About this cottage rental
Combine the tranquility of country living with the wine country experience, and you'll find yourself at Olver Farm. Located on the west side of Cayuga Lake sits this picturesque 50-acre lakeside estate. Staying here provides you full access to 60 feet of your own private lakefront just across the road and down a stone path through a lush grassy yard. Along with cherry orchards, private pond with covered seating, and beautiful shaded lawn alongside a natural creek bed. Spend the day touring nearby wineries on both Cayuga and Seneca Lake Wine Trails, then find your favorite space on the estate to uncork and unwind.
This quaint two-bedroom guesthouse provides you with all comforts you will need during your stay. Inside you will find a comfortable open living and dining area equipped with an efficiency kitchen which includes cooktop, microwave, full size refrigerator, Keurig coffee pot and tea kettle. The gathering space is plenty large enough to entertain a group of four with lush sofas and large flat screen TV.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms with Queen-size luxury beds, both with attached private bathrooms including modern showers.
Take full advantage of this one-of-a-kind setting. Start your day with quiet meditation next to the pond or a morning stroll along the countryside overlooking Cayuga Lake. Cool off on a hot day in the crystal waters of Cayuga Lake where your private beach is complete with Adirondack chairs and a firepit for watching the stars reflect off the evening lake.
Exploring Finger Lakes wine country couldn't be easier than from this location. Within 10 miles you have access to a dozen award-winning wineries including Hosmer, Thirsty Owl, Knapp, and the infamous Three Brothers Winery and Brewery. For any history buffs, Seneca Falls is also a short drive to frequent the Women's Rights National Historical Park or the inspiration location of the iconic It's a Wonderful Life movie and annual festival.

We enjoyed our late August stay in the Finger Lakes Region. The location was great for visiting Watkins Glen State Park, Ithaca, and Corning. The property is beautiful overlooking the lake. Lots of places to sit outside. The home was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed.

The layout of the property is perfect for two couples who want to be close to the water and have access to the heart of the Cayuga & Seneca wine trails. Our hosts were extremely kind and we hope to stay again!

My wife and I enjoyed a weekend trip in the Finger Lakes. The guest house was perfect for our late fall trip. Very convenient to popular wineries and not to far to Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Geneva. The guest house was very clean and updated with all modern conveniences. The property was very quiet and we hope to make many more trips here in the future.

This was a lovely place to stay. Comfortable, quiet, with beautiful grounds. Views of the lake, several places to sit outside. We would definitely stay here again.

This home is clean and very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful grounds. Traffic on road is pretty risky for walking to wineries, at least for us ladies. Be aware that the attached house creates some noise. (T.V and talking). Overall we had a great time.

Very nice property and extremely clean and convenient. Had a wonderful time. Would have given the property 5 stars but I am 6'4" and i bumped my head on the upstairs slanted ceilings at least a dozen times.

Wonderful property! Completely updated and well appointed. Beautiful property (cherry trees, quiet meadow, grassy fields, yet right across the street from Cayuga Lake with private beach access). Owners are the friendliest, sweetest people and live on property, but across the street so never felt any intrusion. Attention paid to every detail inside and outside. Highly recommend this property.

First of all, Lisa and Neil are amazing and extremely nice hosts! You go through their property manager to book, but they live near by and ensure there are no issues with your stay! The property is amazing! The guest house itself is spacious and uses the space so well. The rooms are big, bathrooms in each. The scenery on property is amazing enough, but then venture down to your private lake front area and experience peace and relaxation on beautiful Cayuga Lake! One other note, we lost power the first night due to weather and a whole house generator kicked on!! What a perk! The owners still stopped by to make sure we were good as they didn’t even have power in their own cottage! Don’t think about it, book now! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you again Lisa and Neil!

The cottage was extremely clean and well-maintained. No surprises! The property is easily walkable with a very pretty pond.
You can see Lake Cayuga from the cottage. There is a small beachfront with a fire pit.
Overall, relaxing and comfortable stay!

What a fantastic experience! This property is beautifully situated with a fantastic view of the lake and manicured grounds. Ideal location for visiting wineries and other local attractions. Amazing attention to detail has been given to this property to create a comfortable, seamless stay. We enjoyed our time here so much! Highly recommend!

Everything about this rental property was just right. The home was beautifully appointed and clean. The location was central to Lake Cayuga and Seneca. The owners live on property and were very friendly and accommodating. The price was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Everything was perfect! The cottage was beautifully furnished and exceeded our expectations. The views were amazing and being able to sit by the lake and enjoy nature was so relaxing.

This brand new cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated; a great starting point for visiting family in Auburn and the Cayuga wineries. Bedrooms are very roomy and really like the en suite bathrooms.
