Built in 2022, The Gilead Log Cabin is located in Harriet, Arkansas just 3 miles from Spring Creek access and Dillard's Ferry on the Buffalo National River where you can enjoy fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and more!

The Gilead Log Cabin is located just off of scenic Highway 14 down a private drive surrounded by woods and wildlife located within 20 miles of Marshall, AR and Yellville, AR where you will find many local restaurants and Marshall's own Kenda Drive-In theater! The Gilead Cabin features a covered porch encompassing two sides of the exterior and a beautiful, cozy lodge style interior with wood walls and hand crafted cabinets. Cabin includes 1 private bedroom, with a queen bed. In the living room, you will find a sleeper sofa and a 40" smart TV accessible with own personal hotspot and own username/password for use of Netflix, Hulu, etc, DVD player, and an antenna providing +/- 40 channels for viewing. The cabin is fully furnished with washer, dryer, walk in shower, full kitchen, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes, toaster, fire pit and propane grill!

David took great care of us!! The cabin is just a few miles from the Buffalo River and several outfitters. My family created some great memories this weekend and we would choose this place again!!

Wonderful cabin! Very well maintained and decorated. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Private but not remote. We enjoyed our trip very much! Blanchard Springs is worth the drive to see. The Indian Rock House trail was challenging for our age but totally worth it!! One of our favorite trips!

The cabin is beautiful, we couldn't figure out any wifi so phones didn't work etc. But that is not really that big a deal except for calling out or trying to figure out where things were. The description says two bedrooms and after booking I asked the owner and he said one and a pull out couch. We went with it anyway, but I would suggest the description reflect that for future. I would come back again!

Beautiful property inside and outside. Amenities are everything you need! Fire pit was nice to sit outside and the trees are cleared just enough to see the beautiful stars at night. Perfect location. Hands down a favorite with my family!

We had the best time! This is a private location, very clean, had everything we needed and more! Within an hour's drive from the Buffalo River, Blanchard Springs, and the Ozark National Forrest. Communication with the owner was great. Zero complaints. Would definitely stay here again!

We went to get away for a 34th anniversary and it was perfect! The owner of the cabin was very nice and attentive to any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again

It was very well decorated and for the most part clean. It did have a horrible smell to it like old smoke. I did like the private wood feel and not much noice from the highway. If you want tv though you have to supply your own hot spot as the tv has nothing. Dvd player is there but my son couldnt get it to work either. But over all we did enjoy it as a place to lay our heads when not off hiking.

The cabin is in a great location for activities and not to far away from places to go eat. Very clean cabin and easy to get to as it’s not far from the highway. We will definitely be coming back!

The cabin is in a great location for activities involving the Buffalo River. Very clean cabin and easy to get to as it’s not far from the highway. We use Verizon, so cell reception was virtually nonexistent, but that only added to the peaceful experience of staying at the cabin. We will definitely be coming back!

This was the perfect cabin for a weekend of floating! We took our young sons to the Buffalo for the first time, and this was super close to Crockett’s Canoe Rental. The cabin was spotless, and we loved the porch. It had everything you needed, and we would love to stay here again. Thanks, David!

The cabin is very nice! It was perfect for my husband and I . It is secluded ans perfect for someone wanting to get away from the hustle of every day life . The cabin was accommodating with essentials that you will need . David was a great host who answered quickly.

The Gilead Cabin was exactly as portrayed in the listing. Everything is new and in great working order. We were centrally located and able to enjoy the Buffalo/White River as well as many hiking trails. May is perfect for hiking as we had many waterfalls after the rain. We hope to return sometime in the Fall.

The host was very responsive to all of our needs… The place was clean, and neat. Definitely a place that will come back to again! There was a gas grill that we could cook out on. The only thing missing was the utensils for cooking outside. Otherwise everything you needed was there

Our stay at this cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed as well as things we hadn't though about. Tucked into the woods, so quaint and quiet. It was close to wonderful hiking trails and river access. This place was definitely what we needed to escape our busy day to day routine.

The cabin was quaint and new. The owners had everything you could need to stay there and even things that were way above an beyond a stay at a normal VRBO. I would say this is definitely not your normal VRBO, just a cut above it. Beautiful, immaculately cleaned, quiet, surrounded by nature, and just overall a wonderful Christian homestead. Thank you for a wonderful experience and right in the middle of all the hiking or cavern exploring you could ask for. Great time, we will be visiting again. THANK YOU!!!

My boyfriend and I wanted a nice quiet weekend getaway. This place was the best! The cabin was super clean. The owner is very friendly will respond immediately. It is in a secluded area which made it so relaxing. The cabin had everything you need! Beautifully decorated! We will definitely return!
