About this apartment rental
The king size bed is perfect for a couples retreat, or a small family as we have a single bed addition if needed.
A breakfast bar includes organic coffee beans, teas, half & half, English muffins and six eggs. There’s a gas stove/ oven, a microwave, a toaster oven, a plug-in fryer, a blender, and many cooking utensils. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a hair dryer, a magnifying mirror, shampoo and cream rinse and body wash. Plenty of fresh towels are provided and a drying rack is in the bathroom as well. This studio was fully remodeled from the ground up with wood floors, a marble bar and a mini-split that keeps the place cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. Large windows have curtains to block out light, but if you like light, the sun will rise over your bed! The views from the studio are stunning. Outside, the two acres include a large fire pit with a metal table for cooking on. Please provide your own firewood. Enjoy the many areas for sitting. Herbs for cooking are right outside the studio door. There’s a hammock under shade and I encourage folks to enjoy the corn hole located in the carport.br>Parking is plentiful, but please avoid parking by the mailbox. The mailman hates me!!!
While here, you will likely see bear cubs playing in the yard. There are woods all around and they seem to love sunbathing in the large lawn under the wide open sky. Nighttime provides either a moon rise or an abundance of stars. The studio has its own entrance. Privacy is at a premium.
I live upstairs and work at home so am available to help with any questions you may have. There are great biking adventures from the house, as well as a nice walk around the nearby lake. Restaurants are within walking distance. Many provide take-out. Town is seven minutes by car. Uber or Lyft are always here!
To be so close to town and yet feel so far away is a real treat!

Visiting the area for a work trip. Found this gem of a rental. Will definitely stay again.

We spent 6 days here and we loved every minute. The location is beautiful, a lovely garden-filled property at the end of a dead end street, surrounded by trees. It is a convenient base of operations for activities in downtown Asheville and the surrounding area. We went horseback riding and river rafting within a half hour drive. The unit has everything we wanted: a well appointed kitchen; comfortable sleeping area; very clean and well maintained; private access. A home away from home. The owner lives above and she was very responsive to all our questions, but never intruded on our privacy. This is a great spot to stay in Asheville.

Property was exactly as advertised, spotless and the property host was great! Definitely recommend

This rustic basement studio apartment was quiet and comfortable, with ample space for our party of 3. Tucked away in a charming neighborhood on a beautiful piece of property, the location was the perfect proximity to downtown, neighboring areas, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We enjoyed a wonderful family getaway here. The studio was lovely. Bright and airy. Fit my husband and I and our 7 year old son perfectly. Callie is a lovely host. Thank you for a memorable and special visit!! We will be back. Love your home.
4.9
My stay in this area required good rest and the cozy and artistic surroundings allowed just that. If I were staying longer with a companion, I would have enjoyed the outdoor firepit and the wonderful little gas stove in the kitchen.
4.9
This property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. Parking is very convenient. The space is nicely decorated and kitchen is well equipped. The gardens and sculptures are beautiful and the yard backs to woods. It is close to I-40, so is very convenient to all that Asheville area has to offer. Callie is a wonderful host and we would love to visit again.
4.9
Loved the host, location, and decor it was exactly as promised. The host made it special and was very personable and helpful. We will return to this lovely spot.
4.9
This is a charming place in a very quiet area, yet so convenient to get to the UNCA campus, downtown, and the River Arts District. The host has clearly thought of everything guests might need, and then some. Having interesting art inside and around the yard made it feel very homey. We only wish we had had more time to spend just relaxing in the backyard.
4.9
This cute little nook is very private, close to everything in Asheville, and the host is kind and available. It is not 'walkable' in the middle of downtown or anything, but just enough out of the way that it is reliably calm and quiet. It was perfect for me and my boyfriend.
4.9
Callie was a great host, the home and property were clean, and as advertised!
4.9
A lovely space! Callie is very friendly and welcoming. The space is extremely peaceful and the Asheville mountain air definitely feels healing. Beautifully decorated, spacious for a studio, and overall very pleasant space. Will stay again if the need arises.

This home is perfect all the way around. The property is like a mini apartment. The bed is comfy, the kitchen ample, and the bathroom large. It's on a beautiful property at the end of a street in a tucked-away little neighborhood that's close to everything. Callie is a great host with great knowledge of the area. What we liked best was the tranquility of the area. Our first morning, I was making coffee and a bunny appeared out the window. The location can't be beaten, as you can be downtown in under 10 minutes. We were in town for a visit to UNC Asheville, which was a stone's throw away. Hopefully, we will get a chance to visit again!

The location is great - so close to the River Arts District. The property itself is on a quiet little road at the dead end, so no street noise, which was super. The interior was intimate, filled with beautiful art, comfortable king size bed, plenty of windows looking out onto a pretty garden, and wonderful touches like great coffee beans and English muffins. The host was warm and helpful.
4.9
Set up for couple or single person verses a family. Enjoyed our stay. Callie is wonderful host. It is really not walking distance to anything other than a coffee shop, so take your GPS!
4.9
My friend and I had a lovely stay. The host was so welcoming and we had everything we could need and more. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
4.9
Exceeded expectations! Warm homey feeling, comfortable bed sufficient kitchen. Eggs, muffins, organic coffee a bonus. Plus fresh veggies right at the property. Owner so helpful and friendly, felt like family. Will definitely be back to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It’s the perfect location for exploring all areas of Asheville. Backyard is beautiful to sit and relax. King-size bed was comfortable with lots of pillows.

Lovely place to stay in Asheville. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Incredible host and a beautiful space in which to relax and feel at home. Would absolutely stay here again on future explorations of Asheville.

This amazing unit makes you feel like you have your own little place. Just 5 quick minutes from hustle and bustle of downtown Asheville; it’s a perfect place to re’treat’ from the cute but busy town. Well appointed and an amazing owner (if you can meet her for just a moment, you’ll immediately love her!) Seriously, stay here if you can. It’s tucked away, there’s a great quaint small coffee shop 2 blocks away. You really are exceptionally close to everything, but far away enough to feel like you have a little cottage in the hills.

Beautiful wooded surroundings …
Very picturesque!
Tall people beware… I’m 6’1” and my head barely cleared the ceilings in multiple places, otherwise it was perfect!!!
4.9
Good location ,convenient and close to downtown. Lots of sites to see and closeby. Everything you need in unit and very well decorated.
Acurate distribution presented. Very quiet spot and lovely views . Overall and very lovely stay and we loved our time . Would definitely recommend this for a quiet getaway. Thankyou Callie .

Stayed a couple nights in the studio, location was nice and quiet. Everything I needed was there. Callie was a great host, would stay again for sure.

As a former Asheville native, I am quite picky about what’s wonderful in my former hometown. This studio was simply a slice of heaven. Quiet, peaceful, warm and welcoming. Wonderful light streams in from large windows on two sides, and mountain views on both sides. Callie’s art both inside and out are a remarkable touch. When not out and about I enjoyed being nestled inside this cozy space with a book and cuppa. What a treasure!
4.9
The studio apartment was was very charming and has history to go along with it. The artwork outside was a pleasant site to see. Industrial art welded panels. Just a lovely place to stay minutes from the Biltmore Estate and downtown Ashville. A nearby lake and restaurants within walking distance. The property owner was charming and helpful. I would love to return for a longer stay.
4.9
First off, Callie is just a joy. So helpful with suggestions around town and sites not to miss! Her home and the studio is just magnificent and set in an area that you really don’t expect the serenity you have. I would absolutely rent this space again.
4.9
Quiet, peaceful and easy access to great restaurants and other points of interest; and, the owner is a dynamo - very pleasant with an amazing family history…

We have never had a better stay! The space and location could not have been better at this price and we've never had such a friendly and helpful host! Callie was so nice and friendly. She gave us the best recommendations and we enjoyed chatting with her when we passed her on her porch coming and going from the property. We even hung out with her around her fire pit in her beautiful back yard on our last night there. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next visit!
4.9
This studio apartment was a perfect space for the two of us to spend the weekend. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Due to rain we did not get to enjoy the back yard. It was an easy drive to downtown Asheville.
4.9
This is such a wonderful space to come home to if you’re visiting Asheville. It is so close to everything, yet in a quiet little oasis. Very private studio, super clean with every convenience you can think of…and the outdoor space that Callie makes available to guests is breathtaking. Highly recommend and I look forward to coming back the next time I visit Asheville.❤️
4.9
This place is perfect. The property is beautiful and quiet but it is a short drive to downtown Asheville. The apartment is comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. Callie is a great hostess!
4.9
The property is simply gorgeous, with abundant fruit trees, herb gardens, flower gardens and pollinator plants adorning the grounds. We visited in early August, while the temperatures were still reaching into the 90s every day, but we could still have our morning coffee outdoors, with morning temps in the mid-70s. Our rental unit was beautifully decorated and had plenty of everything we needed (towels, kitchen utensils and appliances, hot water that was hot, closet space) and some things that we didn't "need" but were so glad they were there (chocolates on the pillows, assorted varieties of tea, organic coffee beans and a grinder...). Our host, Callie, was always available and she was a perfect anchor throughout our stay. She is hilariously funny and a valuable source of local information for any guest who may not know the lay of Asheville and the surrounding area. We had a blast staying at her property and would recommend it to anyone looking for privacy and a sense of country living, all while hidden in close proximity to everything Asheville has to offer visitors. We'll be back!
4.9
The apartment was so charming. It’s got everything you need, has lovely artwork, and has a gorgeous yard. It’s the perfect place to stay when you’re in Asheville.
4.9
My stay at Callie's studio was, in a word, perfect. The living quarters are clean, cozy, and well equipped for a short - or longer- stay. Proximity to downtown Asheville and surrounds was phenomenal, though it felt a world away. I saw hummingbirds, lightning bugs, and enjoyed the gorgeous backyard complete with art sculptures! Callie was a warm and generous host and made me feel right at home.
4.9
Nice quiet Studio at the end of a dead end street. Close to downtown, River arts, and breweries. Friendly and helpful host.
4.9
Check in was super easy. Communication with Callie was also easy. Callie was VERY accommodating and polite. We will definitely look to stay with her again when we come back to Asheville.
4.9
This property was wonderful and in a perfect location for anything you may want to do in Asheville. We were in town for a concert and also toured The Biltmore Estate. We took advantage of the lovely outside sitting areas in the yard. The hostess was lovely and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
