$34 for parking on a non-event night? My mother got lost at night on the street among homeless people trying to find you from your parking structure. The roll in shower was either clogged or couldn’t find a drain for the water to exit. Worst stay at a Hyatt ever.

Stay was not satisfactory & it is doubtful we ever stay again in a Hyatt property. Upon check in late afternoon we were partially informed there would be no water in the hotel from 11pm to 5am. No explanation was given, no courtesy bottled water was made available & no reduction in room rate or offer to move us to a close by alternate Hyatt property. There truly was no water, no working toilets etc during this entire time. We were concerned about fire danger as well. The breakfast offer at $25 p/head was very poor, totally disorganized with no real buffet that was convenient or offered any servers. You just picked some packaged items off some shelves & tried to find paper plates, utensils that were scattered about a large open area. We won’t be staying at any other Hyatt properties after this disaster of a stay. Clearly paying guests don’t warrant consideration at Hyatt!

The Hyatt Regency was a gorgeous property in a GREAT location in downtown Phoenix. We walked to the hotel from Chase Field after attending a concert. In the walk along the way there were a plethora of bars and restaurants. Not a ton of homeless on the vicinity either. The valet parking was $10 more than the parking garage but worth it IMO. The valet guys were quick and efficient. My only complaint is we checked in at 3:15pm (instead of 4) and they only had “certain rooms available” at that time. We had no choice as we had to get to our event so our only option was to “upgrade to a balcony room” for $10 more. Ok that sounds nice, great city views….fine we will do it! Omg not worth it AT ALL I will attach a picture of our “view” from the balcony. We were on the 7th floor. Maybe balcony on the 15th floor and above would have been worth it. Otherwise the room was gorgeous and very clean. And the body wash smelled like heaven!

Stayed here one night to go to a concert at the foot print center and it was so convenient! Walking distance to the arena. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Definitely will stay here again.

The lobby was beautiful, check-in fast and seamless, and my room was very clean with a personal note from the staff that had done the service. I slept well and it was incredibly convenient to the convention center.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival and very happy with our room. The workout work is top notch and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The location was perfect for our needs and we’ll be back the next time we’re attending an event in downtown Phoenix.

Checked in after midnight. Told to take the back elevator to 20 floor. Unpacked to leave to stroll downtown & the elate broke. We are stuck on floor 20. Called front desk- no answer.

The only thing that prevented this from being a 10/10 is the room had a cooler vs a fridge that is advertised. Also most of the establishment in the hotel are cashless.

I can't be any happier with my choice. 1st time in Phoenix and this hotel was right in downtown accessible to all kinds of places, museums, chase field, bars, restaurants all walking distance. Staff was great, everyone was courteous and friendly. Definitely considering for future visits.

We had tickets to the Santana concert so we reserved the room concert cancelled so we decided to go to the AZ Diamondbacks game and spend the day and nite downtown. Game started at 1:10 I called in the am and talked to a great lady named Phoebe. i asked about early check in so we could drop out stuff and vehicle. She checked and was able to make this happen great place, great view great employees we would love to return!! I

Otherwise a nice (if older) hotel, but the concierge had told us that the hotel validated parking and told us where to park. Little did we know that it ended up being $36 a day to park there, so after paying it once we ended up parking on the street and jockeying the meters. Of course, they will graciously arrange valet parking for you at almost a third of the cost of the actual room! Only other complaint was the horrific separation between rooms on floor 7. The gap under the door forced us to hear every conversation, every TV commercial, every closing door. The A/C was never able to keep up even at a conservative 73 degrees, either. Pretty bad for what I usually get at a Hyatt. Everything else was par for the course, however. Comfortable room.

This is our second time staying at the hyatt regency. We love the location, walkable to chase field. We stayed in a balcony room & the room was large & spacious as well as the balcony. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're attending an event in downtown Phoenix.
