We had a great time here and would come back!

The property was excellent, the host was very responsive when we needed and provided us with relevant information. The flat was clean and we felt very welcomed.

The noise level during the night from the neighbours was a bit of an issue a couple of nights in a row.

Absolutely amazing stay in Funchal

Все було просто чудово. Це одне з найкращих помешкань, в яких зупинялася наша родина. Власна територія із воротами і паркінгом, вид на місто і океан. Та й взагалі і сам будинок, і обладнання у ньому, і меблі, і сантехніка і т.д. - все нове, справне. Видно, що хазяїва добре стежать за станом речей і вчасно їх лагодять/замінюють. Окрім цього у помешканні були передбачені речі для зручності ведення побуту (білизна, рушники, пакети для сміття, миючі засоби, посуд, сіль, перець, олія, кава, чай і т.д.). Окремої уваги заслуговє довідник, я кому можна знайти усю необхідну інформацію для туристів (де поїсти, як дістатися до різних місць, скільки що коштує і т.п.). Спілкування із власником було максимально просте і комфортне. Не шкодуємо жодного заплаченого євро.

Без коментарів. Можна було б сказати, що помешкання знаходиться на горі далеченько від центру Фуншала, але з іншого боку саме завдяки цьому там такий прексрасний вид на місто, а таксі коштує буквально копійки.

Everything you could want.

Fantastic location, bus-stop right outside with plenty of buses. New, nice and clean apartment, very spacious with a great view over the city and ocean. Excellent hosts. They showed us around the apartment, explained how to best get around and there was a very informative folder with ideas for places to eat, how the bus work and so on.

Sometimes, it was very easy to hear the neighbours in the next apartment in the mornings, which made it hard to sleep in. Never a problem during the late hours, everyone respected the rules about no noise late at night. The bed is quite hard, which my husband loved but was a bit rough for me.

Séjour incroyable!

Nous recommandons vraiment cet appartement, tout était absolument parfait! L’accueil incroyable d’Alex avec ses bons conseils - des fruits et du pain frais - du café - la propreté de l’endroit - la vue absolument magnifique - à deux pas de l’arrêt de bus pour le transport en commun. Nous avons adoré notre séjour!

Spectacular view on Funchal

We simply loved it and it way exceeded our expectation The view was spectacular und having a glas of wine, sitting on the balcony and watching the cruise ships from a distance is just holiday. The apartment is very well equipped, even coffee capsules, water, fruits and delicious bred has been waiting for us. But for us most strikingly was the warm hospitality of Andrea and Alex, the siblings running the apartment house. You feel so welcome and we were so greatly taken care of.Thank you😊

Veldig fint og ryddig

Veldig rent og ryddig! Verten tok i mot oss ved ankomst og ga en god gjennomgang av leiligheten. Leiligheten ligger nært et veldig bra bakeri og har matbutikk rett atme. Veldig fin utsikt fra balkongen!

Vær forberedt på at det er bare bakker i nærheten..men fint for joggeturer

For us it was definitely the best choice. I would rebook the same apartment for next time.

The owner was very friendly and briefed us good to the apartment. To the facilities in the apartment. House rules and how everything works. And gave us some very good tips for the City of Funchal and the Island in general.

Even if at night the temperature cools down a lot, at night before sleep on hot days it is pretty hot in the apartment.

Superb

Lovely new apartment close to Botanical Gardens with a fabulous view of Funchal and the sea. Clean quiet and very comfortable. All mod cons. Close to supermarkets,bakery, greengrocer and bus stop. Highly recommended.

Strongly recommended!

Ideal place to stay in Funchal with stunning view at the city and the ocean! We were lucky to have the Apartment on the top. The apartment was perfect equipped. Dona I Apartment is also located very well, near to bus stop and some small grocery shops where you can buy anything you may need. There is also wonderful bakery in the neighbourhood. In the area of the house there is parking where you can leave your car. And last but not least - the hosts Andreina and Alexander were so nice and always ready to support!

Lovely modern place in a beautiful location

We had an absolutely wonderful time while staying 10 nights in one of the apartments during our June vacation. The apartment is spacious, came with a garden and fully equipped kitchen (even a smoothie maker!) which we enjoyed a lot. All was modern, clean and really new. Andreina and Alex were outsanding hosts, provided us with many tips for hiking, entertainment, restauants, sightseeing. We truly lacked nothing wheb it came to amenities and information. I can definitely recommend staying here while in Funchal.

Only thing that bothered us occasionally was the tap in the shower which no matter how you tried to adjust is too a comfortable temperature, was either too hot or too cold. And when someone opened the tap in the kitchen or the washing machine was on… yikes, then you got a bunch of burning hot water coming down at you.

We were very happy with our accommodations.

From the moment we arrived with someone waiting for us unexpectedly. He gave us a thorough walk though on the apartment. The apartment was very clean. Almost like new. It had everything that we could want to accommodate our cooking needs. The staff is excellent. They helped us reserve transportation to airport upon our departure. We were very happy with the whole stay.

The only draw back was there was no air conditionoing.

The house was stunning. Everything was new and fully equpied. The view from balcony was great. The host also was very friendly.

I would have recommend install a/c or mosquito net in windows. When nights will get warmer it would be useful.

Best stay so far!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this amazing place! The apartment is very spacious and you can find everything what you may need during your stay. A big bonus is a private parking with the gates. The hosts are very friendly and kind, and can answer to any of your questions. Also, since we were staying here on my birthday, they left a very nice surprise which was such a nice gesture. We cannot say anything bad about this place as we liked absolutely everything and hopefully we will be able to come back here one day again. View from the apartment is stunning too! If you are looking for a place where you will feel like staying at home, do not look any further and book your stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Superb

The hosts were friendly, prompt and helpful. The accommodation was in a location with view on the centre of Funchal and the harbour, also very close to the botanical gardens. Great access to small supermarket and bakery and to the centre on foot in about 25 mins.

Relaxing!

Excellent location right next to the Botanical Gardens with superb views over Funchal and the Atlantic. The apartment was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The facilities were excellent with high quality and extensive cooking facilities, large fridge-freezer and a washing machine. A dedicated parking spot was included in a secured car park. Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful both before are arrival and during our stay. Bus service was excellent and departed from just outside the apartment. It was also only a five minute walk to the cable car to Monte. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend!

wonderful, well arranged, cozy and large apartment

Owners - extremely helpful :) The apartment is located outside the city center, but the location in terms of comfort is perfect Quiet and peaceful, a few minutes walk to the botanical garden, buses to the city center. Rooms very clean, everything is new. Kitchen fully equipped.

We love it!

The view was excellent, the kindness of Andreina was so helpful( on the first day of the year She pick up my family and help to find medical solution for my dougther’s caugh and fever! There was a basic stuff in the ap for our comfort( teabags, coffe, some cookies, butter, fresh bread, fruits, champagne…!) it was amazing!
