Not just a pleasant surprise, but an outstanding hotel with a fantastic bar. Clean and Modern with comfortable beds and good amenities. Usually I stay In Bango when I’m up this way, but maybe this is my new spot.

I really liked the cleanliness and on-site restaurant for meals and drinks. The lobby area had a great energy. The most importantly, all staff members were very helpful and had a smile on their faces!. I was not expecting such a great place in central Maine. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks team Lockwood!

Amazing hotel with amazing ambiance, service and the rooms are so nice! We stayed in the standard king, it had a gorgeous bathroom with a huge shower, and the room even had a sofa we could sit on comfortably and have a drink while watching TV. The comfort of the rooms were impressive.

Beautiful hotel however very noisy. Hard to sleep. Found a hair on the bath towel which was not mine or my husbands. Hard water build up in shower. No fridge in room. Mold in the shower (black in color).

Recently remodeled I believe - was in superb shape. Very clean. There is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel but unfortunately was not open the day we were there.

Very nice hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with big bathrooms. Only issue was bed way extremely soft. I sleep at a lot of hotels and this was one of the softest beds Ive ever had. Otherwise it was q great stay.

Room was very nice and comfortable. My only complaints would be that the toilet didn’t look like it had been cleaned well (ring around the toilet bowl) and the shower was extremely slow to clean and the top knob I think was broken. Overall a pleasant stay and it was nice to be able to walk everywhere.

We had a wonderful stay at Lockwood Hotel. After a week of stays in mediocre hotels, it was a welcome treat to spend a night here. The staff, service, cleanliness, room amenities, thoughtful touches etc. were exceptional.

Centrally located. Walking distance to the 2 Cent Bridge and the Kennebec river. Thee was a charging station (hybrids) but it was not user friendly.
