First I have to say Riley was great with answering questions, helpful and quick to respond back. Riley gets 5 stars without a doubt. The location is really good however, the room could use a few updates. The keypad lock on the door takes a little work to get it to open and lock back. We have similar locks on our houses without any issues. The kitchen was clean and stocked with essentials like soap, Kcups and cleaning supplies. Helpful binder is on the table to Welcome you. It’s looks super cute throughout the rooms with the decor. The cute couch needs to have the cushions replaced. The bathrooms appear to be clean overall but, the baseboards had a build up of dust and hair. The same is true for the bathroom cabinet drawers that I couldn’t use. The bathroom off the kitchen has a farm rolling door that does not give a lot of privacy. Tons of closet space to use with extra towels/blankets. Both bedrooms had dust build up on the fans and our room had some kind of previous spill on the wall with dust build up on it too. Overall we rated the stay a 4 but, that’s primarily due to Riley’s responses and the location.

The condo was lovely and in a very easy location for wineries and downtown. Walkable to downtown if you are open to a couple mile jaunt. There is a great walking/running/biking trail right off the parking lot! This is a 2nd floor unit and the elevator did go down for a portion of our stay so make sure you are with people who can handle stairs just in case! But we had a lovely time and would definitely stay again!

Our party of four spends a weekend in Traverse City every year in September to celebrate our anniversary month. We spend a lot of time researching our options as one member of our group has MS and limited mobility. We would not have rented a second floor unit if there was no elevator. Sadly, the elevator at Trailside 45 worked when we arrived and when we left for dinner, but upon returning later in the evening, we found the elevator closed and out of order. Hoping it would be fixed in the morning, the gentleman with MS painstakingly and dangerously made his way up the stairs with our assistance. We were advised late afternoon the next day that the elevator would not be fixed for a couple of days. Totally unacceptable and unsatisfactory experience! We want our money back!
