Perfect spot to wrap up our final 2 days in Italy for our family of 6. Nice and easy walk from Roma Termini station upon our arrival, which still left more than enough time that afternoon to explore (again easy walking distance) some of the major historical sites. Easy walk again back/forth to train station for our day trip down to the southern coast. Host was very communicative throughout the process, provided great recommendations for dining, and helped to make shuttle arrangements to the airport the day of our departure.

Monti was a wonderful place to stay.

Even better than shown in the listing! This beautiful place has so much space, a caring owner who arranged pickup at the airport and met us at the building, and nice extras like good AC and a supply of espresso. It is also a short walk to the historic areas. Perfect for a family of five!

Great location and very courteous management. Made arrangements for airport shuttle that wonderful.

A girls trip (grandma, three adult daughters and their three teenage daughters) visiting Italy and France. We wanted a safe, convenient, place to stay. This apartment was just that! It was close to everything you needed and we walked everywhere. We did take Metro (close by) to Vatican Museum, but we walked back. The apartment itself is clean and has comfortable beds and good shower. It’s old, and worn in a few places, but charming and has amazing original features. A big plus is the communication with the Property Management. Prompt and personal. I’d stay there again for sure!

Great apartment. Comfortably housed the 7 of us. Management team was terrific. Very responsive. Thank you!

Travelling with 2 able bodied adults and 3 small but walking kids.
Serena booked us a direct hotel transport in a van to the apartment. Super convenient a nice start to the trip. They let us drop off luggage early and check in a a few hours later, very much appreciated.
The apartment was immaculate and the location is so great. A few minutes walk to the colosseum, roman forum and palantine hill. Right by, as in right down the street from the Cavour metro to get you to Termini station or beyond. Numerous fun restaurants, bars etc right in walking distance. Right above Trieste pizza which is among the best we've had on this Italy trip. Finally- coffee, grocery, gelato all nearby which was good for kids. Excellent playground near the colosseum but it's a little bit of a walk.
Make sure to hit the Piazza della Madonna dei Monti a 5 minute walk away. You can sit at the fountain and eat from the adjacent gelato shop or take out a cocktail in the evening hours from the other takeout bar!
The apartment was spotless. Elevator was small, but worked well. Only 3 flights of stairs which the kids usually preferred to do over the elevator.
Kitchen complete with usual amenities and some coffee, etc as needed to get you going. Washer, no dryer but there is a drying rack like most of Italian rentals. Wifi worked well without complaint. If it was warmer would have windows open more but did for a good portion and it had nice air flow
Cute little balcony in the back room, didn't use much but would if we were in more. 2 couches were comfortable and the beds were good.
Would 100% stay here again with our family. Superb location and nice rental unit

This was a well appointed and comfortable apartment. Nina and Serena were wonderful. The street noise was a bit loud, but it’s all part of the experience on this charming street.

This was our first trip to Italy and we really enjoyed staying at this property. The location was great and we loved the neighborhood it is in. The property itself was very clean and enough space for everyone. Most of all, Serena was unbelievably great to work with. She was super helpful with all logistics, including helping arrange transfers to and from the airport, and was always quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The property was definitely quaint. Very European in style and furnishings. Took some getting used to how to operate things.

They required a 150 Euro cash security deposit upon arrival and now 6 weeks later I still haven't received a refund and the owner has stopped communicating with me. I have reported to VRBO. It is a TOTAL SCAM and RIP OFF. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE

We enjoyed how close the property was to local restaurants and the metro.
Our only issues involved the bathroom door which wouldn't close fully in the hall and the elevator didn't function when needed.
Other than these issues we were all able to sleep comfortably.
Thank you for letting us stay.

Great location in Rome. Close to everything.

Great location in central Rome for a 2 day layover after our cruise. Close to restaurants and shops. Large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked. Serena was amazing in setting up transport from the ship to the apartment and again from the apartment to the airport 2 days later.
Serena greated us when we arrived with help to get our luggage transported up the elevator to the apartment. Overall a good experience.

My family of 6 and I loved this apartment. The host helped to set up transportation for us from the airport and was helpful when we were delayed due to lost luggage and had the driver wait for us. The apartment is well located with so many restaurants, shops and the metro within close walking distance. The apartment is nicely appointed, the beds were comfortable and the AC was lovely. It was a bit noisy in the late evening with people enjoying themselves on the street below, but overall worth it. We would book here again.

This was our first trip to Italy. Nina was great! The apartment was exactly like the pictures. The location was fantastic- easily able to walk to the top spots! The neighborhood offers everything you need to have a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again!

This apartment is in a great location. Many restaurants and stores nearby. The Colosseum is a 10-15 minute walk. All other must see sites are easy walks.
Rooms are all good sizes and have A/C. For our tastes the beds were too hard. And yes, there is a creepy inner balcony off one of the bedrooms. Reminded me of the city in Blade Runner.

This property is in a great location walking distance to the colosseum and subway. It’s on the second floor and you can hear some street noise at night if you’re a light sleeper but with that you get shops and restaurants down below. Avoid the Carbonara at one of the restaurants next door. It was awful. Burger and fries were good. There is an elevator inside which was nice to have. Cash only at the subway station to buy tickets. Parking on same street near Double Tree hotel. No driving directly to rental. It’s restricted but does allow taxis and motorcycles… Overall a great stay.

We loved staying here and could walk many places from there. And there are many wonderful restaurants near by. We were a group of six adults and it was plenty roomy.

This was a great apartment that was close to everything. There were a couple of grocery markets and lots of restaurants within steps of the apt. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable.

Great apartment with all the necessary requirements in a safe and quiet area. 10 Minutes to the Colosseum by foot and 25 minutes by foot to Panthelon. Great restaurants close by.

We enjoyed our trip! This apartment is spacious, very clean, perfect for our family reunion (family of 5 and 2 grandparents). Monti is wonderful: everything is nearby. Property managers are super friendly, helpful and immediately available. We will come back!

This apartment provided our family of 4 (two adults, two grown children) the perfect home base for exploring all the highlights of Rome. The rooms were all generous in size, the beds comfortable, the furnishings and decor made us feel at home. Loved the big windows overlooking the street. The hosts were super friendly, very responsive, and provided excellent recommendations and arrangements (travel from the airport). Perhaps my favorite thing was the neighborhood, a cute little quintessential Rome street. Our favorite pizza was right downstairs the metro station was at the end of the block, although we walked most places. Would highly recommend this apartment! We would come back in a heartbeat.
2.5
The host, Sabrina, was very easy to communicate with and helpful. The property is large and centrally located, with restaurants every where and walking distance to the coliseum and Trevi fountains. A/C worked great and was much needed with the summer heat. Would definitely recommend this property.
2.5
Property is easy to find and well located for both walking and the metro. Host met us on arrival even though we were delayed by 3 hours and had helpful tips on local places to eat. A great base for our family to explore the city.

Everything was perfect! From the pick up at the airport (70 euros- highly recommended!) to the welcoming at the apartment by Francesco who was very kind and helpful! The apartment is ideally located 5 min walk to the metro station/ close to Coliseum / restaurants etc It was very comfortable for our family if 5 (3 teenagers) and with A/C ! And beautiful ceilings and marble floors! Really: perfecto :)

Place was very clean with great space to share with 8 people. We brought in pasteries every morning from the caffe across from metro station - easy and convienent. You should stay here, too.

Great Space. Great Location. AC works very well. Great options for eating very close. The apartment is quite spacious and comfortable.

We (4 adults and 2 adolescents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were only about two blocks from a metro station that was easy to use and a quick waynto visit The Vatican and the Colosseum. Beautiful cobblestone street. Some good restaurants on the street with gelato shops close by, too. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had nice historical character. Not much in the kitchen but, honestly, we would not have done much cooking. Able to have a quick cup of coffee there each morning. We had a great time in Rome and only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

The apartment was lovely, very spacious and in a great location. Would definitely recommend

Great location! This apartment is located in the beautiful, happening Monti neighborhood, with access to cute stores, small and big grocery stores, cafes and most importantly a short distance from the metro station (Metro Cavour - just one station from Coliseum and a few from Vatican - much easier than walking or cab). The place itself was spacious, beautifully decorated (loved the art!), very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed (elevator and AC welcome after a day of adventuring!). Francesco, the rental manager was accessible via what'sapp and replied to messages promptly from start to finish. I would recommend you try the Trieste restaurant (on the same street, excellent service and food) and Fatamorgana (delish gelato with a cute neighborhood vibe!)

The best location! We stayed in Trastevere as well but loved this area so much more

This property is in a fabulous location. Minutes from the Termini station, the colosseum and the restaurants right around there were excellent. The front room is noisy but the other two rooms are perfect. The kitchen space and dining room made breakfast super easy to have at home each day. The host was excellent. He was so responsive and accommodating. We would stay here again and recommend to friends.

We had an incredible stay at Francesco's apartment. Exactly as promised, well outfitted, comfortable, roomy and fantastic location! Absolutely loved it!
2.5
Great location in the heart of the city. The apartment was really nice. The host was accommodating. The front bedroom can be a little loud because of the great location, yet the rear bedroom was really quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

I would definitely rent here again! This quarter of Rome is quaint, full of top notch restaurants, in WALKING distance to all the major monuments and attractions of Rome and steps from the metro if you prefer subwaying it! But staying here one doesn't eve need buses or metros! It's close to everything. The house is decorated beautifully with original ceramic tile floors and is big enough to accomodate 7 people! Two bathrooms, a good wifi connection, a tv, a dishwasher, an elevator, etc. Francesco is available at a beckons call and very helpful speaking both English and Italian. Every day we enjoyed walking our neighborhood, eating so well at the restaurants nearby: Broccoletti, Vacca M'Ubriaca, Toast & Co., and Urbana 47 and each day we walked to where we wated to go: the Forum, the Colloseum, Palatine hill, Galleria Doria Pamphilj, and the altar of the motherland. It's a quartier so central you feel as you are living the REAL Rome! This is the most ideal quarter from which o base any visit to Rome. Thanks! Only thing to note is to bring earplugs or download a sound machine app for when the tras collectors pass on the street. They can be noisy.
