Wie immer eine wertvolle Auszeit. Anregend, kultureller und naturschöner Reichtum der Gegend.

Mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen, Deshalb habe ich in diesem Hotel bereits das dritte Mal gebucht. Mich hat gefreut dass das Zimmer diesmal beheizt war, die gesamte Ambiente absolut stimmte. Ich finde das Balkönchen mit Seesicht traumhaft und das Zimmer gepflegt. Die Lage des Hotels ist grandios und der Anschluss an die ÖVs (Bus) gut erreichbar. Das gesamte Personal war äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ascona ist ein Hit!

Nun, das Zimmer war klein, das habe ich gewusst und stimmte so für mich. Das Hotel ist äusserst ringhörig. Die Wände lassen jeden Husten, jedes Gespräch durch. Ich hatte bis anhin Glück, rücksichtsvolle Zimmernachbarn zu haben. Diesmal fehlte es nicht an der Rücksicht, sondern dass ein Zimmernachbar stark erkältet war, keinen Schlaf fand, lange den Fernseher eingeschaltet hatte. Ich stopfte mir die Oropax in die Ohren, das half!

Amazing location, right next to city center. I had a room with a balcony directly overlooking the lake! The breakfast was well-stocked and delicious. The staff were all very helpful.

Cold water was not always available: for some reason, the water coming out of the cold tap could be anything from cold to almost hot. (Its temperature varied randomly from time to time.)

Very charming hotel by the lake

Beautiful view of the lake with nothing in-between Very friendly and helpful personnel The restaurant next door (al Pontile) is fantastic and you get a discount Location couldn't be better

Quite noisy being above the terraces of the restaurants. People chatting is OK, but there's a lady playing the violin with a speaker, blasting the same 3 cheesy songs over and over again it's VERY annoying. Rooms are quite small and outdated, would be nice to renovate a bit Shower water temperature sometimes acts weird

The view over the lake is fantastic. The location of the hotel is right on the lakeshore, amongst lots of restaurants and cafes. Because of that it was sometimes a little noisy a night - but nothing too bad.

This is quite a traditional hotel so the facilities are not super modern ... but is fine for a few nights stay.

Relaxed at the lake

Beautiful view from the room and excellent location. Staff very helpful about car parking, since it’s not possible to park on site. Room is basic but according to description.

Good breakfast, but it’s cheaper when included with the room price.

Great location but rooms need an upgrade

Super location and offered a small discount to the restaurants next to it. Great view!

room was very basic and very small. No place to sit. Understand it is an old hotel but some hardware needs change.

Nice Hotel in great location

Great location on the piazza by the lake, comfortable bed, good breakfast, very friendly staff, lovely view of the lake and a tiny balcony to sit and enjoy it.

Nice days in Ascona

The staff is very friendly. The location is perfect.

No free parking from Hotel and the next Parking is kinda far away if u often use your car (But for this parking you get a price reduction from the hotel).

Positive: location with a beautiful view. Very nice breakfast .

Negative: The room and the bathrooms were very very tiny... Absolutely nothing in the room not even a pen... The door would need repainting.

Nice hotel in front of the lake

Amazing location. The hotel is in front of the lake, great view from the balcony. By the way, the balcony is sunny. It has two restaurants, an important thing during covid times...

The room is small, the balcony as well. There was no Frigobar in the room.

Access with a car is impossible and luggage is not easy to get there. It offered a parking that was 15minutes walk away

Great to be on the central piazza. Friendly staff.

Small and very hot room in need of renovation. Breakfast set-up on the terrace at 06.00 means a lot of noise. The rooms are inexpensive for the location, but you need to be a sound sleeper!
