Nicely renovated property. The lounge and bar area is a cool hang out spot. Also outdoor area was fun with fire pits. Room was overall clean and nicely decorated. One thing kinda annoying was the fridge was filled with their drinks for sale. Had to take them out to put mine in (I only removed water, but can only imagine how many times that beer got warm then cold…prob skunky). Also the chocolate bar that was for sale looked like it had been opened a few times as the cardboard sleeve it was in was all beat up looking. Staff brought over fresh towels quickly when they missed my previous text message earlier in the day. Location is pretty good, quick drive to lots of bars, restaurants, shops, and trailheads. Killer views everywhere, especially in the fall!

We had a very comfortable overnight stay. There was plenty of hot water, a comfortable bed and quiet room. The bohemian vibe was lots of fun and a nice touch.

Pros: Loved the decor. It was nice, modern and well looked after. The location was convenient. You check yourself in at a iPad which was odd but quick. I needed extra towels and wasn’t sure who worked there but the person behind the bar helped. Feels like a hands off property. Cons: The Apple TV was hard to use accessing cable. Rooms open to the outside like a motel. My room was on the first floor so luckily I didn’t need to carry luggage upstairs but that might bother some.

I booked a King room and on arrival, they did not have my room available and I was forced into a double room. The parking lot was empty for the majority of my stay, and I expect I could have been provided a King bed. My staff said they would try to attempt to have the room discounted, but never did.

We did not enjoy the location on a busy highway. There was no room service and rooms where not cleaned for the duration of our stay. TV remote did not work. Staff tried to be helpful but very formal. Breakfast was minimal. Furniture in Lobby appeared dilapidated.

Third stay at property, so we know what to expect. It's a nicely reimagined/updated 2-story motel on the outskirts of Lenox. When present, staff is nice and efficient, but be prepared to deal with texts, QR codes and receiving auto replies when any issues arise. We had a pleasant overnight and enjoyed breakfast from the limited menu. (Usually we go to one of several excellent local cafés.) Our only problem was the inability of onsite staff or offsite administration to refund our original reservation promptly. We had cancelled within deadline and rebooked (and paid again) via Hotels.com due to lower rate offering. Happily, Chase quickly credited my account when I reported the issue after waiting several weeks for resolution from Life House.

Woa, this place is nice ! It used to be a motel, but do NOT deter you. Everything was impeccable and gorgeous. I ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and sat on the patio for a couple hours reading. Everything was just lovely ! Beautiful garden style patio with comfortable furniture. Elegant rooms and bathroom. This is almost like a small resort getaway. I will always stay here when I come to the Berks !!

We were awakened with lots of noise apparently from guests returning from a wedding 11:30-12:00 am on a bus The a/c was quite loud and made it difficult to get a good nights sleep.. My husband's dinner was excellent, however my salad choice was just ok My cocktail was as very watery I usually don't complain.. I think I had higher expectations based on the cost of the accommodations also based on the marketing and media The main dining and common areas were beautiful and cozy and we enjoyed sitting there and relaxing after dinner

I would suggest that you put a sign by road of HIGHWAY-7 with a light so you can see the entrance at night. I would also let your guests know that you can not turn into the property from Highway 7 towards Lenox.

Great redo of old facility. Very stylish and comfortable. Only complaint was overuse of chlorine cleaning products in room. Strong odor. Excellent service.

Property was formerly a Days Inn that has been refurbished and updated. Room size is typical for a motel. Shower was hot . Room guests might want to pick a room in the back as there is the typical road noise in the morning on route 7. Overall worth the money.

Loved life house! Remodeled & well appointed, unique place to stay! The bar, restaurant and patio were adorable and food/drink were great. Manager and all staff were friendly & helpful. Will stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. There is a lovely outdoor space for sitting and the lobby is very nicely done. They offer breakfast and dinner but we did not eat there so can’t comment on the food. Our room was newly renovated and very pleasant. The hotel is very close to Tanglewood which we love.

The service and overall appearance were wonderful. There were a lot of small things that kept adding up: no place to lock up bikes, had to change rooms because the air conditioner didn't work, next room it was either freezing or hot, freezer unuseable because it was never defrosted, closet doors squeaked so loudly you couldn't open if other person was sleeping.

Room was very small and damp - needs dehumidifier badly. Floors were wet (both room and bath). No fan in bathroom, so nothing dried, ever. Beds were very soft and small. Furniture was dated. Common room in bar area was lovely. Very overpriced for quality.

The staff was friendly, but it was a motel and not a hotel. The furniture was basic and old. It was lacking a phone, coffee maker, or clock. The air conditioning ran constantly, and we had to shut it off so we could sleep because of the noise. It was significantly overpriced for the type of facility.

Unbelievably friendly staff...very warm and helpful. the lobby is gorgeous...quite old world and full of atmosphere with lots of cool comfy seating options. Only challenge was a slightly overactive Air Conditioner, but not a biggie. I'd be very happy to return here!!!

We wanted to have a glass of wine at 8:30. There were other people drinking and the man behind the bar said you were closed. We at least wanted to have a glass and bring it back to our rooms but it wasn’t an option. Poor customer service.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Our room had an issue with the water in the bathroom sink being connected Ted incorrectly, so he cold water was hot and the hit cold. The TV had a small Apple Remote sitting out.. The remote only controlled a few functions, so the TV wasn’t usable. It wasn’t until the morning that at we found a second remote on a shelf inside a bedside nightstand.
