The Neighborhood:
King’s Cross is such a vibrant part of the city - always something going on; a new restaurant to try or bar to visit.
Here are some suggestions!
Granger & Co is great for any time of the day, but they really excel at brunch. Expect queues but persevere, because it’s usually worth it.
Overlooking the fountains of Granary Square, Caravan specialises in small sharing plates. But small doesn’t mean small flavour; their food is described as well-travelled, and it’s certainly varied. Big space, great atmosphere.
Those in the know head to Mother Flipper’s market stall for burgers.
The Big Chill House is spread over several floors and a cool roof terrace and is only minutes from Kings Cross station. Pop in for craft beers and boutique gins, DJs at the weekend (it has a 3am license) and plenty of well made pub grub.
Drop into Simmons for a cocktail, as it’s only a minute’s walk from King’s Cross station. With happy hours and a weekend license until 3am, there’s no excuse not to visit this cool little retro find. Plus this year the bar goes all disco with a light up dancefloor.
Harrisons is a traditional English pub - have some pints here and maybe try a Sunday roast.
Regent’s Canal: This really is such a beautiful and special part of London, peaceful but close enough to the hustle and bustle. The canal is so tranquil - such a treat in the middle of a city to feel such quiet. And yet, just a stone’s throw away is one of the most exciting areas! Packed full of great restaurants, buzzy bars, and sights to see.
Regent’s Canal runs from Paddington to Limehouse in East London - you can walk along the towpath all the way there. It’s a great way to see the city. Alternatively, you can get a boat (there are various waterbuses) and explore that way.
There is so much to do and try around here - you’re going to have a great time exploring.

Getting Around:
Kings Cross station is a 12 minute walk away - this station has overground and underground tube and rail services. St Pancras station is also 12 minutes walk away and this station has national and international train services. There are also plenty of buses in the area, which are a great way of travelling if you like to have a peek at your surroundings as you travel. Russell Square tube station is a 9 minute walk away.
A great local tip is to download the Citymapper app. This free app will plan your journey for you efficiently and quickly. It gives you a variety of different transport options such as bike, rail, tube and Uber taxi. It will also take you step by step through your journey as you travel and notify you when you are nearing your destination.

Other Things to Note:
We kindly request that you read the house rules prior to booking and respect them during your stay. Parties or events of any kind will not be tolerated. Violation of this rule will result in eviction from the property and charges for any damages or additional cleaning required. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

City Tax may applicable for this property. This tax is not included in the booking price and will be collected directly from you Before arrival. This place is in a great location and has some great features. Parts of the house are great...The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently renovated. Parts of the house have been freshly painted and the main floor flooring was good. The carpet up the stairs and throughout the second floor is a bit worse for ware and some walls desperately need that fresh coat of paint. But my biggest frustration was there was only 3 glasses and not enough plates for the full group. Also we ran out of toilet paper, could not find the TV remote and there were not enough towels... when we contacted the company that runs the place they said "look in other closets it should be there somewhere". At least we got a response. My only other complaint is there is just one set of keys provided and the door does not close unless you lock it, inside and out. We had a few of us out later one evening and had to wake up people to let us in when we got home. Overall this place has the potential to be a great place to stay but just needs a bit more TLC.

The location was great, very spacious. However, smelled of mold and the bathroom got flooded and leaked from the second floor to the first floor. When we arrived there was already a hole in the wall, we tried calling a plumber the last day and they took hours to fall back to send someone in the evening.

Family of four adults visiting London for 5 days. The flat was nicely located and very comvenient. Layout of the flat was perfect for our use. The front bedrooms are a bit noisy due to traffic and construction. The neighborhood is young as there aee several universities nearby. Neighbor had a party (it was a Friday night afterall) which was loud but otherwise fine.

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO as the location was beautifully close to several Tube stations. Check-in and check-out was incredibly easy and the home offered everything we needed when it came to a place to stay. We did feel that the pictures on the listing felt a little bit nicer, brighter, and cleaner than the home actually was. Otherwise, it’s a good place to have as a base for a larger group.

Fisrt things first because this is really important. You can not count on the management agency Houst to help you once you are there. We picked up the keys from the Key Drop location which was really convenient. We expected to find another set or even two inside the unit as is common practice if you are still using keys. There were none. The door only latched by using the key to lock from inside or outside. This meant that the various people in our group (1x 78, 1x 74 1x 57, and 1x 30 year-old) had to coordinate our comings and goings to ensure that no one was locked out. Which was not cool when my niece and I got home from a concert at midnight and had to wake up my 78 year-old mom to get inside. If someone stayed in to nap or just chill, they needed to have the keys to latch the door from inside and to also get out in an emergency. All of this was exceptionally inconvenient. Calls to the agency to get extra keys yielded "We'll get back to you in 10 minutes" replies. Which we never received. I think the the number they give for emergencies is an answering service. I was never able to contact anyone at the agency by any means. And really, this is the modern world: get coded keyless entry. The apartment itself is very spacious. The kitchen is large and well-equiped. The living room is also large. The furniture is comfortable but could use a thorough cleaining. Same for the carpets and even the walls in the entire apartment. The largest bedroom looked like it had kid feet smudges on the walls. A good paint job is needed thoughout. The biggest issue with this apartment is the noise. The street is a busy trunk road into the city leading from King's Cross/St.Pancras. The traffic is relentless. It would help if the apartment had quality windows but it does not. There is heavy foot traffic due to the proximity of the train station and a lot of nearby schools for students of all ages. The people are noisy too. This is charming at noon but not at two in the morning. This apartment could be a really quality option but right now it is not. The price is premium but the product is not at this time. And it is only Bloomsbury if you squint at the map- the post-code is King's Cross.

Stayed in the property with my kids for a spring break. Location of the property is great - 7 minutes to underground and railway, walking distance to most of London's attractions. Beds are reasonable even though mine was a bit short. Kitchen is in a good condition. When we tried to check in place was still being cleaned, so we had to come back in about 1 hour. I understand it was more of a fluke - otherwise communications from the property manager were good and clear.
