We really enjoyed our stay at Fripp. We’ve stayed at this condo many times. It is very conveniently located to the beach and dog friendly. Joanne, the owner, is responsive. Our only complaint is the bed in the master is very uncomfortable but she’s agreed to take care of it. We will be back.

We loved our stay at Fripp. The condo was as described and the view was beautiful! I loved having my coffee on the balcony each morning. The condo is right next to the resort club, so if there’s music at night, it can be loud; but the convenience of everything was great. We would love to stay here again.

Loved the location! Could see the ocean from the balcony of the unit. Close to central island amenities- adult pool (with live bands), Olympic pool, arcade, gift shop, and small store. Kitchen has been updated nicely with upgraded appliances and marble countertop. One assigned parking space located near unit.
Short walk to the beach through the complex courtyard. Unit has a pool shared among the complex (highest depth is approx. 8 feet).

Unit was very nice and the kitchen was well equipped. It is beach front and provided a great view of the ocean. It is located in the middle of the island and very close to the beach club. The owner was very easy to work with.

Our family of 4 children 7 and 4 throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The ocean view and getting to see deer walk the property is enjoyable for all of us. The owner was excellent to deal with and make sure our stay was everything we wanted. The kitchen is very well stocked, we cooked all our meals. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and spacious!
I would highly recommend this property and we will certainly be back.

The pictures do not do the villa justice, view and decor are tremendous. This will definitely be our go to place at Fripp.

The condo was fine and close to a number of amenities. The HVAC system needs to have a de-humidifier as the bathrooms and entire upstairs stayed at around 85-90% humidity when the A/C was not down to around 68 degrees. The condo is very close to the "entertainment" next door and going to bed early is not an option. The kitchen is well equipped and enjoyed cooking our meals there. Having a pet friendly policy is also nice to be able to take our aging dog and enjoy some walks on the beach.

Ocean view, right at the beach, sunrise and sunset spectacular. Magical setting. Fripp is a very special place. One resident told us, “There’s not much to do here, and that’s how we like it.” That sums it up well. And the condo fully met all of our needs. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The condo is in the PERFECT location to visit the beautiful Fripp Island. The space is well appointed with bathrooms on both floors which was VERY helpful for our Aunt who has mobility problems. The pools and the beach are just steps away. The host was VERY accommodating and easy to work with. We left a silver necklace at the condo and the owner went to a great deal of trouble to make sure it was returned safely. Highly recommend.

Home from another wonderful stay on Fripp Island. This was our second stay at this condo. It is very comfortable, has great views, and is so close to the beach, the beach club and pools. The owner is wonderful to work with and was responsive to any questions we had. We appreciate that amenity cards are included, which meant my husband was able to golf every day! Great getaway!

Fripp’s Island is a ideal getaway for families. It is a quiet beach with lots of room and the Resort has all you need. Just park and stay. The condo was just as advertised and we loved that our pups could be with us. Could not have asked for more.

Nice and clean property. Very close to the beach, 3 swimming pools and a food court. Property is close to the Sandbar (a bar) that played loud music that could be heard inside the property until late at night a few nights during our stay. Property owner was very responsive and friendly. We loved the view from the balcony and enjoyed the deer and private beach. The only thing that wasnt enjoyable was waiting almost an hour on the bridge to check in as check in must be the same for everyone staying on the island. Early check in would be appreciated next time or have staggered check in so that everyone isnt arriving at the same time. Overall we would stay here again.

Second straight year staying at this property, and making plans for a 3rd. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is nicer than ours at home! Centrally located to everything on the island. Private pool and private beach access along with a storage shed for beach equipment. Can’t wait to go back!

I recently stayed at a wonderful 2-bedroom oceanfront condo and wanted to share my review. The condo was not only nice and clean, but it also offered a convenient location right by the beach. The proximity to the ocean made it easy to enjoy the beautiful views and access the beach whenever we wanted. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Our stay was perfect! We’ve been to Fripp Island many times, over the last 20 years, staying at various locations. This location was, by far, our favorite. Beach access at all times, private pool, center island (making it convenient), quiet, and awesome view. The condo was very nice, well stocked, and plenty of room for our family of five…plus our miniature long haired dachshund. Our host, JoAnne, was great…very responsive and took great care to make sure our stay was comfortable. We will definitely book with her again.

Villa was great location to beach access and to the beach club pool and property pool. The deer were the BEST experience and I took advantage of petting the young buck!
Villa is updated and cute. Nice furniture in living area for relaxing. Wonderful sliding doors for taking in the the view and the small balcony was nice for morning coffee. Excellent AC system. Kitchen is updated and appliances worked well.
Bedrooms are spacious and blinds on the windows were great for keeping out that direct light coming up in the morning. Mattress could have been a little more comfortable.
Only suggestion would be to provide a few beach towels and a starter roll of paper towels. It is a small thing but I am used to those being provided and didn’t buy those on our way onto the island.

Such a great property. Everything was as described. The only thing I would suggest would be an upgraded mattress in the Master. That said, we hope to rent again. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us.

Overall, great location. The property was not very clean. We had to do a lot of sweeping and tidying up once we arrived. The outside porch was covered with dead bugs, spider webs and debris in the corners. We did not sit out on the porch once due to this. We had a stain on our sheets in the master bedroom and had to wash them after we arrived. Many of the dishes had bits of food on them. Loved the area that the condo was in but felt the property could’ve been better.

If you have a family with small children this location is Ideal. We did not end up renting a golf cart and really did not feel the need for it since you are steps away form the beach, food, and multiple pools. Gorgeous ocean front view made this condo stand out in comparison to other avalaible vacation rentals in the villas.
We look forward to booking a trip here next year!

We enjoyed our week in Joanne’s lovely villa. The view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. It was nice to be mid island and right next door to the food court.
Joanne was very responsive to questions and called to check on us when she wasn’t notified of our arrival.
We have several items that could be addressed about our stay, but none would prevent us from staying again.
- Closer detail to cleaning - master shower door had not been cleaned; we questioned that the master sheets had been laundered due to the presence pet and human hair. Therefore, we didn’t sleep in them until we laundered them the next day.
- Additional linens would be appreciated.
- Master bed was not comfortable and king size would be appreciated.
- We were unaware of additional fee we would incur to store our trailer ($150 for the week) The resort does not allow trailers to be parked in parking spaces.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay. We are understanding that management of a property can be a challenge when the owner is relying on others to take care of things.

I dare say, I don't believe I have ever stayed at a place that was cleaner. That's the very first impression I have of this condo. Second is the view. Magnificent! We had such a relaxing time drinking our morning coffee on the balcony, watching the deer munch away, listening to the waves . . . ahhhhh. It was quite a relaxing trip.

Really nice place, very tropical the house was very clean, the beach was so beautiful, and the food was amazing. I wish I could have stayed there longer. An awesome experience. Would totally recommend to anyone. The view was beautiful and my family and I even saw dolphins!

This was (is) a great location with easy access to all that Fripp Island offers and recent upgrades to the unit were appreciated. But, the rental amenities could be improved upon. TV operation was cumbersome. The living room sofa would benefit from new seat padding. Toilet paper was about as cheap as I and our guests have experienced. Seating on the deck was oversized such that actually getting four people seated was very difficult and cramped. There were no garbage bags other than the two already in place. Likewise, additional dishwashing pods would have been useful.

This is the best beach in South Carolina and the Condo is in a perfect location. The host (Joanne) is very nice and promptly respond to any question. The Condo is very clean, recently re-modeled with all necessary accommodations. The complex swimming pool is steps from the Condo, in a well maintaining area.
Definitely we will be back next Summer.

This property is in a great ocean front location right next to amenities and the pools. We suggest renting a golf cart to get around for fun. We would love to go back sometime.
