Welcome to Fern Leaf Lodge! Relax and enjoy all that this spacious 5 bedroom home offers, including seasonal mountain views, a firepit, and a hot tub!

The main level features an open great room with airy vaulted ceilings, lots of windows, a floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace, a big TV, doors leading to the deck, and a selection of furniture facing the windows and fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need to prepare delicious meals and snacks that you can enjoy at the dining table nearby.

There's fun for all ages to be had here! Step outside and take a dip in the covered hot tub, the perfect place to relax away your cares. And on the main level deck you'll find a selection of cushioned furniture around a gas firetable, the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the ambiance of the mountains while you take in the seasonal mountain views. There's also a gas grill here.

Time for bed? Fern Leaf Lodge offers four proper bedrooms and two semi-enclosed areas, for a total of six sleeping areas. On the main level is the master suite with Queen bed and ensuite with shower, as well as a Queen bedroom and a bedroom with one twin bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower. Upstairs in the semi enclosed loft you'll find two single Twin beds, with a half bath attached. And on the lower floor is a room with a Queen bed and a hall bathroom with tub/shower, as well as a set of full-over-full bunks and a trundle in the rec room.

With everything that Fern Leaf Lodge has to offer, you might not ever want to leave this haven! If you do, you'll be just moments away from all the delicious local dining Beech Mountain has to offer, as well as minutes to the entrance of Beech Mountain Ski Resort for both winter fun and the annual Autumn At Oz celebrations. Downtown Banner Elk and the rest of the High Country are just a short drive away, as well, so you can even experience more activities including Horseback Riding, UTV tours, an Alpine Roller Coaster, White Water Rafting and Tubing Trips, Dining, Shopping, and so much more.

Also located just a short distance from the home is the Beech Mountain Club where guests can enjoy access to private restaurants & events, professional tennis, a fitness center, pickleball courts, and a heated pool to name just a few amenities. Guest passes must be requested (Sports-level membership is available) and the transfer fee must be paid for in advance to the Club. Additionally, the Buckeye Recreation Center and numerous trout fishing streams are located close by and we can even connect you with the best local fly fishing guides.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This home is dog friendly for an additional rent of $25/nt per dog. Limit of 3 dogs. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax. There is no refund for unused firewood.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled with a 15+ day notice will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 8-14 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of their reservation payments. Bookings canceled within 7 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

The common areas are smaller than they appear in photos. The bottom floor is very spacious. Overall, a great stay. If staying in winter, best to have 4 wheel drive.

The property has a lot of space and the set up is so nice even having all of the bathrooms really helped . The hot tub was amazing and the snow and wildlife were so beautiful.

We loved everything about this house. Much better than expected. The house is beautifully done, the land surrounding the house was fun to explore. The kids loved the deer everywhere. And they came to close to us it was crazy. Fun hiking trails within walking distance. Short drive to some really cool trails leading to waterfalls. Thank you for letting us call your home ours for a week! We will miss Beech Mountain!

Great house, a little smaller than we expected from viewing the pictures but lots to do, good entertainment areas and very clean. Pretty good location. One of the biggest drawing cards to the listing for us was the hot tub, which we were never able to get up to temperature. We were very disappointed as were the kids since this was one of the main reasons we booked the property. The property managers requested I call maintenance, but they weren't able to get there in time before our departure the next day. Given the cost of the booking, I requested some kind of discount for the weekend since one of the main attractions to the house was not working as listed. We never heard back.

The location is great and close to Beech Mountain. The house is located in the middle of a neighborhood, surrounded by the forest. The kids loved the downstairs area and the hot tub. It’s a very dog-friendly rental with waste bags and treats stocked on the main floor. The dog cage was much-appreciated as we didn’t have to bring ours. I would absolutely stay there again.

The house was very comfortable. When we arrived the cook top was greasy and dirty. The hot tub wouldn’t above 83 degrees.

The property was beautiful and we really enjoyed the friendly family of deer that came to visit often. Great layout with comfortable accommodations, close to some really pretty hiking trails. We will definitely come back.

Fern Leaf Lodge is a gem! Beautiful house, nice hot tub, plenty of sleeping places, and we loved all the little touches. Location is very convenient to Banner Elk, Beech Mtn and the Alpine Wilderness coaster.
