My room was non-smoking, but smelled strongly of smoke. A/C came from a window unit that started beeping at 2 AM and wouldn't stop. So I shut it off. Staff were friendly and the night was otherwise quiet.

Front desk guy was friendly, quick check-in. The room was comfortable enough, but I'd recommend bringing Clorox wipes for everything you're going to touch. The shower head was disgusting and had bacteria on it. Carpet in the hallways and room were stained and are beyond cleaning; need to be replaced. The picture is of the microwave...

Carpets were not very clean but I’ve seen a lot worse. Overall it was fine. The shower water was a little weak but it was hot. The sink faucet was high enough that I could stick my head under it. Beds were comfortable and sheets appeared fresh and clean. The reservation info was that checkin was between 2 pm and midnight. But at 8:12 pm while I was in a theater, they called me saying that check in was at 2 pm and I didn’t show up, so did I still want the room or not? Kind of off-putting. I didn’t see the voicemail until I got out of the show and was worried they were gonna sell the room out from under me. I had a reservation that was non-refundable and they had my cc info. They weren’t gonna lose money. Hotel was in a very convenient location for my needs though, so I’d probably stay again if suitable.

Depends on your standards. For the area this is a cheap place with clean towels and sheets. Don’t expect anything more. Like many others said the carpets in the room are pretty nasty / outdated. Additionally there’s no security here. When we checked out there was a homeless man sleeping IN the lobby. No one at the front desk. If that’s going to bother you I wouldn’t stay here but overall we didn’t have any issues but I wouldn’t stay with kids here. Staff was nice.

I love the location of the property, and I stay there wherever I am working in DC area because it is close to everything. During every stay there is always an issue with the cable for the television, but on every occasion the front desk person will come assist. On my most recent occasion I arrived to check in at 4:50pm there was no one at the front desk, I waited 27 mins until the individual returned. I check in and went to my room, I immediately turned on the television and the cable wld not connect. I walk bank out and told the mad at the desk. To my absolute shock he said “ I can not help you it is after 3pm and the people that wld handle that have gone for the day.” I explained that I have checked I later prior and there had never been an issue prior. He said “. If you want better service stay somewhere else this a motel not a hotel.” I was angry and shocked so I simply when back to room and cooled off and then I check out. I do expect the red carpet to be rolled out but I do expect basic service, I chose this hotel/motel because of location and the ease, and have stay there more than 5 times . I will think twice before I use them again.

An unplanned stay turned into a pleasant surprise. Inns of Virginia was very hospital and the front desk attendant was so nice. There are restaurants close by and my room was so clean and comfortable providing the night sleep that I needed and a good coffee before I left.

Staff was very rude and wasn’t accommodating at all for someone coming to town for the first time. I felt unsafe and a strand of hair was on the bed. Filthy dirty and staff was not the nicest to accommodate me in such a horrible environment. Not the same pictures online. I walked in and walked right back out knowing that this is somewhere I will not lie my head down. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all!!!! 0-10.

I stayed at this place earlier in the month. I've stayed in hotels all over the world, and this was the worst place I have ever stayed in! In fact, I've never written a review his bad. The photos of the place are deceiving! It was filthy with ants crawling on the bed and all over the room. There was a squashed bug on the bathroom wall and the window area had dead bugs all around it. I brought all of this to the attention of the front desk person (I even brought a live ant with me to show him) and his response was - "What do you expect - this is a Motel not a Hotel" ??? This made no sense whatsoever! Does that mean that Motels are allowed to be disgusting because they are not a Hotel? I asked for a maintenance person to come and fumigate or de-bug the room, and the front desk person said there was nothing he could do. Hopefully, people will heed my warning and stay away - even if it might be a little less money than other places. Believe me, you would rather pay the extra!

Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Quiet at night. Easy free parking. No frills hotel. If you’re looking for even modest luxury, this hotel is not for you. But for an affordable and convenient alternative, this hotel is fine. Dated and worn interior, but we slept fine and felt safe.

We checked in and the first thing we saw was a can of Raid Ant+Roach. Didnt see any roaches but I did have ants the second night. I didnt have a smoke detector in my room, it was tore off the wall. It really isnt that bad, but the rooms are dirty and aged.

Affordable dated units for Adults NO BUGS..! NO ELEVATOR & no breakfast... Microwave & fridge in room .. Great coffee until early afternoon... Locally owned and operated small business ownership. Thin walls where I could hear the conversations/ arguments of both the neighboring rooms. I DON'T recommend it for children. No frills BUT the hot water is great. Bed is very comfortable. Wi-fi is adequate for working. Safeway a block away. Nice location. Every staff l've interacted with was delightful even if the 1s that didn't speak English
