My family of five adults and two children stayed in this home. There was more than enough room. This house could easily accommodate twelve in beds, maybe up to seventeen if you sleep on the sectional. The beds were comfy except the one on the main floor that could use a new mattress or maybe a mattress topper. There was a horrible dip in the middle. The home has a well stocked kitchen. It had spices you could use and many appliances. A Keurig, a blender, top of the line washer dryer and a microwave to name a few. The home was quite large and I could see how the little details could be missed. The gas grill, and oven weren't clean. We couldn't get the blinds downstairs to open. It was truly a man cave. Our stay was four days three night's. Only only one day was warm enough for us to enjoy the club hose. There we swam, played pickle ball, and enjoyed the lake. There was a nice giant chair for an IG moment. And while we didn't have a fire pit at the house there was several at the club to enjoy. I had several questions before our stay and the the hostess was very responsive, informative and kind. Definitely a place we'd return to. There was a horrible dip in the mddle.

I was very surprised at the driveway. At first I thought we wouldn't make it up the driveway. After 3 tries my son (over 50) managed to get it up to the hairpin curve and then backed up the rest of the way. The driveway was gravel, which was ok, but very bumpy and uneven. I was surprised that nothing was said about it. My son-in-law had rented a 4-wheel drive truck as they brought their bikes, and had no problem. It would have been appreciated to have a better cooling system for this large area. The kitchen was well equipped which was appreciated. The ice machine was broken so had to refill trays. The basement was the coolest, but with no bathroom, only one person slept down there. More outdoor seating would have been appreciated. The other thing I would note for future reference would be that the lighting could have been improved. To get all the towels washed and dried by 10 AM was difficult. It was a good location for all different age groups. I would rate it between 3 and 4 stars.

this is the second time my group and I have stayed at this location and it is easily one of the best locations to host a trip, the owners are very quick to reply, There’s a lot to do in the area and the house is very nice and clean, really can't ask for anything better!

Frist off, the property was clean, Ive been to many vacation rental homes but i would have to say this was the cleanest. Second the layout, I loved how the first floor was setup as a game room, my kids spent much of their time in there or outside. We went to the private lake which was in walking distance. They had a little beach which the kids really enjoyed before the weather changed and it just got cold. The only downside to the house is the heating. At night the first floor was really cold we did have to move the kids upstairs because of that, but they had plenty of space upstairs to accommodate them. All in all, I would definitely be back.

Really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful cabin. Definitely will be coming back again, hopefully soon. Kitchen was fully equipped, loved that! We woke up to the cabin surrounded by snow. Seeing the snowfall from your window is priceless. My only complain would be having to wash and dry all towels used. Im not necessarily complaining, its just who wants to do laundry while being on vacation. Overall, its totally worth it and would do it again. The host Kristins was very communicative and answered all my questions.

We had 2 families totaling 11 people in our stay (adults and children). This house had plenty of room for all of us plus more! Lots of places to hang out at. It's a beautiful home, and super clean. The pictures don't do it justice! The kids loved the game room! The carpets were brand new and super plush! You just have to remove your shoes upon entering the house. It's in a great location. The snow had melted when we went, but we only had to drive about 10 minutes away to find a nice place for snow play. We also went to Calaveras Big Trees upon checking out which was only about 5 minutes away. We would definitely book this again!

We used the cabin as a home base for a scout troop who was learning how to camp in the snow at Lake Alpine. The cabin was very spacious and accommodated our crew of 16. Gravel driveway was a bit technical for a two wheel drive minivan due. No problems for the SUVs. Very accommodating host.
