California Ranch is located in the prestigious Deepwell Estates neighborhood of wind free South Palm Springs. Home to many movie stars over the years, Deepwell is a quiet area of beautifully landscaped private homes, yet only minutes away from all of the attractions of downtown Palm Springs, and an easy walk to shops, restaurants, hotels, bars, movie theatres.
This house boasts of a beautiful swimming pool, 5 modern bedrooms (3 ensuites) and 4.5 baths. California Ranch was built for entertaining in the classic “Calm Springs Style” both inside and out. Comforts abound!
Our Starter Kit to you is designed to get you through your first day only, it may very well get you through 2 or 3 days as many of our guests will attest to, but our design is to get you through your first day before you may need to go to a grocery store.

Your kitchen is fully equipped with pots & pans etc., nearly every utensil you need to use to cook with and cleaning products.
There is a starter kit in each respective bathroom & kitchen of the following supplies:

Between 0 and 59 days prior to scheduled arrival, no refunds will be granted.
No refund will be given for early departures.
However and provided the guest cancels reservation on the original booking platform and ModMansions is able to re-rent this property for the same rate and same dates, then ModMansions has the option and MAY refund the same amount.

Age Requirement:
You must be 30+ years of age to reserve any home with ModMansions. Guest must provide a copy of a valid government issued photo id.
Rates:
Published rates are based on standard occupancy, do not include a combined 12.5% percent tax which includes City of Palm Springs room tax and a TBID Tax Assessment.
Payment Schedule:
An advance Deposit (50%) is due at the time of signing the contract with ModMansions. The balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival at the property. In complex long-term reservations, payment arrangements may be made by contacting us directly.
Utilities - (stays of 28+ nights)
If staying in a home, with its own private pool, for 28 nights or more, the guest will be required to pay a utility deposit of $1,000.00 to $3,000.00 depending on the property. This deposit will be used to pay the actual monthly gas and electric bills and copies of the actual bills will be provided to the guest. Should the stay exceed 28 nights and utilities used exceed the utility deposit, the guest agrees to pay an additional deposit to cover the remaining stay. This is not an additional income source for ModMansions

House and property look better in person than advertised. Everything is included in the kitchen and the host is very easy to communicate with when a question comes up. Location is convenient to downtown and the neighborhood is very quiet. Highly recommend staying here.

Terrific floorplan which included open kitchen and large family room, private bedrooms with interior bathrooms, quiet upscale neighborhood and relaxing pool and yard with amazing Mountain Views!

We really loved this home. It was in the perfect location and easy access to hiking trails and also good restaurants. The photos really don’t do it justice and it’s just the most peaceful and picturesque home you could ask for.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say how much we loved this property. The pictures online do not do it justice. The house was huge... and in a really, really, really nice neighborhood. The home was clean & well appointed. I mean, the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner... which is saying a lot. How many rentals can boast super sharp knives? This one could. The beds were super comfy. (The master bedroom was incredible.) The view... amazing. The fruit trees... bountiful. The pool... nice and warm. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would stay here again.

This property was everything the ad had promised. Clean, spacious , and the perfect location. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us that stayed. Our house host David was helpful and quickly responded with any questions or issues we had. I will say the no outdoor music at any time of day was frustrating at times. This is a strict Palm Springs rule that the house hosts must enforce. It is understandable in a neighbourhood setting but just would have been nice at times to have some music playing. As grown adults on a holiday and having certain rules like being in the house by 8 pm seems a bit ridiculous but again this is strictly a city rule. This didn’t change our experience and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay . We all would highly recommend this property for any groups.

We had an amazing relaxing weekend in Palm Springs. The property was centrally located with easy access to all the grocery stores we needed. It was a little too hot for us to enjoy the pool during the day but it was nice for the little time we could be outside!

The house was nice. The oven was left dirty. We didn’t cook at all. The linens were a bit underwhelming considering the price to replace them. I think the signage was a bit uncomfortable for some of my guests. Our experience was mostly very good overall.

We loved the open concept of the kitchen and living room but the best part of the house was having 5 rooms with 4 and a half bathrooms. The house was clean and the pool was beautiful. Just be very aware of the very strict noise ordinance for Palm Springs. It definitely affected how much fun we were able to have outside at the pool, so we stayed inside for the majority of the stay. Other than that, it was one of the best houses I've ever stayed in!

We had a very relaxing time during our stay! There were seven guests and we had more than enough room. We met David at check in and he was super knowledgeable and friendly. Everything we needed for our four-day stay was at the property and we were only a couple minutes of a drive to downtown Palm Springs. We would definitely come back to stay again!

This home is very very clean and spacious. It is convenient to grocery store (Ralphs), on a quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood. Although we spend all our time at the house, it is close to shopping and restaurants. This had plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone in the house. David met us at the home and gave us a quick tour of the place which I found to be very professional. He was super nice and fortunately we never had to call him for any issues. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay in this wonderful home.

Excellent location, close to downtown, and in a nice neighborhood. Each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom. Communication with the property manager was excellent and timely.

Our group of 9 gals stayed at The California Ranch this past weekend and we were very impressed. Laurie and team were so communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is perfectly stocked and the location cannot be beat. We had a chef come in two days and he was even impressed with how well stocked our kitchen was. We’ll be back, highly recommended.

The home is beautiful and perfectly sized for larger groups. The decor and furnishings are lovely. Everyone in my group loved their stay and those who have visited Palm Springs before said that it was quite the find. The pool is also large and has a great view of the mountains.

Wow- I cannot say enough about this place! I can truly say that this was the best stay we all had experienced. From our Property Ambassador to our accommodations, seriously, they took care of it and everything essential was provided. If I am ever in Palm Springs, CA again, I will be staying at this property in Deepwell Estates. Also, it was such a beautiful neighborhood and had lovely views of the mountains.
