We loved our stay so much. We moved our daughter into her dorm at Liberty, and this home was such a little oasis while we were in Lynchburg. We loved all the historical charm of the home. So many cute fireplaces all throughout the house! Beautiful details that only come with old homes. I must say the king bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Just returned from a weekend stay at this beautiful home. Although, being there for a nearby family reunion, we didn’t have a chance to explore the area, the location seemed perfect for doing just that! The description and pictures of the property are completely accurate. The beds were so, so comfortable, the house was very clean, and the AC kept us super cool during a hot weekend. The hosts provided a welcome basket of snacks, coffee pods and creamers, which was so appreciated after a long day of travel and a late arrival. Communication with the host was amazing…the best we’ve ever experienced, with nearly immediate answers to our questions. If you need a wonderful place to stay in the Lynchburg area, stay here! We just hope you don’t book it during the time we want to stay again! Haha!

My daughter and I visited my son who is attending medical school in Lynchburg. The home was just as it appears online and fully furnished with everything we needed. The beds were a highlight and so comfortable with plush linens. We hosted a brunch for a few friends, and there was plenty of room for all. Loved it, and can't wait to go back!

What a treat to stay in a beautiful historic home! This house has everything you need for a comfortable and easy getaway. The beds (even the pull out sofa) are very comfortable and the bedding is beautiful and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. Our favorite part was the porch. We spend a lot of time sitting out there and enjoying the beautiful historic neighborhood views. Our son is planning to attend Liberty University so we will definitely stay here again when we visit him! The bagel shop down the street was a fantastic bonus too!
