About this apartment rental
This superb holiday property is at ground floor level in a small and select high-class development of apartments overlooking York’s Medieval Walls, and is just a couple of minutes’ walk to The Minster area.
It offers a beautiful and modern interior, giving guests incredibly high standards of accommodation with a warm welcome, two lovely bedrooms and with complimentary parking just a couple of minutes’ walk away. The Abbot’s Chambers has every convenience to hand with shops, delis, restaurants, ice cream, museums and more close by. A simply terrific location.
This gorgeous two bedroom apartment is accessed through the building’s gates and garden, and through the secure building entrance. It is at ground floor so is handy for those of us with less mobility. The property is beautifully furnished throughout, offering very comfortable sleeping accommodation in two bedrooms (one King and one double).
Through the apartment’s entrance hall the property opens up into a gorgeous open plan living-dining room with designer kitchen. There is a large corner sofa, wonderfully comfortable, and has dining for four guests. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything a guest could need.
There is a large and sumptuous master bedroom with king sized bed and with a modern en-suite shower-room with power shower. The second bedroom has a superbly comfortable double bed. The pristine family bathroom (with bath and power shower over) is opposite the second bedroom. There is also a lovely private, shared garden to the rear of the building, with seating. Complimentary parking for one vehicle is close by.
This is a really gorgeous holiday property offering guests a terrific location for a special break from which to explore York.

First, this was a lovely, well eqipped flat in an absolutely fabulous location. It needed some attention, however. More than a few bulbs were out. The cook fan and light did not function. One of the bathroom fans/heaters did not work nor did the heated towel rack. The freezer was completely frosted over.
A note--be sure to bring your own soap, shampoo, etc.
If the above were fixed, the place would have been perfect.

Very comfortable ground floor apartment in an excellent location handy for city centre. Well equipped kitchen which has everything needed if self-catering.

Great Flat and really handy for the town. Clean and everything working/included.
If you're arriving by car, ask the vendor to include day passes of the car parks and check which ones you can use (it's more than just the one they recommend).

Lived up to expectations. Well appointed, neat and in excellent condition. Location is very convenient for the city centre and all amenities. We walked to the apartment from the station so didn't have any need for car parking

This apartment was perfect for our 5 night stay. We loved being able to walk through the wall gate into the city in 5 minutes and to the Minster in 10 minutes. Beautiful city and history around every corner. We loved The Shambles, the National Railway Museum and The Minster. We loved that we walked to all those places as well as walked the wall. Would love to come back. Highly recommended.

Ideally located for exploring York and it’s wonderful streets and shops. The apartment is modern and clean and really comfy beds and just outside the city walls. Great stay. Would recommend and will come again

Property very clean and tidy on arrival. Adequate facilities and really good location for the City centre. The cooker hob, a ceramic hob variety not induction as stated on at least one document, was very difficult to operate, but the oven and microwave were both fine so this was a minor issue. There was also an issue with the use of the car park, but this was sorted out by the agent, although did cause some concern at the time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay from the time we let ourselves into the front door, to the time we locked the key safe for the last time and would certainly book again were we to visit York again.

Lovely property, very central to York. Very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The induction hob completely defeated me, so some instructions on use would have been good. The microwave also seemed complicated, so again some guidance on using that would have been helpful. Overall well appointed kitchen though.

Great house located near the Monksgate in York. Worked very well for our group of two couples. Highly recommend. Close to great restaurants and the bustling scene of York.

perfect location very close to the city centre. very comfortable furnature and spacious living space. The kitchen is equipt with everything anyone would need and more. it is a ground floor property which is great.

This is a very nice property in an extremely convenient location just outside the City walls. Lots of bars, restaurants and main shops all within a 5-15min walk. The living area and main bedroom are spacious, the second bedroom is a little small - OK for one person but it could do with more storage or at least some hooks and and drawer or shelves in the cupboard. Great facilities in the kitchen including washing machine / dryer / dishwasher and all the stuff you need provided already. Heating / water etc all worked well. There was a bit of traffic noise in the morning as it is close to the main road but apart from that it is a quiet location with no noisy bars or crowds to disturb you, and while we were staying we couldnt hear any noise from neighbouring properties. Access is easy - even though it is double yellow lines outside it's a wide area and you can safely park up for however long you need to unload without any problems. The car park is about 5 min walk away, and there is a big sainsbury opposite for supplies. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely think of using it again if we come back.

Instructions on how to work the electric hobs and dishwasher should be provided. Also basic information on night storage heaters (and their disadvantages in terms of heat regulation) would be welcomed. The wall heater in the small bedroom would not work and consequently the bedroom was very cold. Apart from these, the apartment was very comfortable and in a good location.

From the initial booking any questions i had were answered promptly, the accommodation is of a high standard and in a perfect location. We could not find any faults with this place and will definately be back to stay again. Perfect.

We were very pleased with our stay at Abbotts Chambers. The location was great, the facilities in the apartment were spot on. The whole property was lovely and clean. We would thoroughly recommend the property.Just one BUT, the master bedroom did not shut completely and the handle was off the in the second bedroom so this could not be shut. The handle to the second bedroom was on the table in the hall.
