The hotel is obviously not run right. It is so evident that there is no processes that are put in place to ensure A+ standards is trying to be achieved.The first thing that hits you is all the fingerprints and smudges coming in the door. As you check in, you’ll notice the floors are dirty. Look at the grout lines, you have original color and then you have dirt from dirty mop water. Everyone wants to use the, excuse of going through a remodel. In my opinion, they’re trying to cut cost so much to make up for this expense that they’re taking it out on loyal customers. That breakfast is a joke. They actually had breakfast burritos that you put in A microwave. Yes… Like the ones you buy at 7-Eleven. I had a job this morning and was in the lobby at 6:30 AM , no coffee to be found. everything that I mentioned is elementary in this industry. This all boils down to laziness and poor management. anyone thinking about staying at this hotel do not do it you’ll be greatly disappointed. If they will do this and use a remodel as a crutch for poor hospitality, I question their character and integrity. Stay somewhere else.

Was not told I had to inform the front office that I needed to inform them I wanted my room cleaned. Stayed two nights and for the price I paid I expected a better breakfast. Was told that the manager had not updated the food permit so the breakfast we were served was not fresh. Everything was packaged and needed to be warmed up. Staff was great and cleaning crew was nice though. Was very disappointed!!

Room, looks like never been clean swept for surgery. Even cockroaches are walking around when I was checking out this morning I saw the cockroach from the bathroom went underneath front door and left into a hallway. They should be a motel even motel circle cleaner than these for $150 a night I made a big big mistake, but I’ll make sure that every social media site find out about that hotel

This La Quinta is in the middle of renovations. The sections that are complete, like the lobby, are great. The rooms are mostly finished but not quite. The windows let in a ton of sound from the outside and the A/C is not great. The halls and exterior steps and walkways still need some work.

The hotel is under tenovation, mostly finished now. The rooms are clean and modern but would be more comfortable with an easy chair.

No hot breakfast

The building was under construction so there were a lot of people in and out. I know when you stay in a hotel, I should not expect perfection but the floor boards looked moldy and the room had a weird stench to it. The bed and pillows were good but the sound of the shower was horrible. Sounded like there was a generator in our room. We couldn’t even hear the tv. The people that were staying right behind us were stomping or jumping as the ceiling in our room sounded very loud all night. The receptionist was exceptionally awesome!

Last minute booking, very convenient for travel with a dog

The property seemed to have gone through a renovation but it was done on a low budget in my opinion. I found too many visible imperfections in the labor done everywhere. The lobby looked great but everwhere else l turned there would be signs of incomplete or bad patchwork done. The room had a very unwelcome and cold feeling to it. We had a double bed room. One of the beds was lower than the other which was very odd. I wanted to put my liqour bottle in the freezer but the ice in the fridge was so thick from not ever been thawed out that l could not even place a small bottle in the ice bay. The room looked generic with no pictures on the walls, the TV had Chromecast builtin but we could not be connected to it more than 5 minutes because it would disconnect itself. While l was leaving the hotel l got on the elevator to go down to my car. I accidently pressed the CALL button. A recorded voice said it was calling for assistance. It kept ringing until it stopped and said "no answer" and just stopped. Thank goodness l wasn't ill or trapped in the elevator because it was very early in morning. I would not have been found for hours.

good , reasonable price

Did not like the hotel. Did not feel safe for my family and I to stay. There were roaches and we ended up booking another hotel as surrounding area did not look safe and door did not properly close.

Keys would not work. No one at the reception desk to assist. I had to wonder around to find someone to help. I even attempted calling the hotel from the lobby and listened to the phone ring with no answer or appearance by anyone.

The hotel was under construction, and was not in the best of looks. There was unfinished work in the rooms and across the building. No breakfast available.

Clean and timely staff attention.

The lady at the front desk was warm and inviting. The room was clean and well appointed. It had a large clean tub. Me and my daughter enjoyed the room. Breakfast was lame a couple grab and go muffins, nothing to special. WiFi was easy, bed was comfy.

The remodel is going well and our room was clean and pleasant, if a bit spartan--could use a small table to eat at. New furniture was efficient and comfortable. Loved the vinyl flooring! Shower was comfortable and easy to work. We did mention to your staff that neither the fridge or the microwave worked--possibly due to the construction. The room was quiet and we liked the newer shade/curtains.

Don't waste your money. Place is falling apart and there is no breakfast unless you count them offering granola bar as breakfast. We had to get three different rooms because something was wrong with each one. First room, water wasn't working, our second room the lock literally fell off the hinge for our door. We had initially booked a two queen but they could only get me a single king so my kids were in a pullout couch. All they could offer was a 20% discount for our troubles.

Hotel was under construction and there was drywall dust/debris all over the carpet in the corridors. Several plugs didn’t work, not sure if related to construction work

The restroom door wouldn’t unlock there was pieces of paper all over the hallway there were tons of hairs on the bed and filth all around the tub and toilet, the elevator is scetchy. The staff was super nice check in was great and easy.

I try to avoid hotels where a lot of construction workers lodge mainly because these hotels are in need of major repairs and/or remodeling as it was the case with this hotel. I was disappointed in the overall appearance both inside and out.

Mold smelled like weed

Checking in the clerk was ready for us and just handed us our keys. He was busy talking to what appeared to be a non employee female. After settling in we found that the TV didn’t work. We called the front desk and the clerk said he would be there in 10 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes we walked to the front desk to find him still talking to the female. He came to the room and explained the internet is on and off so the TV wont work properly. Then water started to pool on the floor dripping from the ceiling. We again disturbed the clerk. He moved us to another room. However, that room had uneven flooring and a smashed bathroom door. The door handle was almost falling off. It is obvious the hotel is under construction. We found the workmanship and materials to be very poor quality. Would not recommend this hotel.

Renovation in process, puddles of water make slips dangerous. Trash outside, no towel rack available, Highway noise very eviden. Staff friendly and willing. Coffee is make it yourself and breakfast is stale packaged rolls. Not La Quinta standard

Nice rooms

1st, 2nd night were okay. 3rd night construction from 3-8 where I could t hear TV and knocked my my door to do construction on my room. I went to the vending machine which all 3 didn’t work, on my way to the lobby a huge cockroach was staring at me. Lawyer the entire hallway smelled like weed, two huge dogs in the room next door barked all night. In the morning going out the door there was a rattlesnake and 2 cases of Modelo and trash everywhere. Guess it depends on which nights you’re there. The staff was cool, room was good for the price - just the etiquete of the clientele and basic stuff not working kinda sucked.

There are alot of nice places to eat within two miles, and right next door to Ihop. This place is 5 minutes from the Round Rock Amp, great for the price. I rated 4 stars, but there were issues. There was lots of renovating going on, so no breakfast and no lobby, I feel there should have been a discount for sleeping at a construction site, but glad to see they are working on it. The room was okay, kinda of plain and the floors could use a better mopping, there was a refrigerator. Bathroom was fine. You can hear every single door slam, I think this should be fixed, it affected me sleeping in. This La Quinta was great if you don't plan on being in the room much. I would come back.
