Home is in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach. The outdoor shower is spacious and convenient. Outside tv is available to watch while grilling.
Wi-Fi is super slow to the point of being nonexistent. Fortunately, we were there during a week of the Olympics so watched live tv every night. Due to the slow WiFi, streaming our own networks was not possible.

I recently stayed at "Bethany Beach Vacasa" and loved it. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and close to local attractions. The accommodation was clean, well-decorated, and fully equipped. The balcony and beach style accommodations perfect for relaxing. The host was responsive and helpful, ensuring a great stay. Perfect location in a nice quiet neighborhood. The check in was seamless and property was clean. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils for a big family. Clean linens are provided and starter supply for dishwasher and bathroom paper and paper towels. Really convenient to have an outside shower to wash off the sand after a day at the beach. We enjoyed our stay and will surely be back in the future!

House was clean and sheets and towels provided. Nice service. However there is a neighbor directly behind the house that doesn’t believe in vacation and fun. Kids had friends down below house at 3 in the afternoon not making much noise at all and this neighbor decided to call the police on them. When police showed up even they appeared confused as to why they were called. There are also Ring cameras that are active down on lower level of home and they are monitoring every move you make. That is totally unacceptable

We loved everything about our stay at 12 Cleveland. The house was cute and cozy and just the perfect size to accommodate two young kiddos, 3 adults, and our small, elderly dog. The furnishings in the home feel new and comfortable and the house was charmingly decorated for a perfect at-the-beach feel. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need and there were ample bathroom and shower towels provided. We also thoroughly enjoyed grilling and eating out in the space underneath the house that included a dining table, comfy hammock, and lounge area. The community that the house sits in was perfectly quiet and friendly - we enjoyed taking walks along the canals. Although the house was a comfortable walk to the beach, the parking passes that were provided were an added perk especially with the young kiddos and the heat.
Vacasa was fantastic to work with as well. We had a minor issue with the AC and they immediately addressed the issue for us. Our only qualm with the home otherwise was the spotty internet service - not a major issue for folks truly on vacation.
We will certainly be booking future stays with Vacasa!

We enjoyed the house very much and it is a very short walk to the beach. the downstairs patio is ideal for barbecues or just relax. My only concern was that the house was not thorughly cleaned. We will most definetly rent it again! Only I will ask the management to double-check the clenliness. We found hairs inside the bed as well as dirt inside the kitchen drawers and food and grease stuck in plates and utensils.

I have rented houses in various cities around the country and honestly this was the worst check-in/customer service experience I've ever had. We arrived at the rental property and first attempted to enter the house around 5 p.m. The keypad did not work, so we contacted Vacasa (rep was in Oregon, I was in Delaware) and after trying to troubleshoot the issue with that person for 15 minutes the call was disconnected. So, I called back and that person says they will contact the local property management office and someone would be there to let us in within the hour. Not the answer I was hoping for, but ok. By 6:30 we were still waiting and hadn't received a follow-up call. Again, I call back and the third rep tells me they want to reset the keypad code but after multiple attempts it still doesn't work and they say they will contact the local office again and send someone with a key. Two hours later at 7 pm we're still waiting, hungry and in desperate of a bathroom. I call again and speak to a very kind gentleman who is working in Florida who keeps me on the line while he tries to resolve the issue and later elevating the issue to his supervisor. FINALLY, after waiting 2.5 hours, someone shows up with a key and tells us "we just got the ticket 15 minute ago." What the heck?!?!? I also asked several of the reps if we could get a late checkout on Sunday but was told "we can't do that, we would have to check with the local office." I asked that they do so, since we paid for the house and we just wanted what we paid for. Not one person, and I spoke to quite a few, at Vacasa - local or corporate - followed up with us to see if everything was ok or to express their apologies. I got a text on the last day about the checkout process, but that was it. I will never, every use them again since they don't seem to value our time or money.

The beach house a large outdoor space on ground level with lots of seating where the kids spent most of there time. They particularly enjoyed the ring & hook game. The deck around the main level isn’t terribly functional.
Inside is well appointed. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has just about everything you’d need to prepare meals. The home technically sleeps 8. However, the space lends itself to 6, 7 if your kids are used to intimate sleeping accommodations using the trundle bed.
The beach is walkable from the house at about a half mile. And easily accessed by bike. There are places to park bikes on both side of route 1.

Very nice property, at a great location, particularly during the pandemic. We were here for the beach, which is an easy walk, mostly on quiet streets that are not to crowded, with convenient crosswalks to cross the busy main drag. We had wagons for beach gear and our 3 year old granddaughter, and set up in the morning, left stuff the beach at lunchtime, with problems, and brought everything home in the evening. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. We loved being able to bring our dog, and she seemed to have a fine time too. The yard is not fenced but the deck that spans to sides of the house has a gate at the top of the stairs, so it was easy to have her outside while we drank morning coffee, or read in the evening. Great selection of TV channels and good wifi. My daughter was working via Zoom, while we were there, with no issues. The kitchen is probably the best equipped I have seen in many years of beach houses. No issues or complaints to report. Looking forward to our next visit.

When we arrived, we had a short drive into the lovely tree-filled development of well-maintained beachhouses. We walked into this home and our first comment was that it was so lovely and bright, it looks exactly like the online photos! The sitting area offers plenty of space, the kitchen was extremely well-equipped with every dish, glass, appliance you may need. One open cupboard for storing our crackers would have been great but not a big problem. Starter supplies of paper towels and tp were appreciated as well as some basic condiments for day one until we were able to shop. This beachhouse was immaculate, absolutely spotless! The baths were sparkling! We only used two bedrooms but the beds were firm and comfortable . When we arrived there were two bags of sanitized sheets and towels awaiting us. The commercial laundry had a less than pleasant smell so we opened them up and let them air out on the beds and by nightfall they were fine. Good safety step in time of Covid. We recommend bringing your own sheets/towels if you prefer plush towels and high end bedding. Plenty of room for your clothing in clean dressers and abundant hangers in the closets. We didn’t use the outdoor space under this raised home as we had a couple of very windy days and pollen had coated everything after we arrived. There was a hammock, lots of sofa style seating and many cushioned chairs plus a dining table and a clean propane grill.. Even a firepit! ( We did use that grill!) Great outdoor space, well maintained landscape with freshly mulched plantings. Also there’s a nice outdoor shower where we placed our bikes at night. Quiet neighborhood, away from the crowds. We will never stay in Rehoboth again , we much preferred this quiet well-located oasis. This was slightly pre season so it was quiet! However it likely is calm during summer also...it’s Bethany after all! We went crabbing at nearby Holt’s Landing state park, fun! The agents were always easy to contact and replaced a leaky coffee pot and burnt out light above the sink within an hour or so. Very pleasant agents! Sean, Tom, love you guys! Hats off to the owners whose generous furnishing of all one could need was appreciated. Nothing, absolutely nothing was old or dingy or worn out anywhere, including all kitchen things! We hope to come back for two weeks in the fall. Rent this place! You will love it!

This property is excellent and a great place to get away to relax. It is walking distance from the beach and has a nice outdoor patio area to chill out and relax at night time. My only complaint and suggestion for improvement is that the queen beds in the bedrooms were not comfortable at all. We needed to add extra comforters as cushion since the mattresses were rock hard. Everything else about this place was fantastic and the owners are very professional and provide excellent service! Owner`s Response: Thanks Joshua for staying with Seachange Vacation Rentals! Our stay at this lovely South Bethany Beach home was perfect! It`s well located, close to all attractions. It was fun just to walk around the neighborhood to see the pride in ownership of each home. Perfect environment to walk, run, ride bikes or look at the moon and stars at night. I advise this is NOT a location for loud groups or party-goers. The area is very quiet and safe with the police department right down the street. This home was decorated nicely and the furniture was comfortable. The beds were cozy and the linens spotless. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and cookie sheets. Nice shower in the master bedroom and the hall bath had a bathtub for my granddaughter who is 3 years old. In one of the bedrooms there was a bunkbed but the bottom bunk was double-sized which made it perfect for me to read to my grandaughter. The carport had a hammock, sitting area, grill and an outdoor shower which we did not use but would be so useful in the summer season. What we enjoyed most about this home was just hanging out, cooking together, strolling the area and then venturing out to see the local sights. We stayed Thanksgiving week during Covid and while most business were closed we found plenty to do. Seachange Vacation Rentals were easy to work with and the communication great when we had questions. Thank you for the memories!

We had a nice weekend staying here when we came for the Chamber of Commerce biking event. Be prepared for 9 am checkout unless you get permission from Seachange Rentals (SCR) for later. SVR arranged for linens and towels to be delivered prior to arrival and it was kind of annoying to be required to have all the linens ready for a possible 8:30 am pickup even though our 10:30 am checkout request had been granted.

Our weekend getaway was during Covid. Our group of 8+ a dog spent the time at the beach or the house. The parking passes for the beach were helpful but it was also a very manageable walk. The house is very comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed our time in the outside area, using the grill the Hammock and the tiki toss game. I would highly recommend staying at this house.
