This was the perfect size for my partner, me, and our 4 kids! I would absolutely rent this property again while visiting my hometown.

Convenient to Cleveland and the tourist stuff. Easy access to the freeways and major roads.
Communication with host was quick for the most part.
As others have mentioned, the stairs are difficult to manage, for even able-bodied folks. One set is really steep and narrow and step rise was inconsistent. The back stairs are wider, but have an odd turn at the top where the rise is much higher than the rest of the steps.
Being from the Cleveland area and in town for a funeral we needed a large space equipped for multiple generations and sleep 6 comfortably.
We understood this was an older house and knew it was going to have vintage charm. What we got was a “not ready for prime-time” rental.
If you’re looking for a rental to stay cool during 80+ degree days in Cleveland, this is NOT it. AC is iffy at best. Even though the nights were in the 60’s the humidity was so high it was uncomfortable to sleep. We bought box fans to help giving them to family when we left. .
There is NO storage in the bedrooms. Not a single dresser or "the like" to unpack our folded clothes.
BYOH. Bring Your Own Hangers. The bedrooms that HAD a closet didn’t have but a couple of hangers. And the largest bedroom had a closet without a rod, so hangers were a moot point.
At the end of the stay I was asked “if we could both give each others 5 stars.” I know we treated the house well and didn’t appreciate the “quid pro quo” feel to the ask.

The location itself was nice, i liked everything about it. The host and communication was very poor, very rude instead of asking questions being respectful about things.

The pros: large home with ample space, oversized table for a family dinner, lots of seating for movie night, board games, kitchen had basics needed, driveway fits multiple cars.
The cons: the bath tubs were not the level of clean I would expect, it looked like cleaner was just applied and rinsed with no scrubbing, and there was used bar soap left behind. The front stairs are very steep and and shallow in depth (as in your whole foot doesn't, fit unless you come down sideways. The back steps are less steep and are deep - however the top two steps are tall making for a big step up or a long step down. This was fine for those younger family members but challenging for a senior citizen and for a family member with bad knees.

The house was awesome for a large group! We had a blast. The host answered all of our questions and was very responsive! It was extremely clean, which is a major plus for our group!

Spacious house with lots of beds, but be prepared for steep steps and an additional $20/ bed fee, read the details. It's conveniently located to the west end/Ohio City. At the time of our visit, the house was dirty; however, Nick the manager, was surprised to hear it as he said it's usually spotless.

We were coming to Cleveland fo my 80 year old father to undergo testing for heart bypass and aneurysm surgery. I communicated this to the host. The check in process was smooth but we were disappointed to find that all of the 5 bedrooms were upstairs, not mentioned on the listing and not ideal for my 80 year old parents, one with a bad heart. The ac was not working and it was 85 degrees upstairs. Reached out to the host and we tried to troubleshoot to get the units started. After messing around with that for an hour, and the host no longer responding, I had to make hotel reservations somewhere else so we could get dad comfortable and rested for his full day of testing at the clinic the next day. Finally the host responded that he couldn't get anyone out until the following day.
After the full day of testing I reached out to the host and at 4pm he said somene was on the way to work on the ac. We arrived back at the property and a "contractor" was trying to figure out the thermostats. I recieved a text from the host asking me where I put the thermostats...they were right on the wall where they had been the whole time. It got to the point where it felt like he was accusing me of taking them! The "contractor" couldn't figure out how to get them to work. The host stopped responding so I asked for a refund made reservations at a hotel and cleaned up. Finally, the host offered me another property but said no thank you, I was done! It made a stressful situation so much worse!

There was plenty of space for all of the family. Was an easy commute to and from their dance competition.

I needed surgery at Cleveland Clinic and needed a nice place for my family to stay. They enjoyed this home away from home.

Lots of space to hang out for our girls weekend. Beds were comfortable. Couple items on the description were not available which the owner responded to our questions..the amenities have now been updated on the listing

Turned out to be only 4 adults. Inside of house was nice. Stairs to go upstairs were narrow a little hard for older adults. It was only 55 degrees when we arrived and it took a while for the house to warm up. Also the water was only Luke warm and after 2 people showered there was no hot water

Our stay was good. The interior of house was as expected. Plenty of rooms/beds for our group. The stairs were SO steep in front of house and the railing in back stairs was broken. Carpet needs cleaning. Beds super comfortable, pillows not so much. Overall, convenient and affordable for a quick trip.

The house was nice on the inside but the neighborhood did not feel safe. The traffic noise was from the street that is right out front of the house and it went all through the night. At 4 a.m., the neighbor started honking their horn and it went on for awhile. If you are traveling with people that struggle with stairs, the stairway going to the second floor is steep.

The house was clean and very spacious. A good place to stay for a large group. The host was very quick with responses. House had everything we needed while staying in Cleveland. Less than 10 miles to Cleveland Clinic. Plenty of restaurants near by. Old neighborhood but seemed family friendly. Quiet area but at night you can hear the noise of the city. All in all a nice rental for a good price.

It is an older home with some small imperfections, but I think that only added to it's charm. The house is beautiful (the pictures don't do it justice) and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for all of us. I would definitely stay here again.

There were 10 adults in our group and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. There is also plenty of room for gathering. Beautiful living room and kitchen and GREAT hosts!

We loved the place and enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised, lots of space, plenty of bedrooms, well equipped kitchen.
Nick was very responsive when we ran into a minor problem with some of the lights not working. Within an hour he had an electrician onsite and the problem was resolved. Would definitely stay there again.

Checked in at 3:30 and found one bed that looked recently slept in and the other beds had their old bedding laying on the floors. Soon after we arrived the cleaners showed up to remove the old bedding and put clean sheets on. The carpets looked as if they hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time.

Had 7 friends down to Cleveland for the browns game and a concert, this spot is perfect for a large group, was pretty clean and had plenty of space. Was a little far from downtown but a short Uber or drive, nothing major. Overall awesome spot, would book it again.

This house is absolutely great for multiple families or multi generations traveling together. We had 8 people and had beds and space left over. It was an absolute dream to make dinner and not worry about finding somewhere to eat out with 8 people after a long day.

Unfortunately we weren't able to get into the property due to a malfunction with the lock, so that's why I only gave one star for the check-in process, and 3 for the others. It looked very nice online, but cannot say how it was in person. The owner wasn't available to let us in, though he said he was trying to find someone to do so. I called a number listed by his name on VRBO and it was a real estate business of sorts. They gave me a number to text, and said they would reach out to them as well and have them call me. I still havent heard from them! We had been standing in the driveway for an hour, and finally had to leave, because we had a 6 month old baby with us. The owner did refund our money which we greatly appreciate.

The place was perfect for our needs we needed to be close to the Edgewater yacht club and it was large enough to fit everyone for the night.

When we checked in the front door lock would not work because the batteries had run out. We had to wait outside for 2 hours until we could get in.
The house is in a fairly convenient neighborhood, but it is in pretty bad shape inside, the upstairs carpet was dirty, the downstairs bathroom needed to be cleaned, the back patio was overgrown and unusable.
Overall the house is poorly maintained and we were uncomfortable all our stay. Our efforts to communicate with the property manager were usually unhelpful. At one point of time he offered to refund one night of stay, but that refund never came

The location was convenient to everything! The neighborhood was safe, the house was very spacious! There were some opportunities in cleaning , i recommend deep cleaning days vs hours prior to the guest arrival

The location is perfect for getting on and off the high way and getting an Uber/Lyft. But the neighborhood doesn’t look the best.

We wee visiting the area for graduation, but basically needed a safe, clean space to lay our heads and get dressed to attend various events!..The place worked for that though it was definitely more ample then necessary for our small group. I loved the accuracy of layout of the home. Contact with the owner was easy, good! We've lived in suburbs too long so was not very comfortable with the surrounding area!
