An absolutely beautiful cottage! We stayed in Wallaby Cottage. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was immaculately clean, well equipped, comfortable, beautiful outlook and very private. Great communication from owners, very unobtrusive but you knew you could get in touch if you needed them. Breakfast hamper was generous and freshly backed bread and free range eggs were delicious. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

What an amazing little find in Maleny. A group of friends stayed the night prior to a one day retreat in Maleny. The cottage was just gorgeous. The decor was very nice and the place was so clean. The surrounding of the cottage was very peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was varied and fresh and suited each of us. There was plenty to have a hearty breakfast. The free range eggs from the chickens on site were a lovely touch.
There was nothing we didn't like at all. In face, we are planning another trip up to Maleny and will certainly be staying again.

When I walked in, it was a dream. I’ve never stayed somewhere so fancy and my small human said “Pinch me. This isn’t real” multiple times. Over flowing with gratitude to give her the opportunity, as much as I am to Lynda and Antony to provide us with such a perfect little place to reset. We’re already planning a broader family holiday here!
The drive way is quite steep (I’m sure the owners would be able to accommodate if you called ahead with concerns, they are beautiful!).

Outstanding property, beautifully equipped, everything has been thought of. There was not a single thing we were dissatisfied with. Breakfast supplies were incredible. Very private, very quiet, stunning outlook. Owners kept in touch via email. We will definitely be back for a longer visit next time.

A beautiful tranquil sanctuary/ retreat for anyone who wants to relax and have a quiet getaway. Everything is provided, new beautiful modern furnishings, air conditioning, self contained.
Very thoughtful personal touches- breakfast basket of local delights and pet friendly products for the family dog.
10/10 for Linda and Anthony a hidden treasure in Maleny, close to town, golf club, information for day trips to wineries and farm tours, nature walks and local restaurant guide provided.
Best family weekend, Maleny is a lovely place to relax with nature, see the local arts and crafts and taste lots of interesting healthy food and wine.
Can't wait to come back again😀

Everything! if I could give On Burgum Pond 100 stars I would. I stayed the night before my wedding with a small group of women and it was the most unbelievable experience. We walked into a stunning, immaculately cleaned and decorated 2 bedroom unit and was greeted with the most gorgeous welcome basket of eggs, fruit, muesli, yoghurt, cookies. I was sent a text msg on arrival from the owners who offered their assistance if we needed anything during our stay. We asked for some firewood and one of the owners came down with wood and even lit our fireplace for us. The beds were like clouds to sleep in and in the morning the owners delivered hot bread and croissants to our door for breakfast. The grounds are stunning with the most beautiful pond which we overlooked from our balcony. Beautiful peacocks roam around the grounds and little chickens hang out in the gardens. We literally can’t stop talking about this accomodation and the service was honestly one of the best we’ve ever received - our stay was beyond amazing and will be incredibly hard to top!!!!!

What a delightful impeccably clean and fresh cottage. Beautifully presented with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast hamper was very generous with freshly baked bread which was delicious. We just loved everything and are looking forward to our next stay in winter so we can take advantage of the fireplace.

The cottage was bigger than expected and super clean. Loved all of the little extras provided - all the breakfast items, the couch blankets, the spa kit etc. made us feel super welcome and comfortable!

I stayed here with my cat, Mads, and chose the place as it was pet friendly (thanks for letting me bring Mads!), peaceful and with a large balcony that allowed good outdoor space for my cat. We both had a lovely time. She particularly enjoyed watching the birds and chooks from the balcony and loved exploring the cottage. The place was very clean and well appointed. It was an easy drive to Montville and Kondalilla Falls, the Botanical Gardens and Mary Cairncross place. I really enjoyed walking around the area of an afternoon. It's a great location for doing a pretty walk to the platypus viewing platforms on Obi Obi Creek, from which I saw my first platypus in the wild! If you like walking, it's also really not a long walk from here in to town either. The home-made bread and fresh eggs were lovely. I also enjoyed the pastries and fruit and Mads loved the kind and thoughtful treats left for her.

Peaceful location and perfect one bedroom cottage. The owners are to be commended for all the work they have done to make this a great “breakaway” for us and many more. From the food supplied on arrival to the firewood all prepared I could not fault one thing. Thank you again for four days of relaxing in the beautiful Maleny hinterland

This is a truly quiet and peaceful getaway. It's a beautiful natural setting, overlooking water. Birds and wildlife abound. Very safe and secure, but only 4 minute drive to country town centre! And all wonderful local attractions are just a short drive away.
If you arrive late because of flight delays or such, there are no worries about going hungry... As the Breakfast basket of farm fresh food, is big enough to feed an army!!

PS: Where did you find those lovely round shower caddies?! I took a liking to them and have searched online but can't find one.

The cottage was very nice and clean and modern. The hosts go the extra mile to make you feel welcome with a breakfast hamper and everything my dog would need.
I totally understand why the steps are necessary and there is no avoiding them given the slope of the land, However the steps should be mentioned in the description of the cottage. I stayed with my elderly parents and they really struggled getting up and down the steps which made me feel awful cause I chose the cottage and had no idea about the stairs. It unfortunately put a damper on our holiday.
