Tea rooms, Tudor houses, and beautiful gardens all sitting upon a serene river – it sounds like the perfect English scene. In fact, Stratford-Upon-Avon is so inspiring that its most famous son, William Shakespeare, has put this town on the map. In the centre of this creative corner of Warwickshire, just half a mile from the train station, your little townhouse is equally ready to inspire and delight. Traditional from the outside, the warm brickwork exterior looks like a postcard with its stucco plasterwork details and grey wooden door. While it gives off a cottage-like feel, you’re certainly not in the middle of nowhere with pubs and parks nearby. And as you step inside and kick off your walking boots (The Cotswolds aren’t too far either) you’ll notice a refreshingly modern decor. We love the bright, playful colour schemes throughout the home. In the lounge and dining area, find vibrant oranges, royal blues, and lemon yellows all vying for your attention. And to really make the colours pop, light up the wood-burning stove for that extra warm glow. During sunny spells, your time will be better spent in the garden, where stylish, rattan garden furniture will complement a cold G&T at any time of day. Home truths: *A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request – please bring your own cot linen *Netflix is available on the Smart TVs, but you'll need to use your own account *An initial supply of pods is provided for the coffee machine *A street parking permit is available for one car *For longer stays, the kitchen lacks some basic cooking essentials – we'd recommend bringing your own *The charcoal barbecue is available between April and September *A storage cupboard with two hanging rails and a shelf is provided for bedrooms two and three on the first-floor landing *A starter supply of wood is provided for the log burner from October to April *Some stairs are a little steep and there are no window locks upstairs
