Quiet, secluded location far off the beaten track directly on the lake

The location of the hotel is great (the road to get there is a different matter and is nothing the hotel can influence). The receptionist was lovely but overall I have to say the staff was not very friendly or helpful. The room size was good and we had a little balcony facing the lake. It was great to get a free kayak for one hour as part of the stay.

I felt it was very expensive for what it offered (from room price to drinks and meals), the room was ok but could definitely do with some updating / modernising. The air conditioning worked only on one setting which was incredibly loud. We tried to book a volcano hike through the hotel but whilst it was in the tour booklet we just could not get an answer as to the costs, timings etc. The staff overall was the least friendly compared to all other hotels we stayed at in El Salvador.

La tranquilidad y privacidad ya dentro de las instalaciones, la atención del personal fu muy buena, la comida llenó nuestras expectativas.

La calle de acceso al hotel está en muy mal estado, le corresponde a la alcaldía, la comunidad y Fundación Coatepeque, asumo que el hotel contribuye tanto a la alcaldía como a la fundación para dar mantenimiento a la zona. se debería incidir en como mejorar la calle,

Hotel located on a nice area. Its layout is pretty nice with a few rooms with a beautiful Lake view. Boat tour available as well as jet ski rental. Loved the Boat docking pier/terrace.

Limited food service scheduling. Not handicap friendly with many steps to climb. No swimming pool shower available. Registration office is combined with the bar (not sure if you are dealing with registration personal or bartender) and some sort of drainage sewer smell when walking to the docking area. This was not at the Hotel area but right at the grass area connecting to the docking area.

Pricey for what you get, but hey, you're lakeside.

The view from the pool and tables are amazing, the dock is amazing, the lake is incredible by itself.

The room with a lake view was not private, as in, if the shades were open to take advantage of the view, people at the pool can see you in your room. Wifi connection was not great in the room. Only one light switch to turn all the lights on or off. Only one bedside table.

Location is beautiful, the building is quite new. One hour if kayak is free from the hotel. People who work there are friendly. Breakfast is tasty, as well as dinner.

The access road is not well maintained for the last part. The hanging shelf is in the bathroom, and the bedrooms do not offer much privacy, when people were using the swimming pool we were hearing them as in they were in the room. The price is quite expensive for what it is. Room has only bed and chairs.

Superb

Great view of the lake. The hotel was empty, so it felt like a private place. Staff was very helpful and accomodating.

Free breakfast could use some variation, especially with dietary restrictions. Cocktails could be a bit better.

Beatiful Hotel on Lake Coatepeque.

Great location on Lake Coatepeque, with access to the lake itself. The hotel is beautiful and has a really cool set-up. Some rooms face the garden and some rooms face the lake and they were all beautiful and spacious. The staff were very kind and helpful and worked hard. The included breakfast was delicious and all the other food was also really good. The prices were expensive for El Salvador, but in the end worth every penny.

The pool was pretty cold, so we couldn't really enjoy swimming in it.

Eduardo and Kevin were amazing and did everything above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable.

no maid service while we were staying so had to clean our own room. Lake was in full algae bloom so didn’t get to enjoy that

Pleasant

Staying on the lake is beautiful and you'll have an excellent view!

For the price, the property didn't meet our expectations. The rooms are old and need an upgrade - there are no cabinets to unpack your suitcase, our shower was broken, no hot water, water stains, and had hundreds of dead bugs by the door. Check-In was lackluster and they didn't explain what was included, paying additional to rent kayaks (and other amenities), and just very minimal communication.

Would not recommend

The hotel was at first glance very nice with very good food. The staff except the management were very friendly and nice to us.

The hotel is overpriced for its services and rooms. The management was absolutely horrible and did not want to take responsibility for their mistakes. It really overshadowed the total experience of the hotel. Would not recommend staying here or booking experiences with them.

Could be an amazing hotel experience if staffing was up to scratch.

Excellent facilities, amazing natural location. The stars can be seen very well in the dark skies.

The staff were of variable quality. There was a young male staffer who was particularly bad. The hotel finds ways to charge for anything possible- eg, milk for coffee was not free, even though the coffee came with the free of charge breakfast.
