About this house rental

Access to property via private driveway to safe, secure and private parking. Easy access to backdoor entry for unloading luggage. Parking area can accomadate up to 3 vehicles.

Comfrotable well lit living area with flatscreen smart tv for binging your favorite shows made possible with free hi-speed wifi.

Full kitchen with cookware, dinnerware as well as air fryer, crockpot, blender, microwave and filtered coffee pot. Dining table with ample seating and leaf for table. Gas BBQ availble on back patio.

Laundry room with full size washer and dryer, complimentary detergent and ironing board.

Dedicated workspace with desk and office chair. Office can be made fully private forimportant or private phone or zoom calls.

Primary bedroom features a king size bed with premium mattress and linens. Plenty of pillows for optimal comfort. Smart tv available in the room as well.

Home is a split bedroom design with 2nd bedrooom with queen bed and decorative headboard. 3rd bedroom is versatile with a day bed. Double bed on top and a second pullout single bed. Premium linens are provided in these rooms too. A queen blowup mattress is also available.

Both bathrooms are ready with towels, washrags, TP, complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner. One bathroom is a standup shower and the other is atub shower combo.

Back patio has luxury furnishings, patio table and chairs.

Home was comfortable. Stayed three nights. I would HIGHLY suggest arriving at the location FROM I-8 heading north/northeast on Lake Murray Blvd. Once you pass the Starbucks (on the left - Kiowa Dr.) and then Maryland Ave, be prepared for a LEFT TURN at the next street which will allow you a direct entry into the very narrow driveway.

This place is great and very comfortable. It is located in a great place near the highway. It is near everything. It seems like is within 15 minutes of every attraction in San Diego The property manager is awesome is always making sure your are comfortable. I will stay here again on my next visit. I recommend it to anyone visiting S. California

The driveway is not good at all. Low cars hit the bottom every time. You can only get into it one way and it’s dangerous. The house was clean, but the floors on one side were very old, cracked around the toilet and shiny. So in the bathroom we made sure to put towels down when getting out of the shower. We went to sit out in the patio, it was dirty dusty and looked like it hadn’t been swept for some time . There was no kitchen towel and we couldn’t find one? The noise level is bad if you had to open the windows in the street side. If it wasn’t mentioned everything else was good.

Clean and comfortable with a great host. An older home but with nice upgrades and newer furnishings and linens; we loved having a second bathroom with a larger family. Really close to some excellent parks, a gas station, and groceries. We really enjoyed Smokey and the Brisket BBQ practically right across the street (quite a few other food options nearby).

This is not a property for you if you are picky or squeamish. I was very perplexed about these other five star reviews upon arrival. The beds were good and sheets and towels were clean and there are, indeed, huge TV's, but everything else was sub-optimal. (Wait,the patio furniture was also nice.) The house was not very clean and had many funky features that were concerning rather than kitchy. No one mentions the crazy, difficult turn into the property (not a deal breaker, but would sure be nice to know!) or the fact that the property is on a very busy street right up against the traffic noise. Four different women thought it would be a good idea to wash the dishes before we used them! In many years of staying in vrbo's, I've never felt like I should step out of the shower onto my flip flops as I did here. I also received a confusing array of messages, some from the actual host and others from an automatic account that referred to different properties. How could we put dishes in the dishwasher when there was not one? There WAS no ring doorbell on the front. There was not a gate code. It was not a quiet neighborhood that would have been disturbed by a party...no one would have heard a party at all, only the neglected dogs that were barking in an empty yard next door and made us sad.

This property is well maintained with all of the amenities one could need for a stay in San Diego. The location is a short jaunt to SDSU, which is convenient for what we were looking for. I'll need to explore the BBQ joint a block away the next time I'm in town!

Honestly, didn’t spend much time at the VRBO it was more so just a place for my friends and I to have somewhere to rest our heads while we were out in SD and it really did the job!! The beds were sooo comfy and TV’s are HUGE. Thanks so much for the stay!

We rented Matthew's home when my son graduated from boot camp. The house was perfect for our large family. Matthew was quick to provide all necessary information. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Location was perfect. Was able to visit family within walking distance!! House was clean. The only issues was the master bath shower had very little pressure. Not that big of a deal for us so we have an amazing time!! Will stay again in the near future!!!

The house is comfortable and roomy, perfect for a family or group of friends traveling. It's close to SDSU and the trolley station. When we stayed there, it was during a heat wave and the air conditioner went out, and the house got up 93 degrees. The host, Matthew, refunded our fees and called a service repairman to fix the problem (who couldn't arrive until after we left), so I assume it will be comfortable for future guests. Matthew was extremely responsive and apologetic for the air conditioning breaking down.
