About this apartment rental
Hurricane Update: All amenities, including the pools and beach access, remain closed. However, there is a beach access directly next to the complex on Plaza Blvd open and we include a photo of the proximity in the listing. Like every complex in the area, there's always a possibility of some construction-related noise although no major work is currently scheduled. This noise could come from this complex or neighboring properties. The city sustained hurricane damage in 2022 and ongoing construction continues throughout the city.
Please note the Daytona Beach Resort is undergoing concrete restoration. While there is unlikely to be noise impacting your stay, there are preemptive support beams around the resort on various balconies. You will still have a great view, but there may be a beam in the view as well. Also, out of an abundance of caution, DBR management has closed the parking garage until further notice. Off-site parking is available at an alternative location within walking distance. While this is ongoing, guests are only permitted one vehicle and will only be provided one parking pass. Recreational vehicles and trailers are not permitted on-site but we can provide guests with the contact information for an off-site parking company when requested.
After a day of fun in the sun on our beautiful Daytona beaches, retreat into your private oceanfront oasis. This renovated one bedroom condo showcases beautiful, direct views of the ocean on the 2nd floor private balcony. There are two comfortable queen size beds as well as a sofa that pulls out to a queen bed for extra sleeping space. Please note the sleeping area is divided by the half wall of the kitchen but there's not a door. There is a cozy dining area and easy chair perfect for enjoying the flat-screen television. The kitchenette is stocked with everything you need to cook basic meals and is equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric cook-top, and microwave. The bathroom features a shower/tub combo with plenty of counter space.

Daytona Beach Resort is also directly across from the Bellair Plaza which hosts an abundance of shopping, dining, and entertainment including Publix Super Market, Marshalls, Walgreens, Beall's and more!! This building is within walking distance to many of Daytona’s popular restaurants such as Riptides, Black Sheep Pub, Dimitri's, Bertie’s Good Eats, Bonefish Grill, Stonewood Grill, Olive Garden, Denny's and Big Tuna's Beach Bar and Grill.
The majority of adult guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. After booking, Oceans Luxury Vacations will reach out to you via email in order to obtain a photo ID and an e-sign rental agreement. If you book a reservation anywhere other than AirBNB and your arrival date is 14 days away or less at booking, we do also need a photo of you holding your ID in order to verify your identity and prevent fraud.

Although the premises were under renovation, the condo was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Lived the direct oceanfront views!

Overall, the condo was clean and worked well for what we were there for. Unfortunately with the hurricane a couple years ago, some of the amenities were not open. However, that didn’t really affect us as we were only in town for a long weekend for the Supercross race and weren’t at the condo all the time. The weather was also rainy and low 70s, so we wouldn’t have spent much time in a pool anyway. The resort itself needs some internal updating/touch ups, but didn’t affect our stay. Would stay here again for the same amount of time for the price we paid, but would look somewhere else if we were strictly vacationing for an extended period of time.

My husband and I booked this condo for our annual stay in Daytona for Speed Week, and we overall loved it. The condo was overall very clean, and the décor was aesthetically pleasing! It does not have its own washer and dryer in the unit, which, we were not expecting to begin with, but just an FYI if it’s something you need. The in-resort restaurant and indoor and outdoor pools were closed, which was a bummer, but we were made fully aware of that prior to our reservation. Hopefully that will be fixed soon!
In full transparency, the parking situation in general was a little bit of an issue and all in all was our biggest concern. The parking garage that would typically be available for guests to use is closed, and as the weekend got closer, the parking lot provided was full (partially because people didn’t know how to park side-by-side correctly) and could not accommodate the amount of guests in town for the weekend’s races. We are under the impression after visiting with some locals that this parking issue is NOT within Oceans Luxury Rentals’ control, and overall did not negatively affect our stay in the unit itself. The condo has a private balcony with a perfectly direct view of the Atlantic Ocean, which is exactly what we wanted. I want to recommend this rental to friends and family, but I hope the parking issue is resolved. It’s a great condo in a great location with close proximity to Bellair shopping center and plenty of restaurants, and I hope to see it thriving again!

The condo itself is very nice with a fabulous ocean view. However the recent hurricanes have done considerable damage to the building, leaving it without a parking structure, swimming pools, hot tubs and beach access. Overall I would assess this building as past its prime when it was once a vibrant resort and conference center.

Excellent! Not having a grill was a downer, but we survived! Need to invest in more carts for loading/unloading luggage from vehicles! Two carts in the whole resort!!

We really enjoyed our stay. There were 6 of us, we were completely comfortable. We did bring two box fans with us, the rental agreement stayed you have to leave the AC on 72. With the box fans we had no problems with temperatures. There is no dishwasher or laundry machine in the unit. You can use the pay laundry machine around the corner. But you have to hand wash all the dishes. We really enjoyed the space and those small things won’t keep us from visiting again!

Great location, easy access, bars and restaurants close by. There are hot tubs, sauna, indoor and outdoor pools, a restaurant and tiki bar in the hotel. Room was good everything you needed. Only downside is the parking garage is under construction.

First day construction going on very noise. Card Keys had one it work for a day had to go down and and get new one one day went down 3 times. Wait in line for a long time Sat ,Sunday no construction. Early monday, tuesday, wednesday, Dam noise construction again.. On your site it says washer and dryer. but not in room.. had to go to end of hall to use them. but one washer only work and one dryer work . wait for poeple to get clothes out. what pain in the butt. Unit was ok but the couch mattress sagged was horrible need new mattress. sliding door was hard to open had to lubricate to slide. batteries in remote need to be changed. toilet need to be fixed the inside flapper arm does not lift right had to tie something on it to get it to work. mattress pad and closet bedding was dirty. need to clean sandy carpet and patio we had to clean off sand and dirt. we did like the unit and worked ok for us but would not rent again due to all these factors.

Convenient access to beach. Multiple things didn’t work: door locks, A/C, bathroom fan. Emailed management company. Expected the fan to be fixed but apparently they told their maintenance man to wait until I left. Cockroaches scared my kid. Was locked out of room while loading truck to leave. Some glitch with the card key lock. Front desk refused to help because I was renting a privately owned unit. Management company didn’t answer phone. VRBO was useless. Took several hours to get back in. You couldn’t pay me to go back. Plus my license plate went missing in the parking garage. Filed police report. Officer said “Daytona Beach has it’s problems”. We did feel totally safe on the beach at all times. They do a good job of patrolling and helping people.

My two complaints are with the air conditioner and the stove. The air conditioner couldn’t be placed below 70 which was comfortable in the living room with a fan going. But because the the unit is by the sliding door it never cooled down where the two beds were and the bathroom. So make sure to pack extra fans. The stove was just too small to cook on. It was really difficult to cook two things at one time!
