Mixed feelings ( nice place but Dusty room)

The spa bath was great Staff were friendly Great cocktails

The room I was in looked like it hadn’t been dusted and vacuumed The bed head had alot of dust around the rim where the pillows laid next to and I suffer from allergies and couldn’t sleep . Tried sleeping on the opposite end but then saw lots of weird stains along the doona( don’t dare imagine..) There was a dead bee on the carpet to the side of the bed It was disappointing and I feel it let the hotel down Staff were nice

Needs a lot of work to the property Sad and neglected Bathroom remodelled but open shower leaked everywhere Wanted to watch television one night snd extremely limited channels

Could have been nice but the loss of my wife's belongings mad the whole experience disappointing.

Everything was fine, but my wife discovered tht she had left behinda small bag with make-up materials as well as a pair of ear-rings. I phoned the property the following day and explained that this item had been left behind in the bathroom. They promised to check but they never got back to me. The wife tried to contact the hotel several times to follow up but to no avail.

The room had no windows - like in a storage room. This was not highlighted when booked. The electricity and lights went off in our room Sunday morning - only room to do so with no fix

Location was only thing that was good, pn main street in town

Absolutely terrible place 1st instance :Woke up Saturday morning just before 8am, walking down stairs to main lobby to hear manager scream to security guard "f#cking D!ckhead that was on last night" 2nd instance : hotel staff berating a trainee about entering guest room and them arguing about it in hall Bed was extremely uncomfortable and old Chair in room were so old that you couldn't sit on, which is unfortunate as for average male sitting on bed was too high to put sock and shoes on. Stayed in room 6, the bathroom floor is obviously sinking away from floor grate, so hand held shower overspray pools away from drain around sink. Room was too cold even with heater to enjoy the spa bath. Overall not worth the $650 for 2x night stay. Hotel building needs structural floor work, can't walk in room an night without floors bouncing and waking up No privacy from bed to bathroom toilet ( literally ), so either be prepared to share real intimate moments or in winter like we did, leave the room and sit on corridor or go down to car ar midnight for some pooping privacy Rooms are dated and conflicting styling that makes ni sense. And full floor to ceiling, wall to wall glass mirror that faces the bed ?? Only positive is that you are staying on the main street, so central to everything.

A great relaxing overnight trip away in a comfortable accommodation with a perfect location.

The location is fantastic. Very close to shops and restaurants etc. The room was very comfortable and we slept very well.

Slightly on the expensive side for a room only rate.

we had booked for 2 nights but unfortunately, due to family circumstances had to miss the second.

Bed very comfortable, maybe a spare blanket on hand in a cupboard for some oldies, but we didn't require one as heating was adequate.

Disappointing

Location and bath.

Given our keys and that was that. Info letter told us that because of COVID our room wouldn’t be serviced. Room was tatty, metal bed head a hazard, metal bedside table tilted until husband managed to bend it back into shape. Hair ties from previous occupant still on floor.

It started with no ironing board or iron to iron my shirt for dinner… Then, no storage. no shower. walls were dirty, what looked like blood on the floor is dripped rust that hasn’t been cleaned in the bathroom, floors were very creaky and noisy, would hear neighbors through the walls. the rooms are very cold. the windows rattle constantly throughout the night, the plumbing from the above room rattles right through the wall at the bead head. the TV doesn’t support high definition let alone have Netflix or any streaming services. I rated this way too high in my previous comment. would not go back.

Pleasant

Fantastic sized room with large spa bath tub and TV. parking on site was very helpful as the festival led a lot of people to be in town. really liked the design and decoration of the venue.

staff at check in were having their own discussion over the top of the check in process. Slow internet led to a slow check out and the staff member seemed unprepared to be manning the desk for check out. Staff of the attached restaurant were rude about offering a table for a single person and moved me during my dining between tables despite me ordering over $100 worth of food and drinks and paying for a hotel room. While i will visit the town again for Chillout, I wont be dinning or staying here again.

Wonderful Stay

From the moment I booked I recieved confirmation with a personal response to a question I had about food at the hotel and around the area. I had never been to daylesford and as a vegan I like to come prepared with places I can go to eat. I was greeted with a warm welcome email and suggestions for the hotel bar and local cafes. I was prompty welcomed on arrival and shown the restaurant, cafe and then to my room. The room was gorgeous! So warm, cosy and inviting. The bed was so comfy and the pillows felt like sleeping on clouds. The bathroom was beautiful. I could have lived there, it was so decadent. The bathroom amenities were luxurious and smelled divine! I couldn't wait to use them. I would definitely come back again.

I would have loved to see more vegan options in your cafe and restaurant. I was told I could add vegan cheese to the pizzas but other than that, my only option was the side salad (which was delicious and wish was bigger) and a side of chips. The cafe didn't seem to have any options without removing most things so I didn't go there.

room was upstairs with no lift. Room was small. only one chair and no desk. No windows only glazed glass. see through door to the bathroom and no full length mirror. I am sure other rooms were better.

we were supposed to have alacarte breakfast but didn’t get that only croissants and coffee Also the floorboard were terrible you couldn't move anywhere without them squeaking I would also note not user friendly for disabled or elderly to many stairs.

Accommodation is brilliant, the restaurant, below average.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the spa was one of the most powerful spas we've ever sat in. The staff were super friendly and the parking at the rear of the hotel was great.

The restaurant was below average, and the bar staff on shift at the time were clueless and appeared not to want to be there. The tables were dirty and the toilets were also, the waiter bought out our meals first and when asked where our entrees where he said he was bringing them out next (?). We went to the restaurant last year and it was great, after our latest visit we wont be going there aging.
