Extremely special ❤️

We got room 7. Lucky room. I saw the reviews after I booked which gave me a scare, but in the end, with an open mind, everything was OK, special to say the least. Bed was OK, no beasts, hot shower / bath, little bit mould didn't matter. Breakfast is buffet style but do come early, like 8.30! Very advisable! Lady of the house and daughter are very friendly. Adventurous... do it. Luxery person... stay away 😉😎

GPS sends you in a private road... TAKE IT OR GET LOST FOREVER! Not come here if you have a dust allergy or a phobia for clutter. Parking is tight in high season. Bring an electric heater, the bathroom is freezing.

Genuine, out of the ordinary place that you will remember

Wonderful place! If you want a genuine experience instead of the generic hotels, this is it. House and garden filled with things out of love. A lovely, lovely lady who runs this place. The garden with pool in the middle of the alps makes you realize why the rich and famous went here to treat their souls.

Try it!

It's an unusual place, i must say. A huge villa, that reeks of old money. Absolutely stuffed with valuable looking antique (chairs, statues, mirrors..) as well as modern day kitsch (plastic Snoopy toys that look like they came with a McDonalds Happy meal). Everything you need is there, great beds, bathtubs with modern day equipment (again next to stuff that looks like a 100 years old). The garden is the same; it looks like the work of a hoarder but evything you need is there. We had the more expensive rooms on the 1st floors, by the way. Apparantly the basement is mwoah. It's very unlike any other hotel, communication was a bit hard (at first we didn't how to get in and once we figured that out, didn't know where to find a key) and i have seen cleaner hotels, but it's definitely worth the experience. Great views also.

Bit more hygiene perhaps (plates and cups). Communictaion could be better.

Charming villa with a big garden and a pool. For the admirers of antiques and mysteries. Very romantic. Definitely not for those who like sterile environment. Very nice hostess, simple and delicious breakfast.

Owner is collecting everithing. Bed was not clean In the Middle od the night I was bitted by bedbugs. Horrible never again. Simple Its dirty. I looked in the kitchen And also cleaning level was close to 0.

Fascinating and elegant villa in the beautiful Kitzbühel

Our short stay was like a luxurious time travel into a marvelous villa. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay there. We were amazed and fascinated by everything there.We had very friendly and helpful hosts. Our room was very elegant and comfortable,equiped with everything and we had a fantastic breakfast in the sunny livingroom with a view on the beautiful garden. The pool was also clean surrounded with comfortable garden furnitures.

Very good

Very unusual, like a museum. Full of curiosities. The room was not large but warm and clean. People were very friendly. A garden is nice and big.

Internet works on the first floor only. Otherwise all great.

Overall a stunning maison de maitre style villa loaded with artifacts, antiques, paintings and carpets. Bathrooms and overall appearance need some TLC to bring it to 2023 standards.

Fabulous stay, will definitely return!

The rooms were fabulous, amazing collections everywhere you looked. Lovely decor, the pink dinning room was my favourite. The beds were comfortable and our two rooms were both beautiful. Rosemary our host was wonderful, attentive and made us delicious eggs every morning. Definitely worth a return visit!

A little walk to the lift but it wasn’t too bad. A 10 min stroll and you were there easily.

Very little info on how to get or find ski buss to lifts. This a very quirky place, more like a museum than a guest house. However we actually liked the charm and character of the place.

An interesting experience

The hotel has a timeless feel to it and it made a change from staying in corporate, sterile hotels (once we got comfortable with the place). The owner is lovely and truly cares about the place. The building itself is very grand, it's on the edge of town so is very quiet with no light pollution and the beds are comfortable. It has a pool and is great value for what you get

The hotel is quite dated and cluttered with antiques. Even the towels looked to be over 30 years old. It took a while for us to get comfortable with our surroundings.

Happy stay in a little chateau, in Kitzbuhel!

Villa Mellon was a unique place. Very good hospitality, quiet place, a huge big room was vailable to us, equipped with living room furnitures, just like a suite of a five stars' hotel. The swimming pool also, was excellent.. We felt so excited to swim with the view of alps..The center of the city in a walking distance..Breakfast served! We felt like living in a small chateau!

My GPS, failed in guidance on approaching the villa. The last 300 meters. I solve the problem..

Well outside was ok but crazy dirty everywhere. The lady was nice but need some help with the cleaning.

I dont understand why is this place offering on Booking.com?! The pictures on Booking.com looks good. But when we arrived I could not believe it! Smelly, dirty, full of crazy things around. I mean comments like "wonderland" really? I never seen such a thing in my life!! I took like 100 pictures of those things. And the kitchen! I felt I am gonna vomit. Never again this place.

beautiful old villa from the 18th century, interior design similar:), the owner has many beautiful things inside, there is indeed a lot of it, it is a bit like a museum,I personally liked it but others may be disturbing.... In conclusion, I think everyone should see it at least once:) kindnes owner Rosemarie :)

Good stay closer to the centrum

The service was pretty good. Location was okay close to the centrum. Room heating was superb. View is amazing from the villa

No wifi at rooms Although we had a private bathroom, it was located outside the room. Might need proper organizing for the place, it has a lot of stuff everywhere. Not a good first impression we got. Value for money is less
