Room was comfortable and clean. However, the ice machine was nearby and late nighters were using it to fill buckets after midnight and again after 2 a.m. So hard to sleep.

Functional motel passing from San Francisco to Yosemite. Restaurants nearby and ample parking. Large room size with all the usual amenities.

The best staff I have ever experienced in my travels. Hotel has both a restaurant with seoarate var and a Taco Bell nearby. The poll has a separate jetted jacuzzi

I gave 5 stars based completely on the efforts of the staff members. They are kind, polite and work hard to maintain the premises. As far as the facilities, it’s a motel 6, so it’s kinda what you’d expect. My only main suggestions would be have beds that are secured to the floor not on rollers, the second floor should have an elevator, with all ADA accommodation laws it just seems wrong and put a coffee maker in the rooms. That’s all I got.

Motel 6 is an affordable place to stay. It is not a luxury motel, but it is very well maintained for an older motel. I cannot imagine how much work it must take to run a motel and keep it budget friendly. I am impressed with how they do it. I thank them for offering a welcoming facility. Keep up the great work. And, I thank them for hiring staff that makes the customers feel valued and welcomed.

This facility is a cut above the usual Motel 6 in both room size and general grounds ambience. We particularly appreciate the restaurant on site. The only complaint is that the water pressure in our room was a little low.

Everything was great with one exception. The stairs and walkways were very dirty with spills all the way down the stairs in the south east stair well. Please clean the stairs and walkways. The room was nice and clean and big with table and chairs. The pillows were good, the bed was comfortable. The cleaning ladies were very nice and helpful. The checkin lady was very nice and loaned me a hair dryer for my stay. Overall I would recommend staying here. No frills, but great for the price.

The only plus for us was they took dogs. Definitely felt unsafe. Learned later from locals it’s known as an unsafe place with questionable people having long stays there. Would sleep in my car before staying there again.

Every staff I had encounters with were wonderful. Maria (pm shift) was so helpful, making sure my dog and I were happy. She called my room checking to make sure! She went above and beyond Anyone I have had encounter w/all around the world at places I have stayed. The next day, I met the day staff, all who were exceptional also. This Motel 6 Oakdale should be very proud of their staff. I definitely would stay at this Motel 6 if my dog and I need to stay the night.

We booked through Hotels.com, but the motel couldn’t find our booking. Thus, our room had been given away. After the registration desk checked another computer our reservation was found. The staff was helpful. Before we got our key we were asked to sign a piece of paper that stated we would not punch holes in walls, punch or break the tv, stain or steal the linens, not stay longer than 3 weeks and not have more than 2 cats and 2 dogs in our room. At that point you realize what you’ve signed up for. The room was clean, except the entire edge of the dining table was gummy. Different dogs barked all night. My allergies went crazy with stuffy nose and itchy palms. The room smelled like an old ashtray. I think the filter needs to be changed. Again, the front desk person was very professional.
