Harrington House - Extortionate prices for unready guest house.

Decor and furnishings. Tidy.

The landlord and his colleagues we're fixing up the house next door and someone had hit a gas pipe leaving a major oder of household gas. I came out room of my room on smelling the gas and asked about it, they was opening windows; however they didn't evacuate the premises. We went out and came back later. Smelling a bit better, but then the landlord asked me to move downstairs into an en-suute. The next morning, my partner couldn't get ready for a doctors appointment as the electrics had been tripping all night and morning. We fell out over this and she left. When i went to make coffee in the shared kitchen after the landlord had arrived, I couldn't even get to the kettle as a handful of work men occupied the floor. All in all, being a recovering alcoholic and drug addict; this was all the trigger i needed for an instant relapse which led me to being arrested and taken off of the premises.

Lovely bed. Nice shower . Ideal location for football and cleethorpes. Good communication with owners .

Did email the place to send my charger through post and offered to pay for postage but didn’t get an

Thought there would be a toilet in the room and coffee making facilities but there was nothing didn’t get much sleep as we was next door to the toilet and people was in and out of it all night no where to hang you clothes apart from a coat hook

No toilet in the room and no kettle or coffee in the room

Very quiet and clean. Would definitely book again. I was on a union training week and a car issue prevented travel home. So although a very last minute booking, a nice surprise .

Very happy with mattress in room i stayed in, im usually a restless sleeper, and wake up maybe 1 or 2 times throughout the night, last night a completely unbroken slumber😁

Modern rooms. Relatively easy to access. Good value.

Small niggles. Bathroom door handle fell off and also the small towel rail came off in my hand. But obviously fixable.

I loved how beautiful the room was, the Owner was so lovely and accommodating, we had to make our stay very short due to some circumstances. But they have helped so much with this I will be back eventually.

I told the hotel owner that we were running late and would be arriving at 10.30 pm. Inwas told to call the numbers on the door, no one picked up. We were left stranded outside the hotel. I eventually found another hotel which cost me an additional £220. I want a full refund!

Shared accommodation in a busy house

Rooms themselves nicely furnished (except my daughter’s which had an imprint of a hand on the wall above the headboard!), and showers good.

Very much like student digs. Lots of rooms in house with a shared kitchen and shared fridge. Residents coming and going at all hours, and room next to front door has paper-thin walls and hears all of it!
