Conveniently located near downtown Durango and the Purgatory Ski Resort, this cozy retreat provides easy access to a myriad of activities. Step inside and be enchanted by the breathtaking mountain scenery that envelops you. The inviting living room features a comfortable sleeper couch for extra guests and a cozy sitting area by the fire, perfect for unwinding with a good book. The well-equipped kitchen with bar seating has everything you need to prepare delicious meals for your loved ones. The master bedroom is a luxurious sanctuary with a king-size bed, an in-room TV, and a private en suite bath, as well as access to the deck for a tranquil outdoor escape. Another bedroom offers a sumptuous queen bed, while the third bedroom is an adventurous delight for young guests with two charming twin bunk beds, all sharing a well-appointed full bath. The expansive outdoor deck provides a delightful space to relax and soak in the splendor of the mountains. Furthermore, a section of the garage has been transformed into a lively game room, complete with various games, darts, and a ping pong/air hockey table. Outside, parking is available for up to 3 vehicles. Please note that accessing the home requires climbing several stairs.

*This home can comfortably accommodate 6 adults and 4 children. We may consider more adults guests with additional per night fees (still only up to 10 guests maximum). Please inquire with us for more information. Prices shown are for 6 adult guests only.

This home is dog friendly, up to two dogs maximum. The owners do live on site and appreciate guests respecting this rule and not bringing more than 2 pets. Approved Dogs are allowed with a non-refundable fee per pet based on size/type. Please let us know about your pet(s) ahead of time when inquiring or making your reservation. Our family of 2 parents and 3 adult children really enjoyed our stay in mid-August. The deck was better than the pictures show. It was a really nice view and a great way to start/finish the day. Everyone enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey games downstairs in the evenings. Great location with easy access to everything that we needed. We would love to stay here again.

We visited in early/mid June, and had a great time with extended family. The house was very comfortable for our family group. We spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the very scenic view. We all enjoyed our stay at this house, and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful property. Yes the pictures of that deck view are accurate- absolutely beautiful!! The unit is clean, nicely appointed and well located for your Durango area adventure. We would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The property was equipped with everything we needed, was well-kept, clean, and comfortable. We spent much of our time out on the huge deck, taking in the beautiful view of the mountains for as far as we could see in any direction. The house was in a very convenient location, just off of Rt. 550, far enough away from town center to feel the expansiveness of the mountains, but close enough to be able to run into town for groceries, shopping, and going out to eat. Highly recommended!!!

A short distance away from downtown Durango and yet so close to most activities, food and shopping. 1st, I love Colorado. Always have always will. Durango has really grown to be a close favorite city. 2nd, I use VRBO exclusively and have trusted their services. I've struggled writing a review this time that wouldn't be critical of this rental. Instead the following is a strong recommendation for the owner and property management. 1.) Follow your posted Mountain AC rules before guest arrives and do invest in one or two window AC units. 3.) clean filter in the portable AC with hose before guest arrives 4.) Be aware of temperatures before guests arrive so #'s 1,2 and 3 will be a a peak performance. 5.) Bringing in an non working, dirty appliance even temporarily to use as a substitute is inefficient. 6.) The customer giving chose-able solutions in order to have a new appliance before a week later is unacceptable. 7.) Property management team please keep customer informed all along the process. Other than once they did respond in a timely manner. Cud-dos to the member who shipped a forgotten item to my home. 8.) The Durango Post Office will not deliver mail/packages/letters or anything else to this rental, no matter who you inform ahead of time. Checking the status of the expected delivery will not help. Go to the PO and pick it up there. 9.) For any cooking utensil reported not working get creative or go buy it. Ooops at 1500 character limit.

The property was lovely and the night view from the living room was spectacular due to the high windows in the livingroom. The maintenance had problems and I felt I was expected to clean much more than I should have on the last day since we paid a cleaning fee. There was no division from the shower and bedroom and the tub was WAY too high to get into. Getting a hold of a manager was so unbelievably easy and she rates #1 in my book.

Excellent property! Our hosts were welcoming and the communication was fantastic from the very beginning. We were provided with everything we needed for a great stay. We spent a lot of time out on the deck. What a view! We recommend staying here.

The rental was true to both the pictures on-line as well as the description. The owner also provided toys for kids and, if we had a dog, there were accommodations available for a pet as well. The kitchen was fantastic with everything necessary for cooking. What a fantastic location, only 5 minutes outside of town including a grocery store. Stunning views from giant deck. Ping pong and air hockey were a perfect place for older kids to enjoy while grand kids slept upstairs. Loved our stay - highly recommended

The house beautiful with views of the valley. The deck. Is huge! We sat outside and watched the world go by. Beautiful setting. The house was tastefully decorated with every amenity, convenient to town, ski areas, on the road to Silverton. Our only drawback was a steep stairway to enter. High end linens and bedding. Well equipt kitchen. Everything perfect.

Overall great stay and property. Lots of stairs to get to it. Floors could have been cleaner. Bathtub was dirty too. Patio and deck was nice. Great kitchen supplies. Lots of fans which was nice with how hot it was. We would stay here again.

The deck overlooks an incredible mountain scene that changes constantly. Watch the sunsets light them up, rainbows after rains!! Perfect location - very close to town, near the trolley stop…so easy to get around. The house is open and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen for any kind of cooking. Enjoy!

The deck has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Loved the seating area and table and chairs on the deck. The only drawback for our family was the stairs to get into the house, especially for my 75-year-old parents. We parked our cars down by the trampoline as the driveway has a steep incline to leave the cars parked.

Exceptionally Nice Property! Picture windows galore with views. Decor modern and fresh! Biggest best deck ever...cool northern exposure with views of red Mesozoic rock cliffs and many species of birds in the adjoining trees. Birders' paradise from the deck couch...many unusual species seen. Dog friendly. This was the best property we have stayed in yet.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and provided all our basic needs and then some. After four days of camping near Telluride, out time in Durango was the cherry on top! This spacious home gave us some much needed individual privacy and space. The deck was breathtaking - we spent our morning coffee time together soaking in the gorgeous vistas and cool breezes. We will definitely look to stay here again when in Durango. Thank you for this gift of space and family time.

We had a nice stay in Durango. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time out of the house as our son lives in town and we were out and about a lot. We had our dogs with us so went to Oxbow with them every morning for a walk which was very convenient (since the yard is small and not fenced). Thanks for the hospitality!

The property is great and just to let people know it does not have A/C. They call it mountain air in which you open the windows in the evenings and close them in the morning. The only problem with that is when it’s 90+ degrees in the summer it’s hard to get all that heat out. The property owner who lives next door brought over a portable A/C unit for us and it helped tremendously. The balcony bud huge and has plenty of seating available. Great location.

This home has a huge deck with a fabulous view. The living room has a vaulted ceiling with windows overlooking the deck lets you enjoy the view from inside as well. The location is great - just a few miles from the center of town, grocery stores etc. A great spot for families.
