Very far from Hbf also there is limited public transportation specialy on weeken big problem

The garden-view room was comfortable, but lacks air-conditioning. We had 28 C days and 22 C nights, so tolerable, but just note this. They said they are only cleaning every 2 days due to Covid. I left a "please clean" sign on the door on the 2nd day, but it was ignored. The breakfast was fairly basic, lacked fresh fruit
3.9
Room was clean; 3 days no hot water. They did not do anything to compensate this issue
3.9
Good location just in front University Hospital. Well connected to city center by bus and train
3.9
Nothing to complain. Adequete service and room condition on the price range.
3.9
Great price for the location. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

no air conditioner during hottest season....

I paid about $55 for one night, which is a pretty good deal. The room was okay, nothing fancy, no fridge, tiny tv, and the carpet was a bit old and worn but otherwise the room was just fine for the price. They have a bar, which is nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is clean and comfortably furnished and the staff are keen to assist when required, otherwise they stay discreetly in the background.
My wife and I both enjoyed our brief stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a quiet, relaxing, stay. Should we return to Dusseldorf, then we will most definitely return to this hotel.

Very expensive

Not really in the city but good transport connection. Rooms are adequate, bathrooms are renovated and super clean! Small sauna on premises and included.

Great service perfect stay

Hotel was below par for a 4 star. Situated OK for local transport, the building was clean and well presented. The room, whilst also clean, did not have tea / coffee facilities nor even bottled water! That was unacceptable. It was supposed to be catering for the business and tourist traveller. The breakfast, on the other hand, was exceptionally good with a wide choice and friendly staff. I attended an exhibition at the Messe and it was within striking distance with good transport links. I honestly did not think it was a 4 star standard overall.

This is a good hotel which I have used before (2017) but at present (Aug 2018) it is a building site with lots of drilling sounds during the daytime and trip hazards on the stairs. Once it returns to normal - not soon, as it seems the whole first floor is being refurbished - it may be back to its previous high standards.

Needs refurbishment. Not 4 stars, maybe 2! Bathroom smells of sewage and the shower was old fashioned and dangerous. The shower head was at least 2.5 metres high and not auto temperature control so you had to fiddle with hot and cold taps with the hot tap so hot it burns your fingers. The water sprayed everywhere but on me and the hot water shot out of the front of shower head but cold water out of the back so quite dangerous! I found the bed very hard and there was no extra bedding like pillows or sheets. There was no coffee or tea making facility and not even a complementary bottle of mineral water! There were no bottles of handcream or shampoo in the bathrooom just a big soap dispenser on the wall. The bath was ridiculously high to climb into and had no non slip s safety coating. The hairdryer didn't work and every morning about 7-15 Simone started hammering on the wall in a nearby room or in the corridor so impossible to sleep late! The curtains don't fit the windows so at 5-15 when the sun rose, the room was full of light and so impossible to sleep. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. Especially Vanessa. I slept about 10 hours total over 4 nights!

The location of this hotel from was far away and took long time from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. I was advised by another hotel staff in the central and it required to use Tram U74 for 8th stops from the station plus 300m's walk from the tram stop or taxi ride.
And the first impression of this 4 stars hotel was nice but inside the guest room was old and quite basic and not bright enough at night.

I guess this is fine for business people just looking for a bed for 1/2 nights. It's clean & efficient but rather like a morgue. The reception staff were polite and helpful but not especially interactive of chatty. The bar was clean and business like but as dead as a cemetery and the sofas and benches in the bar were hard and unforgiving not really encouraging to stay and relax . The lift worked well and we never hadto wait long. Our room, on the first floor and was like a box, rather like a single room than a twin. It had an ensuite etc but rather small bath towels. The room Was very warm at all times and we had to have the window-doors open most of the time. When someone used the bathroom next door etc in the middle of he night, it was noisy and kept waking you up. The beds were OK - they had divan bases rather than the cheap wooden slats that hurt your back, but they were not over comfortable so we still had back ache every day- not ideal for a long weekend relaxing break! The room was typical of many large hotel chains, basic, functional and soulless. You wouldn't want to spend much time there except for sleeping. The bedding was good, sheets and duvet cover were very silky cotton and the pillows were soft and comfortable too. but no tea or coffee making facilities. a small bottle of mineral water provided daily with tiny water glasses drunk in 2 gulps. There were chocolates on arrival. A good continental breakfast with muesli, cheeses, fruit, meats, eggs, sausage etc.

Easy access .- quiet location - clean & nice
2nd time here

no water tanks, no kettle (only upon request)

For a short stay the hotel was adequate, generally a hotel for business customers it was clean and for the price an affordable option close to downtown & the university especially if you need to park a car securely. Did not try breakfast.
3.9
This hotel is very well located and it is only a few minutes away from the university. It is a simple hotel but it does the job if you are in town for just a few days
3.9
Nice hotel, great value and staff. Close to the tram stops to get into the heart of town, will more than likely go again
3.9
good location, centrally located, small beds but I've been told that the beds are standard for germany. only thing I didn't like is I felt rushed in the mornings getting up and leaving room so they could clean room. Vacation, I wanted to sleep in, one day left room at noon, and they didn't clean room that day. housekeeping was always knocking on our door around 1030am or so checking to see if they could clean our room. other than that, pleasant stay for the most part. No restaurant or bar in this hotel, that would have been nice to have and breakfast bar in the morning is kind of expensive. like 9.5 euros.
3.9
Very impressed with this hotel and the service there - top-notch value for money, quiet neighbourhood near the University, nearby tram connections to the Hauptbahnhof and to the Old Town. Id personally like them to add a fitness centre, but otherwise no complaints at all.
3.9
This review probably wont be terribly helpful as I arrived around midnight, slept, and left at 9am! I was traveling alone, and the room was very comfortable, everything worked well. With such a late check-in, of course I encountered the night shift guy, and he wasnt quite rude, but definitely apathetic. The guy who was there for the morning shift was a real gentleman. We were talking for a few minutes at checkout and I told him I hadnt had a chance to try the chocolate when I was in Belgium the day before. He made a surprised face and ran to the back to give me some chocolate of his own. I declined, but will always remember that gesture.
3.9
The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. comfortable beds and clean room facilities, The bar was a bit expensive but thats to be expected. Tram stop to the old town just around the corner for 1.40 Euros each way to the Alstadt.
3.9
The hotel is down as a four star but it barely reached three. Not ideal for business as you cant even get an iron to use. But I have to say it is functional and the 706 tram just around the corner gets you into two in 15-20 mins. For me it was a last minute deal so did the job (just).
3.9
The staff is always very helpful. No smoking rooms available. No frigo bar in the rooms (!?). Breakfast very good. No restaurant available, but at 100 mts there is a good restaurant (Weise).
3.9
This hotel offers excellent value and I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city, and I would choose to stay here again the next time I visit. The hotel is geared towards the business traveller, but is also excellent for leisure. Although a little outside the centre of town, its only about a 20 mintute walk to the centre, and there are plenty of trams. The area surrounding the hotel (near the university) is very pleasant, with plenty of good restaurants, shops, bakeries and bars.Rooms in the hotel are very clean with very comfortable beds. Rooms are a decent size, and facilities are all you would ever need. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and polite.
3.9
Duesseldorf is not a prime tourist attraction, but my main purpose in visiting was to try to improve my colloquial German. The City Partner hotel lies in a quiet suburb of Duesseldorf, which is well served by public transport (primarily a fast, efficient tram service). The hotel is modest, offering only bed and (as an extra) an "international" breakfast buffet. Neveretheless, it is modern, clean and well-maintained. Its rooms are divided into smoking and non-smoking, with a physical division between the areas in which each type lies. It has an all-day bar facility. The staff are unfailingly obliging (even courteously refraining from trying to override my hesitant German with their better spoken English). There is a quite wide selection of modest restaurants, takeaways, and shops in the hotel's vicinity. Altogether, it makes a pleasant base for a visit.
