Minimal human interaction on check-in. Our building has a concierge who will open the apartment door for guests upon arrival. In order for our guests to find their way around the apartment, I have created a video check-in procedure. After a reservation has been made, I will send a link to a video showing instructions. Once guests have checked in, I will call the phone in the apartment to answer possible questions.

The Paseo de Gracia B apartment is a 90sqm high-quality rental and one of five properties we manage in this exclusive building.
It is located right on this gorgeous and the city's wealthiest avenue. Here on Passeig de Gracia is where all the famous designer brands have their stores. Plaça de Catalunya (the main square in Barcelona and center core of the city), as well as the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas, are only a stone throw away from the apartment. Famous sights such as Gaudi’s La Pedrera (Casa Mila) or Casa Battló are just a few meters up the street. The location is as central as it is exclusive.
The building itself counts as one of the most beautiful ones in this area. It has been constructed in the year 1890. Next to other features, the beautiful marble entrance has been conserved and maintained and captivates every visitor.
The living room of this apartment is spacious, faces Passeig de Gracia, and even has a balcony from where the visitor can overview the avenue down to Placa de Catalunya. Further on the living room is equipped with two comfortable sofas, a big flat-screen TV and a DVD player. One of the two sofas converts in one easy movement into a comfortable double bed. Also in the living room, there is a desk with a chair which comes in handy in case some work needs to be done.
The two bedrooms are situated on both opposite ends of the apartment.
The master suite has a queen-sized canopy bed and a large cupboard. The guests have access to the balcony with views of the Paseo de Gracia. The ensuite bathroom, with a jacuzzi-style tub and shower, also comes with double sinks, WC and bidet.
The second bedroom offers a twin-sized trundle bed (see pictures) and a spacious cupboard. The bedroom can be used as a single room or when pulling out the second bed as a twin room. Right next to this bedroom is the second bathroom which is accessible from the long hallway.
Next to the living room is the dining area with space for up to 6 persons. The kitchen which one accesses from the long hallway next to the dining area is fully equipped with everything one would require to prepare and enjoy a meal in the apartment. Further on at the guest’s disposal are fridge, freezer, oven, stove, washer, dryer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle as well as an iron and an iron board.
In general:
The apartment and the area are safe. The building has a doorman as well as security cameras in the entrance area. The entrance door of the building, as well as the apartment door are equipped with security locks. There is also a safety box installed in the apartment.
The Area surrounding the Apartment;
The guest staying at the Passeig de Gracia B apartment will be assured easy access to this lively Mediterranean city and will find that this apartment is a great spot from which to map out daily jaunts and from which to explore all that this fantastic city has to offer.
Most of Barcelona’s famous spots of interest such as Gaudi’s La Pedrera, the Picasso museum, the Cathedral, Las Ramblas with the well known Boqueria fresh food market, the old town with the gothic quarter and El Borne as well as the harbor are reachable within a few minutes walking (no transportation needed). If public transportation is needed for example to visit Gaudi’s Park Guell or Sagrada Familia (the symbol of the city), there would be a metro station literally right in front of the building’s entrance with access to 3 lines (L2, L3, and L4). The L4 (yellow line) would bring guests also to the beaches Barceloneta, Port Olimpic/ Ciutadella, and Poble Nou. The line L3 (green line) would bring the guest for example to Barca’s impressive football stadium CAMP NOU. The underground metro in Barcelona is cheap and fast. There would also be the option to take a taxi which in Barcelona is also cheaper than in most western European cities. Taxis are circulating in this area 24h. There is a taxi stop right at the next street corner (15 meters from the apartment). To get to the beach by taxi from the apartment would take about 10 minutes (depending on the traffic) and would not cost more than 7,- Euros.
During the check-in procedure our guests will receive detailed explanations about everything that is useful and important to know when visiting this great city. We have a selection of restaurant and tapas bar recommendations prepared and will advise where to find the next grocery store, about shop opening hours, etc.. This apartment is in an exceptional location. It is located one block from Las Ramblas in the heart of Barcelona. It is incredibly easy to obtain transportation from the location via Metro, taxi or bus. The neighborhood is extremely safe and has a multitude of dining and entertainment options. The apartment itself is very spacious for Europe and was immaculate. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large. The kitchen was large and with a washer and dryer, you don't have to pack as much. Very handy!! Communication with Marcel was incredible. Our trip was 18 months in the making as we were scheduled to go in 2020 until COVID. Marcel stayed in regular communication and moving our trip was as simple as could be. Overall, I wish we could rate this apartment and Marcel higher than 5 stars.

Our group of three had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The communication with Marcel from the booking request, through the end of our stay was stellar. He was very responsive and helpful. The doorman was also very nice and helpful.
The apartment location was perfect. The metro right outside the door and taxi stand a few steps away. A large supermarket was across the street and two blocks down and smaller markets very near on the side streets. Many good restaurants within an easy walk.
There is an elevator that helps gets luggage to the first level. We were grandparents traveling with our granddaughter, so enjoyed the separate bathrooms. Didn’t use too much of the kitchen except for the wonderful washer and dryer, which we took full advantage of.
We’d absolutely return to this apartment on a future trip to Barcelona.

We loved this apartment! I can’t think of a better location to stay in Barcelona. The subway, Bus Turistic, taxi stand are just outside the door, and an easy walk to so many sites. We felt very safe in the building and neighborhood. Many excellent restaurants nearby. We didn’t take much advantage of the full kitchen but having a full refrigerator with a microwave plus washer and dryer was a welcome change from staying in a hotel. The apartment was very clean and well-soundproofEd- the gentle rumble from proximity to the subway was barely noticeable, and you can’t hear noise from the street at all. Marcel was a wonderful host who was easily accessible by cell and email. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our family of 4 stayed for a long weekend in February 2020. The property is as lovely and spacious as the photos show and the location could not be better! Metro stop literally just outside, easy walk to Casa Batllo, la Rambla, and restaurants / shopping. Marcel was very attentive and helped us from arrival to check out. Highly recommend.

Marcel's place is a nicely outfitted unit in a beautiful building in a perfect, central location. We couldn't have asked for a better first experience in Barcelona.
The photos are accurate -- wonderful high ceilings and nicely outfitted bathrooms and kitchen with washer and dryer. It's a great place to kick back and relax, but of course there's so much to do right out the front door.
The unit is in a bustling location on Passeig de Gracia, just on the north side of the Gran Via. There's a Metro stop just outside the front door (extremely convenient for outings) and tons of foot traffic day and night due to a great restaurant and bar scene as well as several flagshop retail locations just steps away. However, the windows are pretty nicely insulated for sound, and we slept great every night. So when you want to let in the hubbub of the city, you can open the French doors to the terrace, and when you want quiet you can have that, too.
Location is in Eixample, but also really just steps away from the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, and Mercat de la Boqueria -- all worth a visit although they can get sort of packed with tourists. Get a little further out into Eixample, El Born, and Barceloneta to find a better balance of local flavor with tourist comforts.
Marcel has good restaurant recommendations. Ca La Nuri on the beach at Barceloneta was kind of an unbeatable combination of setting, service and food quality. We actually really enjoyed going for drinks and tapas at El Nacional food hall right across Passeig de Gracia from the apartment -- a bit touristy, but a really nice space and lots of fun. We probably had the best time just rolling the dice on places in Eixample that seemed like they were popular with the locals -- Cellarer Wine Bar had a great little menu (and great wine recommedations!) and La Fabrica del Vermutillo was fun.
We'd gladly stay here again.

Apartment is right on Passeig de Gracia. One block from Placa de Catalunya and one block from Gaudi's Castle Batlo. Although its a busy street, we did not find it loud when we were sleeping. Marcel was outstanding. He arranged a taxi from the airport for us, and spent a lot of time to make sure we were settled in. He also was very responsive through email before we arrived. Apartment appears as it does in photos. The second bedroom is very tight for space but it worked fine for us.

Little did we know that we would be staying on the most expensive street in Spain. The unit was clean and Marcel took the time to show us around the apartment and tell us about local restaurants and grocery store. Our unit overlooked Paseo de Garcia, which was lively. The beds were conmortable and the washer/dryer were very convenient. Check-out was easy and Marcel ordered a taxi for us which was there on time. We enjoyed walking around the l'Eixample district and it was close to the Gaudi buildings and La Rambla. We will definitely try to book this rental the next time we go to Barcelona!

The apartment was exactly as pictured and very clean. The building seemed very secure. We were very comfortable and it made an excellent "home base" for exploring Barcelona. The information that Marcel provides is quite helpful. Wonderful to have the metro so close. We could easily get anywhere we wanted to go and there are plenty of restaurants close by.
We also appreciated having the washer and dryer.

The apartment is ideally located for touring the major sites in Barcelona in a desirable and safe neighborhood with great restaurants and nearby large supermarket. The building is very secure and the apartment has modern, upscale features. Balconies from the living room and master bedroom overlook the street below but the windows insulate the sound so that the apartment is quiet even on a busy street. Beds were very comfortable. Marcel was very thorough explaining all the features in the apartment as well as giving restaurant recommendations.

Marcel was amazing! Communication was incredible, he was there waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment was unbelievably beautiful and the pictures dont do it justice. The location is amazing and close to everything. He walked us through showed us where everything was and how to use it. Full kitchen with everything you need, washer AND dryer. Super nice and professional and even had a logbook with recommended restaurants and famous sights. Would DEFINITELY stay there again and rate this guy a SUPER HOST. Thanks again
