Super endroit pour passer une nuit avec une belle piscine au calme

Très bon accueil très jolie piscine au calme chambre propre et bien équipée

Pas d insonorisation mais les gens dorment Tôt au Costa Rica et très correct mais les chiens aboient beaucoup c’est le seul point négatif

Top accommodation for ferry / 1 night

perfectly located close to the ferry. Room has a basic equipment mit AC, TV, towels and linen

Perfect place from where to do some beach-hopping

We liked the hosts who were very flexible and welcoming, the working AC in the room, the pool and the overall comfort. Do recommend :-)

The food was really really good. The kitchen was very accommodating to special needs / requests. It had good outdoor areas and location was perfect and easy to find.

Really need more towel racks and hooks in the bathroom. There is one hook there for everyone's towel andx clean and dirty clothes.

Hotel Alamar Vibes

We stayed in the cabina with the tub. Very private and away from the motel. It's was rustic, beside a farm. Tico Costa Rican vibe with simple fixtures. Kitchen has traditional sink to clean fish if you bring some back. with the little tub. The owner fills with pure spring water. Gardens, mango trees, lime, nearby farm attracts birds, iguanas, the Brahman cattle may come right up to the fence by the patio. The pool and restaurant were good. Restaurant owner ( I forget name🥴and wife Tatiana) was an excellent chef, very helpful booking trips, and with local info. Very hospitable and cabina was cleaned every day.

The wifi goes out sometimes in Paquera. Some problems with that.

Great stay

Perfect hotel for a one-night stay whilst doing bioluminescence. The staff don't speak a lot of English but it's enough to get by, and the food at the restaurant is amazing and great value for money. Exactly what we needed.

Not the most luxurious accommodation but fine for a night or two.

These are not luxurious accomodations. If you manage your expectations, this place is fine for a night or 2. There was no hot water in the shower.

Cabinas Alemar was a pleasant place to stay within 4 kilometers of the ferry. There are nice gardens and a bar/resta

Nice place, friendly helpful staff, although the ‘apartments’ are really en-suite rooms.

Clean, good air conditioning, hot shower, nice looking pool (we didn’t use it), tasty food in the restaurant. Close to Curu Wildlife reserve. Friendly helpful staff, who booked us taxis for Curu in advance.

It was advertised as an apartment, but it was an ensuite room with a fridge - no cooking facilities or kettle/coffee machine, except a shared barbecue area outside. Also the restaurant doesn’t offer breakfasts. However the staff were very helpful and lent us crockery and cutlery so we could have our cereal for breakfast, made us mugs of hot water for tea, and made our cup noodles and microwaved popcorn after the kitchen had closed one evening. Note there’s no shops in walking distance.

Not fancy, but sufficient for a comfortable night’s sleep on a quiet (roosters aside), backroad town

Strong AC unit, nice clean mini fridge, very friendly management, very basic accommodations yet sufficiently comfortable for a decent night’s sleep.

Several bugs (spiders, millipede, etc) in the room, window screens behind the glass panels and more bug spray might have helped with that. Room was very sparse, certainly not fancy - price was a tad high for such basic furniture/decor (yet the Ac,fridge, & bed were all in great condition). Coffee maker outside on the shared picnic table seemed a bit too unsanitary for us. Location was ok but the online listing had us expecting it in town rather than outside of the main shopping area by a half mile or so - very misleading listing.
