Schöner Schein von Außen, aber....

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Die Außenanlage sieht sehr schön aus. Im Restaurant sitzt man sehr gemütlich, auch auf der Terrasse, der Blick ist wunderschön.

Der Schrank im Zimmer war nicht so gut. Habe meine Sachen im Koffer gelassen. Ablagen waren nicht fest und kippelten nach vorne. Die Schubladen waren nur sehr schwer zu öffnen, verzogen oder was auch immer. Dann zu der Außenanlage, ich habe das Zimmer als Geschenk bekommen, wegen der schönen Lage. Aber die Liegestühle zum See , wo ich dachte man könnte in der Sonne liegen unter den Palmen auf dem Rasen, war betreten verboten.

Angenehm, schön, wir konnten alles unternehmen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Frühstück ist sehr gut. Gute Lage zur Ober und Unterstadt, Fähre-Bus-Verbindung nach Konstanz gut,

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt 😀😀

Sehr gute Lage, direkt an der Haltestelle der Autofähre Konstanz - Meersburg. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hatte auch abends noch ein Lächeln übrig 🙂. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Frühstück reichhaltig, frisch und sehr lecker. Von unserer Seite gibt es nichts zu meckern. Vielen Dank für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Top Lage, mit traumhaften Hotel

Sehr schöne Zimmer, es hat an nichts gefehlt

Beim Frühstücken passt die gesamte Atmosphäre nicht zum Hotel Gäste tragen mit Tablett das Frühstück zum Tisch. Speisen waren zum Teil kalt oder vergriffen.

Traumhaftes Meersburg

Die Lage, die Ausstattung, Terrasse, Frühstücksangebot.

Zimmer oberhalb der Küchenlüftung, sodass bei offenem Fenster spätnachmittags bis abends das gesamte Zimmer nach Essen roch.

Es hätte Top sein können

Das Frühstück war super! Das Zimmer war etwas kleiner als wir uns dies vorgestellt hatten. Aber es war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Leider konnten wir die Fahrräder nicht in in einem geschlossenen Raum unterstellen. Gemäss dem Angestellten hätten wir je 5 Euro pro Velo zusätzlich zahlen müssen für einen Platz in der Garage. Dies wollten wir jedoch nicht.

Die ganze Geschichte mit dem Unterstellen der Fahrräder. Der Preis für die Garage hätte im hohen Preis für das Zimmer inbegriffen sein sollen.

Good breakfast. Nice location. Hotel staff.

Expencive. Parking fee, tourist tax (even for children). Some double rooms are very small, with small bathrooms. Some rooms have no air condition. No coffee machine available - except at breakfast.

Good hotel that could be better

Lovely room, nice restaurant outside by the water. Most of the staff very friendly.

Outside sunbathing area closed for the whole stay. Had to pay for the restaurant separately even though it was part of the hotel.

great location, clean, good internet, good breakfast. lady at the reception was very nice.

i guess we lucked out on the location of the room. Got sidewalk side, windows opened in room, not frosted and we could see pedestrians walking by, they could look in room if they peaked at the window. asked for upgrade and price was astronomical for one night. They only had upper floor lake side. we are not sure if our room is a room reserved for booking.com…also no AC so be aware as we could not keep windows closed to get some freshness.

Very good

Meersburg is a beautiful town. The hotel is in a perfect location, and breakfast was very good, but busy. I suggest going early on a holiday morning.

It's not a total deal breaker, but try not to get a room on the first floor "city view". Your window will be right on the street.

Exceptional

I arrived at 07:00 in the breakfast restaurant , when the cleaning / preparation were still in progress, so that persons had to have breakfast with personnel still cleaning , and the buffet bar still in preparation. I suggest therefore to delay the breakfast start time at 07:15, or anticipate the cleaning by 15 min. at least the small breakfast room. Anyway, breakfast room waiters were very , very kind.

Superb

Very nice location, friendly reception, and very clean rooms. Breakfast was good with reasonable selection. Parking is not on site, but you're able to unload your luggage before shifting the car to the carpark which is a short distance away. Overall excellent stay and highly recommended if you are in the area.

Start with ambition, identity still to be found

the location is great, the view from the upper rooms over the lake is very nice. Breakfast selection is varied and generous, there is also a (too) small selection of local product. The hotel has just been reopened after a full renovation, everything is new and shiny (though quite some bits and pieces still missing when we were there in September 2022). Forgot my telephone charger in the room, reception kindly sent it to my home address within two days. Staff is generally friendly and kind.

The view from the 1st floor rooms towards the lake is over a large flat roof of the restaurant, this should be mentioned in the reservations and cannot be sold as lake view (see photo) Dinners in the restaurant are costly but quite average, the wine selection is extremely poor. Staff is partly untrained and not always coordinated, though friendly and kind. There is still a lot or work to do to give some soul to this hotel, in this splendidly located building with a long tradition.

Despite the rainy weather, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again.

The location is excellent. The room was comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, and the restaurant one of the best in Meersburg.

I had to regularly renew the WiFi multiple times on a daily basis. This should be set up so it's only needed one time after check-in. There was live music in the restaurant during our stay. We would have enjoyed it more if the music was more "international" vs. German ballads.

Nice place and hotel for fifty+

Nice hotel, reopened some weeks ago. Very exiting breakfast, nice place directly at the lake at the city of Meersburg. Very comfortably, but also a bit expensive.

A dance party happening in the hotel at the weekend. But this can happen everywhere. And Meersburg, nearby, is a kind of Bodensee shopping touristic village for retreated people. More a place fifty plus, but well reachable by ferry boats. Has its qualities ...
