Home was very well stocked with all the essentials. Only recommendations would be for there to be blinds on windows in the downstairs primary suite bathroom and for there to be a full length mirror somewhere in the home.

Everything was great with the property. The return tram reservations and failure to pick us up was a nightmare. Sitting by the road in the pouring rain and no pickup for return trip home despite having made reservations properly was not cool. Thankfully the property mgr allowed us to take the golf cart and leave it on the circle. The tram office has major problems and never picked up the phone. We are veteran travelers to Bald Head and this has never happened before. Very disappointed as we missed the ferry on our scheduled time. The house was so wonderful and the communication with the property mgr was awesome.

The house was beautiful, but dirty. Our sheets were never washed as there was hair in all of the bed sheets, trash and cigarette butts in the yard, and a lot of black mold. Please be careful if you are staying here and someone has allergies to black mold. In the hall upstairs bath room the ceiling was covered in black mold as well as the closet to the full bed. Maintenance came and wiped it away, but never removed it. We have never seen so much black mold before, please careful! Otherwise, the house was beautiful and location was nice.

Check in was a bit delayed due to a late cleaning however the owner was quick to notify me and even offered free pizza for our inconvenience. Once we got settled in everything was fantastic. The house was just as described and very clean. I wish I had known more about the Bald Head Club membership however it worked out in the end. Overall we had an amazing trip and appreciated everything the house had to offer.

We have found our perfect house at BHI! The location is great - so quiet and peaceful (morning coffee on the screened porch, communing with the deer, birds and cicadas, is heavenly). Everything is top-of-the-line from the grill and golf carts to the coffee maker and margarita machine. The big pantry in the kitchen is a huge plus! The beds are all super comfortable and the bedrooms are conducive to good sleep - dark, cool and quiet. The best part for us was the open living area where we could all visit comfortably whether cooking or playing games or just hanging out. Also very conveniently located close to ferry, beach and golf. 5 stars in every way!!

We had everything we needed and more. Great location close to everything. New carts lots of space for everyone amd our gear. Homeowners quickly responded to questions and helped us make this a great vacation. We would stay hear again if available when we come back. Awesome place!

We found it- the perfect house for our family getaway. The location was great with its quiet and secluded location but only minutes away from any BHI destination- the marina, the beach, the shops. The house is well appointed with high end decor and furnishings, making your feel right at home. It offers everything you could possibly need especially when traveling with young children- trundle beds, pack and plays, high chairs, plenty of porch space for kids to play and the adults to sip afternoon delights. Having two 6 seater golf carts readily available was an added bonus for exploring the island and picking up visitors to the island. This is by far a hidden gem on BHI and our new go-to getaway from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for sharing this beauty with our family.

We have stayed on the island several times and this was by far our favorite. The house was immaculate, plenty of space for everyone, secluded backyard, convenient to the beach, market and marina. Owner was incredibly friendly, polite and communicative before and during our stay. There isn’t a thing we needed while there, except brisket for the smoker on the deck!

This VRBO vacation home is a fantastic find and will not disappoint! This was our first trip to BHI and after such a lovely stay at this wonderful home, we would love to plan our next trip back. The owners are quick to respond to any question and extremely helpful! The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into building a wonderful home that makes you want to gather together, relax and enjoy your time away. There is plenty of space in the open kitchen/dining/living room area, but also spaces outside including a screened in porch with a cozy couch and tv! The house is on a quiet street tucked away among the island foliage, but still light and bright inside. The location is convenient to the marina, the market and shops, the Bald Head Island Club and the many beach accesses. The 4 beach cruiser bikes were a huge bonus as well as having two 6-seater golf carts. It is so inviting and comfortable inside, that even on a bad weather day we were happy to hang out inside. I would absolutely recommend renting this home, we had no regrets!

We were a little skeptical of renting a place new without any reviews but the owners of this place have done an amazing job at exceeding expectations. We are frequent visitors to the island and have stayed in numerous different houses. Although we always have a great time while on the island, we never found “that place” that made us not want to look for a different place to stay on our next trip...until now! This house was recently built and the owners have thought of everything to make it seem like home. No second hand furniture, place settings, or golf carts here as EVERYTHING is brand new and high quality. We appreciated the clean baby gear (pack-n-play and high chair) and I only wished I had peaked under the grill cover before the last day to find that brand new pellet smoker! Owner was very response leading up to check-in and reached out during our stay to see if we needed anything. Thanks for a wonderful trip and we look forward to our next visit to the island at the Hideaway on Fort Holmes!

We were honored to be the first guests to stay in this BRAND NEW immaculate gorgeous home! No expense was spared as the owners thought of everything to make the vacation experience first class and seamless. All the supplies you could imagine (including amazing spice rack for cooking!). Loved the layout of the home with master downstairs. The back porch is perfect for happy hour! The owners set up a fine bar complete with essentials including martini glasses for our cosmos! Bedrooms were stocked with tons of linens, extra towels, pillows etc. and the golf carts and bikes were key for getting around the island. All in all it was a great experience - don’t wait - grab this home before it’s booked!
