About this villa rental
Semi-detached villa in Playa Blanca 700mts away from Marina Rubicon, quite in private complex, good construction materials and full equipped, if you want to enjoy the facilities. A very important in this island is a heated pool , infants and children welcome, We can provide a cot infant if required, contact before arrival. We acquired this villa to enjoy the sun in the South side of the island, LOCATION of the villa is close to the Papagayo Beaches, white sand, and the marina Puerto Rubicon, which has a busy nightlife, with a few restaurants and bars. A five minute drive from the beaches of Papagayo and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Playa Blanca 20 minutes waking to the promenade and Marina Rubicon.
The villa has two bedrooms with AC, private heated pool, free Wi-fi throughout the villa, Smart curved 55 inch sat TV UK & european channels, alll Sports and movies. Solarium with sun beds around the pool beside the garden area.
The master bedroom has a king size bed located on the 2nd floor and also has a private terrace where you can enjoy breakfast alfresco or enjoy a quite moment reading at the table and two chairs. The master bathroom is located close to the master bedroom.
The second bedroom on the ground level has twin beds close to a second bathroom.
The living room with access to the kitchen, solarium and pool.
Fully equipped kitchen with hob,oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

From the time of booking to the day we vacated the property communication was excellent. The property was exactly as decribed and location was perfect, quiet but close enough to shops. Lots of places to eat around the marina.
We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Great contact from Host Polo from start to finish. He did everything he could to make our stay the best it could be. House was perfect size and as described. Lovely to have a large welcome pack in the kitchen and have staples like salt and pepper. Pool was heated to a nice temperature and outdoor area was spacious. It’s located in a quiet complex with a mixture of residents and holiday homes and is approximately 15-20 mins walk from Marina Rubicon which has a selection of restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Have stayed in and around Playa Blanca several times at this time of year so know the area quite well. The villa was well situated in a gated community, a mix of residential and holiday let properties so the area had a good feel and was nice and quiet.
The villa itself was at end of one of the blocks so had a larger footprint resulting in a good sized area around the pool and enough space to sit out whatever the time of day.
Communication pre-arrival with the property manager was excellent and there was a very nice welcome pack waiting for us on arrival. The villa lacked for very little in equipment in the kitchen including a Smeg fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Outside was a washing machine unlike other villas we have rented in the resort.
Everything was really clean and well presented and we felt safe and secure whenever in the villa and the safe allowed us to keep valuables locked away for extra peace of mind.
The satellite tv proved a little temperamental during our stay however there was also Netflix access so if we stayed in on an evening there was always entertainment on hand.
Overall a really nice stay and we would be happy to reserve this villa again in future.

Lovely villa and location. Villa is perfect for a family with everything you should need. Everything is within walking distance but would recommend a car so you can get around the island.

Was excellent from start to finish. Villa was spotless clean. Pool was fantastic, outside space was fantastic, owner was very accommodating and help. Lots of extra towels, milk bread, butter, water and a few essential were there on our arrival. About 20 min walk into town. Will definitely go back and would also recommend 👌

The villa was clean and well presented,on arrival the pool is heated to 26'c as in the villa description and you can request to have it increased which we did as my wife suffers with Raynauds.Polo the villa owner increased it to 28'c and said let him know if we want it increased to 30'c,I text him and said yes please some time later he said if you want 30'c it will be a further €140.I said we were not prepared to pay more as it was not mentioned in the villa description.The same day we had no IPTV stream and texted Polo but got no reply so phoned him but he delined the call twice .Only when we said said we would contact Vrbo incase his phone was down & we had a real emergency did he reply.The situation left us feeling vunerable as he is your only contact.We did have a lovely time in a lovely villa but unfortunatlly marred by the owners unproffesional attitude.

A lovely quiet villa, very well equipped and very clean. The description of the villa from the host is exactly right in walking distance to everywhere, so you do get your steps in!
Would definitely come back, and a big thank you to Polo, a great host.

The property is well equipped, clean and easily accessible. The area is quiet but a quick walk can take you to restaurants and shops. The host is on hand should you need anything and provided all the local information on arrival. I would thoroughly recommend this property for a really relaxing and quiet holiday.

Beautiful villa!
We were fortunate to choose this villa for our week long stay and loved it. The owner couldn’t have done enough for us, even though he and his wife unfortunately had Covid so couldn’t visit, but all our queries were answered and he helped us sort out transfers to and from the airport, which was above and beyond and much appreciated.
So we didn’t hire a car, which was fine for us. 20min walk to the Marina and about the same again up to Playa Blanca. If you have any mobility issues suggest you do hire a car.
The villa itself just couldn’t be faulted, it’s beautiful and well equipped with everything you could need to be self contained and self catering. Again we really appreciated the welcome beers and wine left for us by the owners.
Can’t recommend this villa highly enough!

Secure setting
The villa is situated on a gated community, end of road in a very private setting. Walkable distance from shops, beach and amenities but would recommend a car.. There is a small pool with villa ideal to cool you on Hot days.. Very well fitted out with all you need but could do with greater quantity of crockery and cutlery so you can fill dishwasher more to save on power and water usage.
When we were there we had a problem with internet crashing. Although this was not down to property as the whole area was out by supplier, as soon as we advised owner, he came straight away to try and rectify. As this was beyond his control he arranged internet with new supplier to ensure the villa was reconnected.
The owner could not have been more helpful.
Would recommend this villa for a relaxing retreat.

Lovely Villa absolutely immaculate with everything you would need to enjoy your stay . Nice little welcome basket the local wine was delicious.
Luzmarina kept in touch with us frequently and sent clear instructions about setting TV etc .

Excellent villa well equipped lovely host
The villa was well maintained and had everything you needed. Hosts were always available without being intrusive great use of WhatsApp. Fully recommend and would use again. You are not overlooked by other villas and very peaceful. It was lovely to have such a nice welcome pack of bread ham wine and soft drinks which meant we did not have to rush off to the supermarket. Supermarket and marina within walking distance and can recommend the steakhouse at the marina for lovely fish and cocktails. Very relaxing everything you could want from a holiday, great hosts would highly recommend

Fantastic villa
Had the most amazing stay at this beautiful villa . Will definitely be returning. Perfect location, polo ( owner) was so helpful and responding very quickly to any questions. Lovely welcome package on arrival, which means no rushing off to the supermarket straight away, 20 minute walk to the marina , taxi is around 4 to 5 euros and very easy to call . Supermarket a 5,minute drive away, 20 minute walk . Would 100% recommend this villa .

Perfect, peaceful sunny paradise
We have just returned from a fantastic week in this lovely villa...honestly, we just didn't want to leave! Can only echo what previous reviewers have said, lovely and clean on arrival and greeted by a more than generous welcome pack! Polo and Luzma were great at providing in formation and also allowing us to check in early - thanks again for that! Villa is very well equipped and comfortable, a real home-from-home. The large patio area is sunny all day and loungers are really comfortable, apart from a day at the beach, we spent most of our holiday there. It's an easy (if breezy) 20 minute walk to the Marina, but taxis are less than 4 euros and arrive at the main gate to collect you, within 5 minutes of making a call. We enjoyed lovely meals out and also had a couple of lazy nights in with a take-away watching Netflix on the large tv. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return as soon as possible, many thanks again Polo & Luzma, for allowing us to rent your lovely home!

Great Villa - so glad I found this one!
The villa is exactly as shown in photos, which is a real positive, but also not typical in my experience. Owners are really nice and actually contacted me a couple of times during our stay to check all was okay, which is a first for me.
Villa is absolutely spotless and the owners should be complimented on this!
Lanzarote villas can be very cold at night in the winter months, so air con heating was very welcome. Sofa comfortable, tv very good and includes a wide selection of international iptv channels, internet excellent (wired ethernet so good if you take your own iptv/firestick or watch your own Netflix etc). Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Excellent welcome pack so no need to shop first if arriving in the evening. The owners have stocked the villa with every extra you would want/need.
We initially found it difficult to locate the villa but if you look for the name Las Velas at the front of the development then you have arrived!
As previous reviewers have mentioned it is a 15-20 minute walk to the marina and a further 15 minutes along the pretty promenade to further bars and restaurants; an ideal location.
Even at such a good villa there are always things which could be improved such as:
- kettle thermostat faulty so switches off intermittently (minor issue but easily fixed)
- shower runs cold after a few minutes (might be an eco thing)
- being at the end of the row of houses it is more open to the prevailing wind and there is no wind breaker at this side; believe me it can get very windy.
The above comments are an honest assessment of what we found and overall we would rate this villa 10/10.

We had a great holiday at this lovely villa which is in pristine condition and very well equipped.
We really enjoyed our stay at this villa.The owner, Polo was a great host,providing a very generous welcome pack and staying in regular contact to ensure all was well.We had a slight problem with the pool filtration system which was sorted within 45 minutes of texting Polo.
Polo's friend Joel,who lives next door but one was also on hand to meet us on arrival and show us around,he was very helpful and friendly.Villa is in a very quiet location, about a 20 min walk from Rubicon marina, which suited us as we always hire a car.I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.A big thank you to Polo.

Quiet, peaceful - brilliant
Rented this villa for a family holiday, and was not disappointed.
The villa has everything needed for the family holiday in a quiet and peaceful area of Playa Blanca. The outdoor space is amazing and the sun is on the patio the whole of the day.
Walking distance to the Rubicon Marina (about 25 minutes) and a short drive back into Playa Blanca, it's the ideal place to stay.
Luzmarina and husband Polo were really helpful from first contact through to leaving - nothing was too much trouble.
The pool is ideal if you have little ones that either can't swim or aren't very confident in the water as it's not too deep.
I would certainly recommend the villa to anyone looking for somewhere with lots of outdoor space to enjoy that Lanzarote sunshine.

Beautiful House
This house is beautiful, everything you need to help you enjoy the most wonderful holiday.
We had a problem with the water heater, it was replaced within two hours. Even though Polo was not on the island he has contacts that are on hand. Thanks to Joel and Tom who came to our rescue.

A modern, well equipped home from home
What a fabulous holiday! The villa had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. Polo was great and on hand if we needed anything, the welcome back was amazing (as others have said) and it was touches like this that makes this villa something special. We were concerned at first about there being so many derelict buildings around but we needn't have worried and we felt very safe there. We walked to Marina Runicon on quite a number of occasions for dinner, it's no more than 20 mins and is an easy walk. We loved the choice of restaurants down there. We had a car and went to El Golfo for a meal which I would highly recommend and a trip to the Sunday market at Teguise is a must. You can't go wrong with this villa and Playa Blanca has a lot to offer.

Great villa, great location
Polo was brilliant before we went, answering questions and providing help and advice. Brilliant welcome pack on arrival - food and drink, and he showed us everything when we got there. Polo sent directions to places we wanted to visit,and made some excellent recommendations for us. The villa is very well equipped with everything you could think of. We had the pool cleaned and fresh sheets/towels provided for us during our stay. The villa is well located for beach, shops and restaurants. We want to come back soon!

We will definitely be back!
We have just come back from a fantastic 10 days at this villa. Polo was a perfect host, really looked after us and the Villa was spotless and really well maintained. Pool area is really lovely and gets the sun all day and is cleaned regularly. The welcome pack when we arrived was brilliant (bread/cheese/ham/crisps/biscuits/red wine/white wine and beer) and meant we didn't need to head straight out to the supermarket - we could relax by the pool with a drink! They really have thought of everything and the place is really homely.
Location is great (and we didn't hire a car) - only a 10 min walk to the supermarket, 10/15 min walk to the marina and the promenade. Papagayo is further and probably a 30 min walk but the beaches are amazing and well worth a visit. The area is quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of everything you need.
Thanks Polo for making our holiday amazing - we will definitely be coming back here.

Amazing property and outstanding host
The villa was absolutely beautiful, with everything finished to a very high standard. We had everything we could possibly wish for in a holiday home. Polo greeted us and gave us detailed information about the area and the Island in general- as well us giving us an excellent welcome pack with more than just the basics!
We had an exceptional holiday in a wonderful villa. The outside area including the pool was wonderfully equipped which made it difficult to pull yourself away. We can't thank you enough for your hospitality Polo, we will be back! P.s your wife's eye for interior design is quite stunning.

A lovely, well appointed villa with a great owner!
Our week in Playa Blanca went too quickly! The villa was really lovely. Very well appointed, very well maintained and in a good location.
Polo is a great host, he was in contact with instructions and recommendations via WhatsApp before and on our arrival. We had a car for the visit so didn't need a lift from the airport, but one was offered!
On arrival the villa had a thoughtful welcome pack and Polo's son, Juan, helped us get settled.
I wholeheartedly recommend the property!

Just perfect
Pollo was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived, villa is lovely and clean and very quiet, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Welcome pack was unbelievable - beer, wine, coffee, tea, bread, ham, cheese and more. We stayed for 4 weeks and could easily have stopped longer, we will definitely be going back!

Superior villa and customer service
We visit this island regular and never found the perfect villa to rebook until now. Luzma and Polo are so friendly from first booking to actually waving you off.
Best bits, (1) on arrival it isn't a welcome pack more of a couple of days shopping from English bread to beer, wine, coke the list goes on and on. (2) The villa itself is spotless, modern and rear garden is south facing (sun all day on the pool) great shaded patio area to escape the trade winds and sun if needed. We hired a car (but offered transport from Polo) we like to visit somewhere new on each holiday, but to walk it's a good hike unless you go in straight line (but rough terrain) to local shops and bars. Polo has provided telephone number for local taxi company and they understand you and where you are, so easy enough if you want to leave car in drive.
Worst bits, honestly (and I am when it comes to writing reviews) I could not think of any without being negative to such a positive holiday villa, you pay three star cost for five star villa and service, value for money is excellent. Polo even sent me a txt to tell me pool cleaner was due that day, so nobody just coming in through the gate who you were not expecting.
Best suited for - families or couples who like open space in the villa, who like to just relax at the pool and barbique, which again is great to clean and use again and again (unlike the stone ones that you only do it once because it takes the rest of the holiday to clean it) :)
So from my wife and two children (aged 28 & 20) and myself a very big thank you to Luzma and Polo for providing a holiday that was made so enjoyable by their hard work and detail to customer service.

Lovely family friendly Villa and fantastic hosts!
We stayed in this villa for 1 week and have just arrived back in the UK. The villa is really nice, modern and clean with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed with a 2yr old and the villa was fairly safe for him to run around. The pool and garden are great and get the sun all day long.
The hosts are fantastic, they were really helpful providing transfers to and from the airport, provided a cot for the toddler and were easily contactable throughout the stay if needed. Also provided a few essentials (drinks and snacks) on arrival so didn't have to rush out to go to the shop.
The location is nice a quiet and away from the main hotel resorts, we didn't hire a car and in hindsight we probably should have as to go to other parts of the island such as Puerto del Carmen and Costa teguise is it quite expensive in taxi and quite long for a toddler on a bus. But it wasn't too much of an issue. Within walking distance to the beautiful marina and papagayo beaches!
Definitely great value for money! I would recommend the villa to friends and family.

Faboulous owner ( excellent communication prior to holiday & provided us with a generous welcome pack of food/drink & arranged superb airport transfers ).
Beautiful south facing garden (full sun all day) with swimming pool & 4 sun loungers, bbq, table & chairs.
Highly recommended , will definitely stay at the villa again .
