Location of the resort is very good since its near the vibrant spots of the island.
Staff are very friendly and pleasant to talk too. We also had last minute changes in our booking and they easily acomodated our request.
Water at the toilet/shower seems a bit salty.
Better if staff were a bit more proactive in helping us carry our luggages since we were at the 2nd level instead of waiting to be called.

Bon emplacement, très jolie resort proche des plages. Belle vue depuis le restaurant. Possibilité de louer un scooter sur place. Le personnel est sympathique. Restaurant, bar très bien. Belle terrasse, avec billard. Nous avons pu réserver un tricycle pour notre départ à 7h du matin.
L’insonorisation n’est pas terrible. Les murs sont très fins et les fenêtres sont quasi ouvertes mais protéger par une moustiquaire. Nous avons été souvent réveillés par le bruit des voisins et des passants. Malheureusement la télé était en maintenance, mais rien de grave. L’éclairage est très faible. Attention l’eau est salé et y laisse des résidus (sable?). Un peu d’attente pour les plats, mais nous n’étions pas pressé. Personne n’est passé pour le ménage durant notre séjour.

Amazing resort with a very chill vibe. Good place to hang back and explore siquijor from. Views from the resort are stunning - especially at sunset. Staff is really friendly and attentive. Food was exceptional - great healthy and vegetarian options. Excellent location relative to other restaurants and activities. Will definitely come back.

We had a lovely apartment, it was clean and comfortable. The resort has a great location, nice views and good pizza. The service was good, they also arranged scooters and ride to the port for us.
A few things during our stay didn’t work properly (trouble with the AC, toilet) but the maintenance guy came extra fast and fixed it.
It didn’t really bother us - but maybe it’s good to know that the signal is quite bad and wifi doesn’t work really good in the apartment.

The staff was lovely as Filipinos always are!
We sat at the restaurant eating breakfast as we heard the non-Filipino owner yell out “You’re all stupid in this country!”, which we found quite disrespectful and with poor manners when you have your guests nearby, joke or not. The place looks quite worn out.

We came here very last minute because I had accidentally booked another hotel on the wrong date.
Absolutely gorgeous, stylish resort, and a stunning location. The view was incredible. The food (sushi and woodfired pizzas) was really good and the staff was lovely. The pool was really nice.
We had the king room, and it was nice and comfortable, the mattress in the main bedroom was very good.
Siquijor island problem (not the resorts fault)- the constant black outs and lack of internet is annoying.
There were a few cockroaches in our room, and I went to the bathroom during the night, one was crawling on our toothbrushes.
The king room listed there being a fold out sofa or something to sleep on, but there were only two beds.

The interior and exterior is well planned, the view is unbeatable and the staff is amazing! Rooms are clean and spacious. There is still a lot of potential not being used here!
The surrounding areas could be kept in a bit better shape and maybe it would be an idea to get a small dorm for budget travellers to really liven the place up a bit for pool parties and stuff!

There were barking dogs all night, no internet in any our 3 rooms. TV has not worked for so long, that the “out of order” sign taped on the TV was faded!

The staffs were too nice to complain, They were very accommodating and they were there to help.
The wifi cuts out while I was working just sad because we were in the room for like 12 hours and we literally just stare at the walls because out phones were out of service and it was sad. The Television and Pool is the main reason why I booked on that room so that we can watch or enjoy while time passes however the TV was under maintenance and they didn’t inform us ahead. The pool was nice however I didn’t find it that clean but twas nice.

Spacious place with complete set of kitchen utilities that we can use for cooking and eating. Good overview sight of the beach and starry night in the evening.
The food they offer may be something that you can see in the metro but it is way better than the metro counterpart with a cheaper price.
Lastly, the personnel were very accommodating to our requests and helped us to go to the port at the wee hours in the morning by connecting us to local tricycle driver. Will be back for sure.
The internet connection in some parts of the resort is slow or non-existent which can be a good for real connection but not good for those who want to work. I suggest you connect to the resto’s internet instead.

Couldn’t rate this place any more. Food was amazing with the best sushi and pizza. Pool is stunning and you can walk straight onto the beach and into the sea just a short walk down the steps there. Room was so comfortable and clean with great air con!

When I arrived, they couldn't find my booking, then told me the price was 1,800 for walk in.
Later when i checked out, they said they found my booking and charged me a higher rate.
Its dishonest people. Then the receptionist started arguing with me even though they had already agreed on the walk.in rate
Also when they gave me the room, the shower head did not exist, so i had to pack up my stuff again and move to another room.

- Beautiful resort with lovely whimsical gardens overlooking the sea with plenty of seats to relax / eat / drink. Steps down to the water and easy to walk out when it's low tide
- Currently they have a litter of 10 puppies to play with which was a real highlight for us and all the other guests we saw!
- The food is very good, big Japan / fusion and pizza menu, plenty for anyone, lots of vegetarian options. The breakfast (not included) was ok, but there are a few better options nearby but it's nice to be able to get all meals here and not leave
- They organised laundry, scooters and transfers for us which was great
Our only gripes are similar to what others have said so we were prepared with our expectations
- WiFi pretty much non existent in room so we had to go to the restaurant area to do anything with internet which is a shame
- It's advertised as a resort but much more homestay feel, towels and rooms aren't cleaned, coffee not replenished, you can often wander round for a while trying to find someone to take food orders to check in / out etc it's all quite relaxed but everyone's lovely
- The noise was the main downside, as others have commented. We're used to places having a 'quiet time' eg between 11-6 or similar. This place absolutely does not and I think it's particularly bad at weekends when people come in from the cities to have a fun weekend. The first night there was a big party in the room above, myself and other guests asked them to keep it down. I eventually found a member of staff who I asked to handle this. They still carried on partying and so I asked the staff member what other rooms were available but you could hear them from the other rooms he showed me too! Thankfully I was told they were checking out the next day but they clearly don't enforce any sort of quiet hours here so be aware if you really need sleep during your stay

Location was close to a couple of bars and restaurants. The resort has potential. Great pancakes!
- stayed for 4 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned once. We had to ask for fresh towels and toilet roll
- mushrooms growing in the bathroom!!
- the pool was nice but there were no sun loungers so we couldn’t really relax there during the way
- there were a lot of power cuts during our stay and it seemed that every hotel and bar had generators except our resort meaning no air con or running water ( for hours )

It was a beautiful resort with amazing views of the ocean. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. The sitting area in front of the room was very nice. The Pool and ocean view from the pool was amazing.
I only have one minor critique. The grounds and facilities needed better maintenance. The pool table and other outside furniture needed refurbishing. I'm sure the pandemic had a lot to do with the grounds and facilities needing work.

It’s the cheapest beachfront resort that gives a serene vibe. To me, it’s the best place to relax since other famous resorts are so big and crowded by daily visitors.
Apart from the pizza that was absolutely amazing - I didn’t enjoy their seafood viands. Very salty I must say. I thought that Siquijor would be great in seafood dishes but to my disappointment, no.

We booked this place for three nights and despite paying in full, only stayed one. Overall the place is very run down - it may have been nice once, but now feels tired and dirty. There were cockroaches in our room and the bathroom window had no glass so mosquitoes could fly in easily. The gardens were also rundown with a car seats and machinery left in view. The pool also looked filthy. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anymore.

The restaurant/pool area is nice with some amazing view, lots of room for improvement though.

The bathroom had plenty of old bamboo with a frog living inside and some big centipedes, it was very humid and didn't seem very clean.
There are big traces of dust everywhere in the rooms so cleaning is really not properly done.
asked for early check-in but was not granted and with the state of the rooms it's to wonder why...
Pump broken several times so not always water.

The location, rooms, views & Japanese food are all amazing but the by far the best thing about Tahanan is the staff.
Peige is one of the best resort managers we've ever met, always going the extra mile for guests. She has great tips & also showed us around to a few places which was great fun.
All the staff such as Claire, Carlo, the chefs & waitresses are super nice & helpful.
I liked it so much I booked to come back in a few weeks!

Tahanan is our go to place in Siquijor & I recommend it to all of my friends! The staff are the best I've seen anywhere, always so friendly & helpful!
The chefs there are really talented and make amazing Japanese food as well as other cuisines (the poke bowls & dumplings are delicious!)

The property was like a resort in paradise! The room we had had an outdoor shower and bath which was amazing and the dining area was heaven with beautiful lights at nighttime
