About this house rental
This coastal cottage on the Atlantic Beach Causeway is the ideal island getaway. Sitting snug and comfortable right on the sound for serene water views, this sweet beach community will warm your heart and keep the fun flowing all vacation long! This perfectly sized property has all you need! Bring your beau and two of your besties and their husbands or wives— this home sleeps eight and has space for even more downstairs with bunk beds and twin beds for all the kiddos who are dying to come to “the beach!”
Besides the youngsters, you might also want to bring your boat! With a dock right outside your door, you will love being able to prep and go— on day cruises to Sand Dollar Island to search for shells, Shackleford Banks to watch for wild horses, or tie up a line at the Dock House in downtown Beaufort and have lunch with the friendly locals in this historic town known for so much charm— and Blackbeard the Pirate!
At the house back on Atlantic Beach, enjoy the salty breezes, sunrises and sunsets from the balcony or patio and marvel at the brilliant sky come nightfall. Without the bright city lights, you will be astounded at the beauty and joy of stargazing at this address and of all the good and simple things that come with just One More Drift…
WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.
OTHER NOTES:
-Ice machine in bonus room is not for guest use.
-Fireplace is for decoration only
-Exterior camera's are for security purposes only
-No smoking
-No pets allowed
-Lift is not for guest use

Rented this house for our family vacation. I will start with the positives - great location. Husband enjoyed having our boat at the dock to use easily with our son. Mattresses were soft. Plenty of towels and wash cloths available. Fairly stocked kitchen.
Negatives - unable to use elevator at the house. when you have two small children (including a 4 week old), you have a lot of stuff. would have been nice to use instead of having to go up and down the stairs numerous times in the heat. there were dirty towels left from the previous renters as well as beer caps in the grass. The trash was already full and had not been taken out. We ended up buying our own linen for the master bedroom bc the sheets were extremely uncomfortable. The bathrooms need an update but were clean. The wifi was spotty at best and required constant rebooting. We thankfully brought out Roku from home as the smart TV in the living room only would pull up netflix. The one frying pan in the kitchen had Teflon flaking off on our food so we had to purchase one to use as well. Would have also been nice to have had access to the ice machine that is pictured - it had a lock on the plug. The outdoor furniture is extremely outdated, worn, and even torn in some places. For the price of the place, would need more updates for us.
