) but it was 37 in Melbourne that day..There was no fan or A/C but I doubt it would be needed too often..
