Beautiful boutique little getaway!

It was a gorgeous place to stay for the night we had a fantastic time canoeing to the beach which was an amazing experience.

Beautiful beach / backwater stay

Beautiful boutique hotel in an old colonial mansion just 400m from the clean, quiet end of Marari beach. We loved lounging by the pool, cycling around the local village and canoing down to the beach for sunset. The food was amazing - we particularly enjoyed freshly made breakfast milkshakes and the Marari fish curry. Would highly recommend for a backwater / beach experience close to Kochi.

There was nothing we didn’t like - and this is nitpicking, but it would have been great to have had a fridge in the room!

perfect stay for relaxed time with great food!

lovely hotel that gives you a personalized experience, lovely food and service, basic but nice rooms. great pool and acces to beach with a kajak from the garden.

ventilation on rooms and bathroom needs more attention would be nice to have some more alcohol on the menu besides beer.

wonderful and relaxing natural escape

The villa is airy and beautiful. The staff are warm and welcoming. The pool is a great escape. And the rooms and their furnishings are tastefully luxurious and unique.

Relaxing and comfortable stay!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable property. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. Really enjoyed the experience of canoeing to the beach.

Wifi connectivity is slow but fortunately we didn’t really need it so wasn’t a problem.

absolut outstanding hotel.

hotel has very nice Ambiente and the owner takes care about everything. the service is very good and very employee is motivated to ensure that your stay is convenient.

The stay was really nice and cozy. Special mention about the washrooms. They are really good. the property is very aethetically done with a good ambience.

The only disappointment was the wash basin in the washrooms. The water speed was high and could not really use the wash basin properly for the purpose

Average experience - will not recommend.

The location was good.

The rooms were not clean. My bedding had several stains on them and didn’t look like they have been washed in a while. The bathroom was lacking in basic amenities like shower cap and conditioner. There was very little natural light in the rooms so they felt suffocating. The service was disappointing. For example, during meals, the staff was extremely slow to get basic things like water, salt and pepper, tea etc. Breakfast had little to no vegetarian options. Staff was also not wearing uniforms which made them hard to distinguish from guests.

Wonderful value for money!

The highlight of the stay was the boat ride to the beach! mesmerising experience. Overall it was an amazing experience, very cordial staff, wonderful ambience (though a small property, it is very well made and maintained) and great breakfast!

Car parking space is a bit limited, need to be mindful of it. But having said that, they did accommodate my car within the property! (thanks to the security personal on duty)

Very good stay in this old local family house with very high service quality

Very nice old local family house rearrange as an hotel. Access to the beach by kayak, only 350 m very funny. Nice pool and restaurant area. Food is good and the service is very nice with european standard. Thank you we really had a good stay

The only point is the hotel is close to the road you may hear some noise in the room on the road side, and to a church, particularly noisy for Christmas time :-)
