Everything was as advertised. A quiet lake house that gave us relaxation and family time. The house has everything that you need and then some. Perfect for anytime of year. Very comfortable stay.

We arrived Thursday and stayed until Sunday, during which we enjoyed the lake, the wildlife, and a great football game. The kitchen is stocked very well! Tons of towels for water activities. It was a good quick trip to a cute cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and the location was great. The owner was very understanding regarding our stay after there were some scheduling issues and worked with us to make other arrangements. We will be going again when we can.

Beautiful home on Lake Hartwell that is very well maintained and stocked with everything you need! Nice yard with daily visits from deer and ducks, beautiful piebald deer who is very friendly! Large fire pit area with plenty of room and firewood on site! Very nice gravel trail to the dock that’s pretty flat especially for a Lake House, located on a nice cove with easy access to Marina! Owner provides some canoes and a pedal boat but we didn’t use as we rented a pontoon boat to explore the lake! Owner responds quickly to any questions or concerns! Wonderful long weekend on the Lake except for the rain, but really can’t control that so we just hung out on the beautiful screened in porch when the storms moved thru! Will most definitely return!

We were not notified as to the door code and it took us about 20 minutes to get this completed and in the house, The house was great! Very spacious and had everything you will need for your stay. We loved the dock and the water was wonderful. Yes, we saw loads of deer and there was a duck that liked to visit us everyday. My son and daugther-in-law had end of the month reports due and the internet was not stable. We were without it 2 times at first and then from Tuesday til Friday the second week we were there. There is construction going on and they keep cutting the lines apparently. Another things you might want to consider is there was no notice of poisonous snakes. Nothing in the description on the internet and nothing stating this on the property. My son was bitten late Saturday night and the emergency unit was wonderful! Very prompt and caring enough to come back after getting him to the hospital to see if they could find it and kill it. Needless to say, it was gone. The owner was notified and yes, it is nature, but I believe both VRBO and the owner need to provide more information to the renters to be cautious and this is possible at this facility. Bill offered a free day for the problems, however, we all needed to get back. So, the first week great and the second not so great!

The house was cute and a great place to gather. My friends and I mostly hung out around the kitchen table, screened-in porch, or the dock. I really liked the large size of the dock and comfortable chairs. The house is in a cove, so it's very quiet.
