Vacanza Eccezionale

La struttura è in una buona posizione del centro storico di Sciacca, con possibilità di trovare parcheggi. Camere ristrutturate con grande cura del dettaglio , molto belle, pulizia impeccabile. Colazione estremamente ricca con prodotti tipici ogni giorno diversi. A rendere qs B&B unico e’ la proprietaria , difficile trovare aggettivi per descriverla ….. Profonda conoscenza e grande disponibilità a fornire info su tutti i tesori del territorio , percorsi turistici e non , proposta di ristoranti con scelta su cosa mangiare ……… Noi abbiamo fatto una vacanza unica esclusivamente su i suoi consigli . Da provare assolutamente!

Struttura accogliente, pulita e luminosa. La proprietaria gentilissima, super ospitale, cortese e ci è venuta in contro in tutte le nostre richieste. Colazione di qualità, con prodotti fatti in casa e non industriali.

Le scale ma è stata colpa nostra e delle nostre valige pesanti! 😂

Extremely friendly and hospitable hosts, they want to make you feel truly at home. The room was very clean and stylish. The terrace where the breakfast is served is beautiful, and the breakfast itself abundant and varied. I wish all hosts had this approach to their guests.

Very highly recommended!

A peacefully quiet and lovely place with a great garden and wonderfully welcoming and kind hosts. And an amazing breakfast with so many delicious things to savor! Our hostess gave us great touring trips and helped us with phone calls and particular advice. Really the most helpful hosts I’ve ever met, and I’ve met many!

It requires walking to reach—but the walk is pleasant and the center of town not far. So it’s not really a negative at all!

We would certainly stay here again!

A nice modern room in an old building. Our hostess Santina was amazing! The breakfast spread was enormous — we couldn't possibly have sampled everything, though we tried! There is a terrace at the top of the building from which you can look down on the courtyard that gives the establishment its name, and maybe have a drink up there on a warm summer evening. We felt that this was a very safe BandB. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was a little warm at night, but air conditioning is available when that happens. Be aware that parking is a little distance away and most of the walk is via steps, so don't bring too much luggage!

We booked a large double room with balcony and assumed that the balcony would overlook the courtyard. In fact the "balcony" was a deep window overlooking the street, so a little disappointed.

Great place in the heart of Sciacca

The breakfast was excellent, with both savoury and sweet choices. The room was very clean and had all the facilities we hoped for. The location too was great: in the middle of the historic centre, close to restaurants, the medieval castle and day market. The host, Santina, was friendly and always happy to help - it really made a difference when we were looking to book taxis and the bus back to Palermo. We would would love to stay there again and definitely recommend it to other travellers!

Everything else - Sciacca is very dirty. The property is full of fake flowers that I hate. The bed was absolutely uncomfortable and not hard.

An exceptional host

Apart from the excellent location and property facilities, the hospitality at "La Finestra Sul Cortile" was beyond our expectations. Our host, signora Santina, was exceptionally welcoming, well-informed, efficient, and helpful. As we were trying to get to the B&B, we got lost several times due to closed roads. The GPS was completely useless, so we called our host, and she guided us on the speaker for about 30 min. through alternative routes until we finally reached the property. By the time we checked in, it was already late and we were very tired. We didn't feel like going downtown, looking for something to eat, although it was within walking distance. Our host, Santina, ordered pizza and a bottle of fine white wine for us and welcomed us into her kitchen, offering water, fruit, and whatever else we needed. We ended up talking with her for more than an hour about history, social justice, geopolitics, traditions, and whatnot. She is such a knowledgeable, skilled, efficient, and friendly person. Together with her husband and their gorgeous chow-chow dog, Leone, she made our stay really special and made us feel at home. Breakfast on the following morning exceeded our expectations, with a variety of local products and delicious, homemade cakes, surrounded by Sicilian art pieces and beautiful, lush plants, in the peace and quiet of the courtyard. I highly recommend this place to anybody traveling to Sciacca and the vicinities. We will definitely go back there for future trips in the area, and recommend it to friends.

The town of Sciacca has a lot to offer, but the chaotic traffic, inadequate road signs, closed roads, lack of sufficient parking space, and lack of proper indications make it difficult for tourists to enjoy their stay to the fullest.

best (sweet) breakfast on our sicily trip

best breakfast we had on our trip in sicily (of you like sweet breakfast although): very tasty fresh croissants, cakes, cookies… delicious! very kind and welcoming owner who explained us everything we wanted to know about the city.

the room was quite small, the staff uses a smelling product to clean the corridor (these are details off course)

The room is totally modernized, comfortable. My daughter's bed is at the top of a small loft, cute. We did not know how to get there. The hostess came to meet with us in a piazza and lead us to the place and showed us the parking spot.

The location is in the middle of the residential area, not near the main attractions and restaurants. It is not accessible by car, difficult to reach by car and parking is hard.

Very cute stay with a MASSIVE breakfast!

The place is rather easy to find (with Google Maps obv), very close to the 'action-area' of Sciacca. Ms Host was great fun and the happiness that came from her was rather refreshing. Cool terrace and a super awesome courtyard where we had an extremely lavish breakfast. I mean seriously – professional baker-level cakes, cookies, pies etc, mad stuff. Oh and there was some prosciutto and cheese too, don't worry. Parking was free close by, just leave it on the Piazza Gerardo Noceto and be done with it!

The accommodation is stylish yet has that wonderful personal touch. The host was so friendly and accommodating. She gave us helpful information regarding the surrounding area. We had a lovely time.
