Le logement parfait pour découvrir Santa Marta et sa région

C'est un adorable couple qui tient cet hébergement. Toujours sympathique et prêt à donner les meilleures recommandations. La chambre était spacieuse et propre. La localisation est parfaite avec tous les bus qui passent à proximité et les nombreux supermarchés, boutiques, restaurants, bars et boulangeries à proximité.

Nos sentimos como en casa en Santa Marta

La cordialidad de la atención de Felix y su esposa. La habitación muy limpia y la posibilidad de usar la cocina y el comedor como espacio de encuentro entre los visitantes. Se esfuerzan por hacerte sentir "como en casa" y lo logran! Si quieres visitar la Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino es ideal porque podes ir caminando.

Queda un poco lejos del centro histórico, pero tenes un bus a 300 metros que te lleva en 15/20 minutos por la Avda. Libertador

Private Room in the House of a Sociable Colombian Couple

As others have said very nice family runs the hostel out of their home and makes extra effort to make you happy. Breakfast is fine and their Italian friend across the street makes some fine special order pizzas. Safe neighborhood and about 10-15 minute walk from the best mall in the city. Very good Internet and multiple connections.

This is not their fault as they do provide pictures of their two smaller rooms. I took the one with the bathroom. It was fine and a great price but be advised it truly is small. Fine for a solo backpacker and such, but not recommended for a digital nomad like myself who wants to wotk in the room or long term stay.

Bellos momentos con amplios y gratos recuerdos entre amigos.

La amabilidad de los propietarios ( Don Felix, la señora mirosalba y su hijo jham),prestos a resolver inquietudes del huésped ademas brindan una confianza como de familia,dan una muy buena asesoría sobre sitios a conocer y hacer más placentera la estadía tanto en hospedaje como en región,fuera de ello la facilidad que hay para desplazarse de un lugar a otro por la cercanía al paso de las diferentes rutas de buses facilitan este dezplazamiento

No hay nada que decir al respecto todo fue excelente

The host family is incredibly nice. They helped us with everything we needed - it became our base for this part of Colombia. They are super friendly and even with no english (and us with no spanish!!) we managed all and we understood each other. We could use their kitchen to prepare dinners. Also location is amazing - bus stop to all directions is just behind the corner. We felt like at home!

I loved that is family run, they treat you like their own family. The son was lovely, took some of us out to the old town and showed us all around, got us food etc. Mr Felix picked me up from the airport and as soon as he saw me I got a big hug like long lost friends. They were very welcoming.

My favourite stay in Colombia.

Was a great stay we came back a second time. Met Jan who gave us a great tour of the city. Both Snr Felix and Jan very welcoming and great with history on Santa marta and advice. The bedroom was nice, comfortable and lots of ventilation, the bathroom was reasonably clean and the breakfast (w coffee) was a nice extra. Made Santa Marta one of my favourite cities to visit in Colombia so far! The buses to Park Tayrona were passed by 2 streets over.

Nothing with the accomodation, just be careful in the area a little bit.

amazing little home stay type “hostel”. the owner is the SWEETEST older man and he literally says “mi casa es su casa” you can use the kitchen, the patio, whatever! and he will even drive you to the airport for a reasonable fee

nothing! just be aware it’s about an hour walk from the Santa Marta “downtown” and beach etc but that’s actually nice because you’re in a neighborhood and not in the thick of the craziness of the tourist area

Perfect, to get ready for Tayrona

Felix is a super great host! It is not the typical hotel, it is like staying with a family. I used it mostly, to visit the Tayrona national park. Felix and his friends were super helpful about planning everything, for taking the bus and keeping some stuff, while I was hiking in the park. The bus is just leaving two minutes away from the place and just costs 8000 COP, for go to the park. For me it was an amazing stay, Felix and his friends are super friendly and so helpful and flexible!

Feliz is an awesome host. You are not just a paying guest but a friend who is staying for a night. We felt safe and welcomed. Feliz also helps with tours. He can arrange them for you. And he offers rides in his car around town.

It was like staying with family.

The hosts were amazing, the relation between price and faciities couldn't be better. Jan was super helpful and caring, answering every concern. He even took me around and showed me most of the city. I can't wait to go back.
