Hotel is STILL under construction/updating as was the case when we stayed last year. Workers working late into afternoon on a Sat, very loud at times. Hallways dirty, dusty, without carpet in many areas. Elevator dirty, numbers rubbed off. We had an updated room which was nice but even though turned heat/air off on wall as instructed fan ran all night.

The day was very nice my experience that I had the second night was there wasn’t very good the general manager of accused my daughter of being disrespectful it was said that it was in a conflict come to find out she was talking about someone else

They allowed us to check in early. But they put us in a room that wasn’t finished being cleaned. Cleaning products still sitting on the table by the TV. Toilet was not cleaned. No fitted sheet on the bed.

As many said this entire property is under renovation and a long way from being done. A lot of questionable people hanging out outside building and as guests. Man on our floor was smoking pot in the hallway. We asked for a new room and floor as the smell was everywhere. Staff was very nice and accommodating but I would never stay here again!

Staff was very friendly and the breakfast fare well above average. The room door stuck so it was difficult to open from both sides. This hotel was doing room upgrades and overall renovation so future patrons should find the surroundings clean and improved.

I would stay here again just for the Friendly Staff! Friendly and helpful staff... they made the stay better. Hotel was under light construction during my stay, but it was still peaceful. I never heard a noise. This hotel needs the remodel... I would love to go back once its done. Great location with lots of potential. I had to stay near the hospital, luckily for me this hotel was across the street. Easy to get to and restaurant walkable distance.

I booked this and it did not say on the Expedia website that the pool was closed the bar was closed the workout facility was closed all in all I was very disappointed that was the main reason why we went there was cuz of the pool. I had three grandchildren crying their eyes out.

Honestly wish it was not under construction. Expedia did not tell us pool was going to be closed, it’s 100 outside a pool on vacation is a big deal, nothing against Laquita they did everything they could to make it a perfect stay, really blame Expedia for not sharing all info or when asked to compensate telling us to pound sand. This is why we should all go to the hotel directly

Hotel was under heavy renovation, smelled musty and gross. Our room was not cleaned when we arrived, door was wide open and bed was unmade. Had to go to front desk and have housekeeping come and finish cleaning. Sketchy people hanging out in parking lot, just bad experience all around

The AC was not working up to par half of it was under construction. The pool was closed under closed under construction parking lot was a mess most the ice machines didn’t work. I think the only one that worked was the one on the second floor, and there was no couch as pictured in the rooms in our room just two beds and a desk with one chair

It was a friends weekend at the beach. We stayed at this hotel on the way home for just one night. The room was clean. We had what was needed. The service was good and prompt. It was friendly. The hotel is still under renovations so there were still some areas that were need of repair and it smelled funky in the main lobby. But breakfast was good and plenty. Hotel room bathroom was nicely renovated in our room and we were comfortable.

The hotel ran out of towels and washcloths. The breakfast was horrible. Only 4 hot food items. Two servings of the same sausage, eggs, and potatoes. There was a broken waffle maker sitting out, a few bagels, no muffins, and some cereal.

Random folks parked in the lot, drinking alcoholic beverages and occasional marijuana smell in the hallways brought an uneasy feeling for my family. The elevators seem to be cosmetically damaged as well. Housekeeping and staff was very pleasant and courteous.

The room was old and outdated. Did not have emergency access such as phone in the room. They put me on a floor that was being remodeled and I was disturbed by the noise. I should have been given a discount for the inconvenience. Sheets on the bed did not appear to be fresh. I had to remove them.

The hotel was comfortable but undergoing some renovations. It felt like our room had recently been renovated and the bathroom was very nice. The clerk, John, was friendly and warm. Prices were reasonable. The breakfast wasn’t too appealing to us but other guests seemed to be enjoying it. We would stay there again.

This hotel is under construction with limited amenities advertised being provided. The cleaning staff were great, but little can be done with features not being well mounted or missing. Pool, gym, recreation room are not available. Elevators have graffiti in every wall, parking lot has construction material in different areas. Rooms were clean and had the basics with the exception of internet or phone.

Staff was wonderful and friendly. Room was clean but definitely in need of upgrades. The bed was super noisy. Also very disappointed that the pool was not open. Per the reason for gettin this hotel in the first place. Ice maker also not working right outside our room.

The carpet outside the rooms were filthy. The tv stand chipped and scratched old furniture broken inner liner curtains and the nosy people scratched cherry wood inside the elevator with all kinds of names and derogatory word itched in wood. Key had to be reset to allow access of side door causing me to walk to front of building I’d say we would never stay here again. If the place is being renovated customers need to know.
